Unable to Post

It's been happening off an on for a bit actually. Every now and again, I just can't post a reply to a thread, across all browsers. I can type it in the reply box at the bottom, but none of the buttons are clickable. It's a bit troublesome. Anyone know what's causing it?

If the later, I would check for connection issues and/or "security error -- you left this tab open too long without interaction -- please reload and try again".

 

I can't click the buttons. When I hover over them when it happens, they don't highlight.

 

That's odd. It sounds like something interfering with the script(s) the site runs. Maybe try disabling any adblock or noscript type addons you're using for this site.

If that were the case, I would expect it to (1) be an "always" problem rather than an "intermittent" problem, and (2) not be happening across browsers.

This is a mildly stupid suggestion, but have you tried clicking them anyways? I mean, probably, but someone's got to ask to verify.

 

script blockers can and do malfunction in ways that cause them to intermittently cause problems especially if they're malfunctioning because they're conflicting with another add-on or need to be updated.

More importantly though you do realize this thread is 3 years old right?

I would recommend making a new thread rather than resurrecting a 3-year-old thread. You'll also need to provide more information about what the problem is and preferably information about what you've already tried to fix the problem and when exactly\under what circumstances the problem occurs to get help with whatever issue you're having.
