If you want an unconventional setting, check out the book The Stars my Destination by Alfred Bester. In that setting everyone can teleport with the power of their mind, no magic or tech gimmick needed. Only on a planetary surface, not between planets

Hey Cherico, if you're at all familiar with the setting, is there any possibility of doing a fic set in Control? It's got a heavy eldritch and conceptual background to the setting, I think you'd have fun with it

That's fair. I wasn't asking about your next fic though, I was just wondering if you were familiar with the Control setting, and could see yourself using it ever. If you're not, there's no point to me asking lol

Hello Cherico I love your stories, but I was curious how the backrooms currier 10 years thing goes? Do they get a small amount of power initially to survive the backrooms as a currier or is it like a wild hunt where they are on their own just not turned into an animal? Would you be interested in doing a story about a Steves time during it as a sort of prequal to what happens in basic and as an agent?
Hello Cherico, I am a professional lurker and I felt like coming out to say Jesus Christ loves you. I enjoyed the kingdom building aspects of your stories while I was on this site and I just wanted to wish you well as I won't be on this site as often going forward depending on circumstances. Nonetheless, your stories were entertaining to read. God bless you sir and have a great day.

Just read that buffy story. You should of had the moth man destroy Israel once and for all seeing as he was trying to destroy all the demons.

I've seen you use the d&d magic system frequently as well as well as some other systems far less frequently, would you be interested in other table top systems? I've got a bunch of the Cypher system books I'm willing to share, if so.
Hey cherico, in your fics what benefits the mc gets by completing the 10 year work contract?

30% bonus to one of the contracts they get, more in depth Company knowledge, and sometimes depending on the 10 year work contract used an early start one magic systems to set up the builds that help in Boot.

They get the 30%, more experience (which *might* come with an opportunity for various upgrades) and a second, generally lesser catalog. That last one can be pretty important, especially if you can leverage the synergies between them.

Steve is not the best at leveraging synergies.

Is your handle a play on Chirico Cuvie's name? (The protagonist of Armored Trooper VOTOMS, if you're unfamiliar.)

I think a world of warcraft fic with a WC power-ups or crusader kings 2 system kingdom building style set like 10 years or less before the ORCs invasion. there are lots of information on the setting and lots of girls and the Bad End Heroines CYOA can even be used

Have you ever considered writing fic on Warframe? I know, it's kinda niche fandom, but still would be curious to see your approach on it.
Well, that or at least incorporate it into WC power-up options.

The closest thing I ever found was donating some money to Laughter. Cherico usually spends $40 a month on that story, so getting a chapter funded quicker is as close as I've gotten to giving him money.

Where do you find the Operative side of the Slut Life things? I'm not finding anything.

If you are talking about all the stuff about recruitment, agents and Class/Company lore. He made it up, with help from a few other authors. I assume he is using the Slut Life name because it is a good name and the OG CYOA clamed to let you pick other CYOAs after you did a contract as talent.

I am not aware of any connection between the Slut Life CYOA and the "Company Verse". Beyond the poaching of ideas.

Hi Cherico, was wondering if you have a thread or an apocrypha/extras tab that gives info.om how the Company runs? The different departments and classes, agents, management etc. We see the background a lot but I don't know if you've ever detailed it completely. I know you and Leecifer use a similar if not identical setup so I was just wondering if you'd put it somewhere. If anyone could tell me please do.
Can I upload your fanfiction to YouTube as audiobook? You will be given all the credits including all links you can provide like Patreon and such

Wishing you an early happy birthday, because I probably won't be able to do so tommorrow.

Thank you for the years of excellent stories, and I hope your life and work are as rewarding to you as they are to us.
Hi Cherico, I've been a huge fan of your work for a few years now, and finally got around to reading The Thirst is Real, and was wondering where your spinoff Other Side of the Coin might be? I would love to see how your heavily autistic and blunt character would navigate Class B-ullshit and work to help out the contractors.

Sorry for to extra message but I'm limited per post; I tend to reread one of your works when I'm bored, and even ended up going through your older stuff on SV, Clockwork was fun.
