Warning when about to necro a thread?

    I know SB and SV have a little warning above your reply when posting to a dead thread. Is that something that can be implemented here, or is it part of the ongoing experimental build that is SB? As I understand it, quite a few necros happen because people don't realize they're necroing, b/c they only look at the date of the last post, not the month.

    Maybe it could have a copy of rule 7 in it, so people understand what material is allowed and what isn't in a thread necro?

    Eh, it's probably not worth spending money on until the board grows bigger. Necros aren't so much a problem at the size we are right now, it would just be nice to have going forward.

    I believe this addon has been released; I can't recall if it's for pay or not. Much of Xon's stuff is actually free.

    I'll add it to the Big List of Things to Mess With Next Time I Do Forum Maintenance.
