So, I had an idea, to combine all the Northern army's post-Red Wedding and see how many men the north, in both the show and book, (not counting most of the Ironborn and only counting Jon's wildling army, I do count Stannis, the Vale relief army and the Frey's with the Bolton's) have.

They are: 5'000 Bolton's, 1'000 Karstarks and Umbers in the show at the Battle of the Bastards, for 6'000 total.

Show Stannis has 1'500 men.

Jon has 2'000 wildings, 200 Hornwoods, 143 Mazins, 62 Mormonts and 1 giant Wun Wun, and an unlisted number of Stark men (can't really be counted).

And the 2'000 Vale knights of Nestor Royce.

In the books: Stannis has 1'500 men, 3'600 Clansmen and Northern soldiers and 400 Umber men led by Mors.

The Bolton's have 3'500~ including 3'000 infantry and 500 cavalry, 400 Umbers led by Hothor, 2'000 Frey's including 500 Knights, 300 Manderlys and 456 Karstarks led by Arnolf, and an unknown number of Dustin, Tallhart, Cerwyn, Hornwood and Locke men (again, can't count).

Rodrick has 2'000 Stark men, and Ramsay has 600 men of the Dreadfort Garrison.

And I guess I'll throw Theon a bone and give him 30 and Asha's 200 men at Deepwood Motte.

The idea was for Robb to arrive at the Crossing/Twins early and be joined by these forces, what do you think, of these forces joined Robb's army and he got to the Riverlands early, say around the time of the Battle in the hills beneath the Golden tooth, would anything change? Would it be worse?

All of the men, Lord's and commander's of the forces are in character, but loyal to Robb or his cause or simply happy to be fighting Lannister's, all those who betray the Stark's aren't traitor's anymore, Jon has Longclaw and Ghost, he's the Jon from the battle of the Bastards but he won't hate Ramsey or like him, no duplicate of Roose Bolton, Ramsey will join his army, duplicate of Stannis Jon, Davos and so on.

Basically what if Robb got there sooner and got an almost rag tag band of reinforcements?
