    I thought Darna's information network was going to locate this "burning hand" group. But that seems to have been dropped to insert the ISB douche? Especially after the attack it just seems weird that the Governor's people aren't trying as a first priority to solve this themselves.

    How much extrajudicial power does the mother have? She's not Tarkin himself, and I doubt she'd spend her capital with Tarkin to turn a successful governor into cannon fodder. Las is not just someone's son anymore, his system is contributing taxes and raw materials to the Empire.

    Politics: I'd say keep it simple. Have people vote for their local body, which then chooses a member for the next body up the ladder and so on. Expansion: Slow it down unless you have no choice.
