At this point he might as well just become a monster hunter after graduating.
Wizarding world job economy is shit for muggleborn before Hermione gets her hands on it
A good info dump of his background would have been Nice though.
The mc made a tiny mistake though.
He should have try to negociate with Sirius to leave a "Legal will" and do an Inheritance by will.
Inheritance by Will: A wizard can legally name a complete stranger, a Muggle, or a friend as their sole heir (In this case the Mc as the heir of the Blacks).
It would complete Sirius vengeance against his mother leaving the place where he was raised to him plus the money.
And Mc gets money, the title and more magic.
The guy want to be a celebrated hero, which is fair and especially an all around good aspiration if it'll end with a dead dark lord
This seems like it's going to be fun. And it's always nice to see an SI actually acknowledge the butterfly effect.
Really looking forward to future chapters, I appreciate you getting right in the thick of things by skipping the whole sorting and "discovering its actually a fictional universe"
Obviously this will be of great use in Quidditch, which will be the first thought of any of the quidditch fans he boards with.
I'm pretty sure that the magical jocks would have the rule of "No player may use their wand while on the pitch" or something else that does not address the rare edge case of wandless magic. The wandless levitation charm?
Agreed. Unless there's a rule against casting magic in the middle of a match.
Did you know there's 700 different fouls that exist in Quidditch?

Though we don't see Potter get in trouble for casting a patronus while playing.
Man... Having the mind & maturity of a child sure is rough buddy, huh?But I want to kill Voldemort. He's a turd, and he's easy pickings. Well, once I've figured out the magic. Plus all the cool gear I'd be using.
I'd look really cool, and they'd all think I look cool and everything
Man... Having the mind & maturity of a child sure is rough buddy, huh?
why does he care so much about what his slytherin classmates think of him?????. They are racist children just f ignore them.
He wants to be the hero when he barely knows how to disarm someone .
No bro I meant in the f mirror. I already know he can't completely ignore them. Why does he seek the admiration of children, isn't he a grown ass man. Also everything hapens before 7th year so becoming a hero after finishing school is useless. You know, I feel the urge to reply to you, even though I know its a bad idea.
Consider the following:
These are magical kids.
He lives with them.
They know where he sleeps. They are in his proximity 90% of the day.
And these kids are the children of death eaters, pureblood supremacists and war criminals.
Consider what these kids do to people they don't like.
Curse his underwear to catch fire when he sits down. Have a book spring teeth and try to eat him in the dormitory. Or they could just lock him in a room with a couple of loose bludgers.
In other words, even without Slytherin knowing that he's a muggle-born child, it can still be life threateningly dangerous to be on the out group.
Then imagine what happens if or when it gets out that he's a muggle-born. All the older students with significantly more magical expertise suddenly go from merely capable of ruining his time at Hogwarts or worse, the rest of his life, to being capable and willing to ruin his life.
Consider that Harry Potter is a series about a school where students progressively learn greater and more advanced magic; starting from nothing is the point. He wants to be the hero...presumably after seven years of thorough magical education.
I encourage you to take a very, very long look in the mirror before replying to my thread again.
Yes, I'm sure this theft will have no long term consequences. Nope, this can only end well.
TFTC!
Good to see the Trio doing well.. and amusing that they don't suspect the odd Snake. Understandable, given the school prejudices, but still funny.
