Fic Recommendations:
7s and 2s by WaywardWriter on QQ. It's a great fic (set in X-Men Evolution, which I've never seen). The spelling and grammar is great, the story is really good (especially after you get past the first arc, though that may be due to my lacking knowledge of the canon setting), and is pretty damn original. It also has barely any Watchers for some reason. I only found it through luck and figured I'd leave this message at the bottom of my comments so others can find it too.
My Hero Apocalypse by LadyAleta (jin_roe) on AO3. It's among the best MHA fanfic I've ever found. No joke. It's criminally underrated with barely more than 100 bookmarks for some reason. It is a zombie apocalypse AU but not. It's way better than it sounds. It hasn't been updated since early 2024 sadly, but it's still well worth the read. Their other work, Accidental Successor, (another MHA fic) is also excellent, though it hasn't been updated since late 2022. Still 100/150k words of good food so check it out. You won't be disappointed.
To Carry Your Torch by SomeoneYouWontRemember on AO3. It's a Post-GM Taylor Reincarnating as a Cursed Spirit in JJK. Super good. It starts off with Taylor trying to figure out wtf is going on, then pivots to a slice-of-life arc with pre-canon Yuji. It's not yet reached the start of canon as of now (23/09/2026) but it's super good. Another really good fic by the same author is Scaly Worm, a crackish Taylor Alt-Power which is completed. Yet another, is Mom Militia, which is a bit darker but other than some creepy-cute and mental issues is primarily slice-of-life. Basically, Taylor triggers as a Ghoul from Tokyo Ghoul, ends up eating Danny, tries to kill herself by drowning herself in the Bay and ends up adopted by Miss Militia. The setting itself is also quite AU, no Scion, no Endbringers, etc.
