A lot of facts have been revealed decades later, it is very interesting. I don't know why you mention that in regards with the story in particular, but I have been following a series from the Korean War and a lot of things have changed from what was known by the public those days.Makes you wonder what history books in another 100 or so years will look like if things start to get declassified/people start compiling old war stories.
Honestly, no matter what anyone says, Ang doesn't need a master who has mastered the practical side of earthbending; he needs someone to guide his mindset. Once he achieves that, his soul will allow him to learn everything. That's why it makes sense.

Combustion man joins the gaang. HehOhoho the brother is here! And from the picture of menacingly Lin I am guessing...she is NOT gonna react well about the Dai Li.
Lin is so cute; Azula is lucky.AN: Hello guys. I'm sorry for the delay, this week was busy with a lot of work and I finished most days quite tired. I hope you can forgive me. On the bright side... I commissioned more art so yay!
This is by nissimissi and you can buy art from her in Ko-fi:

Heh, she is...
For all of Lin's maturity, being blown apart and almost dying would affect anyone mentally. Using combustion bending would remind her of what happened and her accident, making a mess in her head. That it also reminds her of her time in the war, as I'm sure artillery usage was extremely common, also messes with her head. So yes, I would say it's a mental block more than anything.Out of curiosity, I've been re-reading the latest chapters, and it seems like Lin can only use explosion bending when she's in the middle of a TPDT attack. Is it a mental block? Or is it just that she normally chooses not to use it, but forgets when she loses her mind?
Thank you for the kind words!Damn, you never miss do you? I've never seen a lukewarm chapter from you let alone bad, it's just one great chapter after another with you.
I love it when authors give Zuko time to introspect and really consider his own actions, it makes him feel so much more like the sad, angry, and lonely teenager he is. Also Raizo is a fucking riot, I love his characterization with how he clearly loves his sister and wishes her well in her campaign(I think?) yet travels with the avatar to help him in his journey. I wonder what he'll do if Lin and the gaang cross paths again, will he hide away and let them do their thing? Will he distract her so they can escape unseen?
