• A notice about Rule 3 regarding sites hosting pirated/unauthorized content has been made. Please see here for details.
  • Staff is working to deal with the problem of synonymous tags. See here for more information and to suggest tag mergers.
  • Due to issues with external spam filters, QQ is currently unable to send any mail to Microsoft E-mail addresses. This includes any account at live.com, hotmail.com or msn.com. Signing up to the forum with one of these addresses will result in your verification E-mail never arriving. For best results, please use a different E-mail provider for your QQ address.
  • For prospective new members, a word of warning: don't use common names like Dennis, Simon, or Kenny if you decide to create an account. Spammers have used them all before you and gotten those names flagged in the anti-spam databases. Your account registration will be rejected because of it.
  • Since it has happened MULTIPLE times now, I want to be very clear about this. You do not get to abandon an account and create a new one. You do not get to pass an account to someone else and create a new one. If you do so anyway, you will be banned for creating sockpuppets.
  • Due to the actions of particularly persistent spammers and trolls, we will be banning disposable email addresses from today onward.

Enforcement. LTFI please.

I feel that rule enforcement is too lax. In nsfw creative writing at least. In the last couple of days there's been multiple authors who have just up and quit using this site because of harassment disguised as advice ("trying to be helpful they say") and it's annoying. From "this is Ai writing!" to literally trying to backseat someone's writing.

Please MOD's lock the fuck in with the rules enforcement.

I mean this respectfully. Thanks

Being done about what? Which writers are quitting? Have any of them tried telling this "harassment disguised as advice" to shut up about it? Because in my experience, if a writer tells someone in their thread to stop being annoying about something and the other person keeps being annoying, the mods will take the writer's side.

Option 1: Report them for harassment
Result A: They get infracted
Result B: They aren't infracted, because you are wrong and it's not harassment

Option 2: Tell them to stop
Result A: They stop
Result B: If they don't stop, then that is harassment, and that will get infracted when you report it

Option 3, the forbidden option: Get a thicker skin
Result: You stop being a bitch

Nothings being done. That's the problem.

Then it's not 'harassment', it's people complaining. This isn't a hugbox, this is a forum. People can post things other than blind positivity about the story. The audience isn't here solely to suck your dick. Some people are going to complain, and they are free to do so unless it crosses the line into being an asshole.

Now, if you think that complaining crosses the line into harassment or outright being an asshole, then report them. And if they aren't dinged for it (which may take some time, because the mods are human beings with shit to do), then you are wrong.

And even in the case you are, in fact, a child who cannot handle people complaining and they didn't get dinged, you can still tell them to stop in the thread, and in that case if they don't then they are harassing you and will get infracted if you report them saying "I asked them to stop and they did not".

Go back to sufficient velocity

Mods are doing a great job, and I approve of OP not being able to stop people from posting opinions he doesn't like.
