Chi-Chi was worried. Well, she always worried.
When the twins were born and as both grew up, she pushed Gohan and Akito to study. Akito seemed to grasp some of his studies quicker, but as his mother, she could tell his heart wasn't in it.

Then Goku's older brother came.
She had never seen Akito in such a condition before. Gohan looked a little scraped up, but Krillin explained that Akito would always put himself in front of attacks meant for Gohan. During the fight with Nappa, it was Akito who took the brunt of it throwing himself in the way again and again to keep Gohan safe.

Then when Gohan went away to Namek, Akito chose to stay and train on Earth some more, waiting until Goku had healed before heading over with him. From the look on Goku's face, he was happy to have him tag along. And when Akito shot up and handled ten times gravity without breaking a sweat, according to Goku, he impressed him in leaps and bounds.
Then the Cell Games happened.

During the lead-up, Goku took both boys into the Hyperbolic Time Chamber, each spending a year training with him.

And when Goku put Akito up to fight Cell, Akito seemed to fight Cell to a standstill even forcing Cell to self-destruct.
Leading to Goku sacrificing himself.

Flashback
Akito (thoughts): Damn it. I guess no matter how hard I trained since being reborn here, I still can't protect this planet even when I watched the anime to an obnoxious level.
He watched as his father turned to face him.
Goku: Akito, don't go beating yourself up over this. You did beat Cell. Even I wasn't expecting him to blow himself up when things didn't go his way.

And please once this is all over, take a break. Remember to enjoy life. You've been so tense. Don't go trying to put everything on your shoulders all the time.

…I am proud of both you and Gohan.
Goodbye, my son.

From what she was told, when Cell came back, Akito ascended to Super Saiyan 2.
And now here they were, seven years later.

Chi-Chi: Gohan, have you seen Akito and Goten around? I'd like to see how both your uniforms look before your first day.
Gohan: Akito took Goten to play with Trunks. And no doubt he's sparring with Vegeta

since he'll need to hold off on sparring until Sunday. We both start school tomorrow.
Orange Star High. Here we come.
Chi-Chi chuckled.

POV: Akito
Vegeta: That's enough for today. It's getting late.
He dropped out of Super Saiyan 2, Akito doing the same.
Akito: Aw, look at you going all soft, Geets.
Akito felt a blow to the back of his head.
Vegeta: Careful with the nicknames if you still want me to teach you, fool.

Akito: Hey, don't act like it's a waste of your time. We both get a sparring partner, and I get to learn more about Saiyan history.

Timeskip — Midnight, the Son House
Akito (thoughts): Well, looks like the seven years of peace are almost up. Which means the Majin Buu Saga is coming. I'm surprised the Time Patrol never caught wind of me

unless I wasn't that much of a change to the timeline, or they just didn't notice.

A/N:
Right, serious talk. This is something I've glossed over twice and made about six chapters of before I had to delete everything and stop for a moment.
Because in those drafts I brought in stuff like him being a Time Patroller. I even had different ideas on who to pair him with for example, TFS Puddin, because it would be chaotic and funny in my head.

But something piled up in my mind and I think I could maybe get it to work.
If I do decide to go that route, I could introduce and only in one way a girl being Weiss Schnee from RWBY. Now before you say completely different universe, this would just be a version of her. As in, I can make it so the Schnee Technology Company are competitors to Capsule Corp. She'd be best friends with Videl, because Gohan would still be the Great Saiyaman. So let me know in the comments.

This just reads like a summary.
And the supposed SI had no affect on the timeline at all. Did he somehow have no canon knowledge?

Like, the biggest change should be that the android/cell Saga should not happen.
Otherwise there is a future version of him that just let his father die of the heart virus and did absolutely nothing to prepare for/warn people of the androids, resulting in billions if humans dying.
(Big canon changes should probably happen far earlier than that though)

yeah thier a reason That he didn't have that much effect on the timeline in my mind

Being as young as he was and with chi chi style

Hed struggle to find time to actually train properly
For the threats I.e sayian saga and Namek he trained with Goku on the way thier

Gero would have still been moinatring the fights on earth

Now that Hes well old enough and promised to at least Attend high school when the time
Comes he spent most of his time doing nothing but training

Look at it this way:
After Namek they wait for Goku's return, then suddenly King Cold & Frieza come to earth.
The SI expects Future Trunks to arrive and kill them, instead Goku teleports to earth with Instant Transmission.
SI now knows that he is in the future timeline.
This is the absolute latest time he should start actively doing something with his knowledge or everyone he cares for is going to die. Wisest choice is sharing his future knowledge with his father or Kami.
Kami can even verify it, read his mind.

If canon stays almost the same until after the Cell Games, then that means that the future timeline's version of the SI has been a complete failure.

I would personally try to share my knowledge even before Raditz arrived.
That they defeated Raditz in canon was pure luck, what if in this timeline Raditz does not kidnap Gohan or because Raditz kidnaps both twins Gohan does not get his rage boost and hits him? What if because of some minor change the SI unknowingly caused Piccolo's Special Beam canon does not hit Raditz or he is somehow able to dodge?

Chapter 2 New
Man, what a drag."
Gohan shot his brother a sideways look as they walked through the school gates. "Oh come on, it's the first day. No need to be such a downer."
Akito stuffed his hands into his pockets, scanning the crowd of students milling around Orange Star High. "Yeah, yeah." He paused. "Hey, after this I'm going into the Time
Chamber. I want to test something."
Gohan: Don't worry about it.

The school day passed the way most first days did introductions, timetables, teachers sizing up new faces. Gohan slipped into it naturally, clearly more comfortable in a classroom than he let on. Akito sat through each lesson bored out of his mind. By the time the final bell rang, he was already gone.

Yo, Dende."
The young Guardian turned from the railing. "Hello, Akito. You just missed Piccolo. But
".The Time Chamber has been prepared." Like you asked
"Thanks, Dende." Akito rolled his neck. "I'll be gone a full twenty-four hours. Before I head in, I'm going to make a body double can't have Mum noticing I've vanished."
He raised both hands, fingers crossing into a seal, and spoke quietly.
"Blood Clone Technique."

The air shimmered. A perfect copy of him stepped forward, gave Dende a short nod, then turned and leapt off the Lookout's edge, descending back toward the world below.
Akito watched it go, then turned toward the chamber door.
"Right then. Let's get to work."

Inside the Hyperbolic Time Chamber
The silence in here had a weight to it. No wind, no horizon worth mentioning just endless white and the faint hum of time moving at its own pace. Akito had always found it oddly comfortable.

He stood in the centre of that pale emptiness and exhaled slowly.
Alright. The goal is Super Saiyan 3 at least semi-efficient. I hate the form and I'll always prefer Two, but there's no point leaving a tool sitting on the floor just because it's heavy.
He let the transformation come.

The energy climbed through him like a tide

slow at first, then all at once. His hair tore downward past his shoulders, past his waist, flooding gold in long crackling waves. Lightning split the white air around him. The ground cracked under his feet from nothing but the pressure of it.
Super Saiyan 3.

He held it. Breathed through it. Felt how immediately it began to eat through him, burning reserves the way a bonfire burns through wood
fast, indiscriminate, wasteful.
That is the problem with this form.

HE Pushed his Limits and broke through them
during those three months of chamber time he did nothing but push the form's limits from the inside holding it through exhaustion, dropping it only when his body forced him to, climbing back in the moment he had recovered enough to stand. Gradually, stubbornly, the drain

eased. Enough that it would cost less stamina and energy than before.

By the end of the third month he stood in Super Saiyan 3 and felt only steady.
He let it drop.
That's as far as I'm willing to take this one.

He uncurled his tail.
It had always been there, wrapped twice around his waist out of habit. He shot a ball of energy into the sky.
Now. Burst open and mix.
The Oozaru transformation didn't feel like a transformation. It felt like the world shrinking around him — like his own edges suddenly extending outward past where they should stop. His body surged upward, bulk and power and the low resonant thunder of a great ape's heartbeat filling the chamber from wall to wall.
He had control. He had learned it early and kept it carefully. But control of the Oozaru was one thing. What he was attempting now was different.
He reached for Super Saiyan.
Inside the Oozaru state, with that enormous reservoir of power already active, the transformation was like trying to light a fire inside a storm. The energy fought itself, two forces colliding at angles that weren't meant to coexist. He pushed. Lost it. Found the thread again. Pushed harder.
It took two months.
But he kept finding the thread.
And eventually He found it and when the smoke cleared

Where the great ape had stood, a new form emerged. Smaller than the Oozaru, but larger than his base, built with a density that spoke of both states compressed and refined into something new. Long dark hair fell past his shoulders. His body was covered in deep red fur, save for his chest and hands. His eyes, when he looked down at them, carried a red trim at their edges.
Super Saiyan 4.

Akito stood in the silence of the chamber and felt the form settle around him like something that had always been waiting.
Forty-five minutes, he guessed. That's how long I'll be able to hold it.
He let it go and dropped into base, breathing slowly.
I should probably show Vegeta Super Saiyan 3. Give him something to work toward. He's more of a family man now than he was I genuinely doubt he'd go running to Babidi when the time comes. Probably.

Pros and cons. Always annoying. Then again, so is dying.

He sat down on the cracked ground and stared at the white nothing of the ceiling.
Still. I think it was stupid of me to jump in front of the attack Frieza aimed at Krillin. At least I had some leeway training with King Kai means dying isn't quite the ending it is for most people. But still. Stupid.
The look on Frieza's face though.
He almost smiled.
Worth it.

Meanwhile — West Galaxy, Space
The ship was small and fast, crewed by people who had chosen better lives than the ones they'd been handed.
"Excuse me, Captain why exactly are we liberating this particular planet?" Weren't we supposed to be well Pirates

The woman at the helm turned slightly. She had long, curly orange hair and bluish-green skin, her pointed ears catching the faint light from the star chart in front of her. The white and blue of her outfit was travel-worn but kept with care, gold buckles catching what light there was.

Zangeya was quiet for a moment.
"It's simple," she said. "A long time ago, when I was still running with my old crew, we crossed paths with a young Saiyan warrior. His name was Akito." She paused. "When my old captain turned on me fired a blast meant to finish me right there Akito stepped in front of it."
The younger crew member stared. "He saved you? Why?"
"I asked him the same thing." A small smile crossed her face. "Do you know what he said?"
"What?"
"He said I had the potential to do good. With whatever was left of my life." She looked back out at the star chart. "So I decided to find out if he was right."

Back on the Lookout
Akito stepped out of the chamber into real air.
Twenty-four hours in the world outside. Enough.
He stood at the Lookout's edge for a moment, tail curling idly at his side, and looked out at the Earth below.
Super Saiyan 4 is achieved. It still needs a lot of work to make it fully useful. And I need to decide what to tell Vegeta.
He pushed off the edge and dropped toward home.
Dying is annoying. I speak from experience. Twice. Let's try not to make it three.

A/N:
I'll keep it 100% this chapter I barely edited, mostly because it was 3 AM and I'd finished work around midnight, so it's not great. I feel like my old draft was a lot better since I introduced Xenoverse elements, i.e. Akito being a Time Patroller.

And I sort of brought in popoulr YouTube characters cac and made them a team

Also Akito was trained by dumplin

You might want to review the sentences, they dont make sense sometimes such as when he was talking to dende. Also previously it was mentioned he stayed on earth during namek yet here he states he ran in front of the attack on krillan from frieza

Then, when Gohan left for Namek, Akito chose to stay behind and train on Earth a while

longer before heading over with Goku. From the look on Goku's face, he was happy to have him tag along. And when Akito handled ten times gravity without breaking a sweat, Goku made no effort to hide how impressed he was. According to him, Akito was exceeding expectations in leaps and bounds.
Format transfer failure? Or did you accidentally part it in the middle of a sentence?

In the lead-up, Goku took both boys into the Hyperbolic Time Chamber each spending a full year training at his side. When Goku put Akito forward to face Cell, Akito fought him to a

standstill, pushing Cell so far to the edge that Cell chose to self-destruct rather than accept defeat.

Which led to Goku sacrificing himself.

— Flashback —

Akito's thoughts: Damn it. I guess no matter how hard I trained since being reborn here, I still couldn't protect this planet. Even after watching the anime to an obnoxious level.

"Akito." Goku's voice was steady. "Don't go beating yourself up over this. You did beat Cell. Even I wasn't expecting him to blow himself up when things didn't go his way."

He paused.

"And please once this is all over, take a break. Remember to enjoy life. You've been so tense. Don't go trying to put everything on your

shoulders all the time." A quiet breath. "I'm proud of both you and Gohan."
Okay, yeah no with it being that common, it has to be a format incompatibility.

Either way, stuff to fix.

Not sure how the AI didn't fix this but:

There fixed... Not sure what he's not supposed to worry about tho. That part still makes no sense to me. I think a final part of the dialogue is missing (the part that would give that context). But I can't fix what isn't there. Only write in my own hypothetical responses.

Edit: Unfortunately, overall, the story is highly disjointed. It reads a little bit like an anecdotal history text at times, that doesn't actually wrap up all the points it makes before jumping to the next bit.

I think that as an intro it's salvageable. But you can't have it doing this endlessly, or it will be impossible to maintain even an iota of immersion.

I see this having potential, but it needs polishing. Especially in how it sometimes leaves you at a ledge, with only the resulting confusion for company.
