Your line of reasoning was a very popular trend in character bashing fics for a very long time. If you want to continue down that theorizing there is no shortage of fics out there. But they got old for me very fast and its why I pretty much never character bash. I always try to make - even the villains - have redeeming qualities and understandable motivations/tactics.

This is my first time really getting invested into the Potter Verse. My last time reading the books was 20…12? I think? And the occasional fanfic. It took me until a few weeks ago to realize that someone remarking on Harry wanting to become an auror and thus becoming a bad guy was current day politics coming from, well, Berkeley college thinkers.
 
This is great!

The additional world building details and general feeling of warmth makes this a really pleasant read so far.

Especially when it comes to Lyra's unique characterizations, making this not just a simple Draco gender swap.
