• A notice about Rule 3 regarding sites hosting pirated/unauthorized content has been made. Please see here for details.
  • Staff is working to deal with the problem of synonymous tags. See here for more information and to suggest tag mergers.
  • QQ will have forum downtime on October 21, starting at 10:00 AM Eastern time, for software updates.
  • Due to issues with external spam filters, QQ is currently unable to send any mail to Microsoft E-mail addresses. This includes any account at live.com, hotmail.com or msn.com. Signing up to the forum with one of these addresses will result in your verification E-mail never arriving. For best results, please use a different E-mail provider for your QQ address.
  • For prospective new members, a word of warning: don't use common names like Dennis, Simon, or Kenny if you decide to create an account. Spammers have used them all before you and gotten those names flagged in the anti-spam databases. Your account registration will be rejected because of it.
  • Since it has happened MULTIPLE times now, I want to be very clear about this. You do not get to abandon an account and create a new one. You do not get to pass an account to someone else and create a new one. If you do so anyway, you will be banned for creating sockpuppets.
  • Due to the actions of particularly persistent spammers and trolls, we will be banning disposable email addresses from today onward.

Is it me or is QQ loading pages really slowly lately? Is the site getting gangbanged by a botswarm and bored Ao3ers or something?

Might be. Got an error while browsing that threw up site code in my face today.

At this rate William Shatner will probably outlive the franchise damn.

We lost two to the ravages of time in one week.

There are people who paid attention to the non-transformers characters in the Bayformers movies??????

Kemonomimis are sparkling water furries and thus best enjoyed when mixed with other flavors rather than by themselves.

Also I do not enjoy summer right now.

I'm probably never going to be able to visit the fox village in Japan and I am sad about that :<

Hopelessness is manageable when it's only my own personal despair.

It gnaws away at my soul when it's the hopelessness of being completely unable to help my friends.

So many fics I need to catch up on and then my bed dies.

Not sure if bare metal frame is better or worse than floor. At least I should be able to get a proper mattress next weekend or so.

I've lived this. Put as many blankets as you can as cushioning on the floor, maybe a pillow or two under your back, and let it ride.

Do you ever wonder if maybe wild pokemon talk to each other like xianxia characters screaming about face and young masters and whatnot before fights or would that exclusively be something trained pokemon do while wild pokemon think they're weird for it?
    Alexander
    Alexander
Nah, I think both wild and trained Pokemon are a lot more direct:

    "FIGHT ME!"
    "OK!"

    All Pokemon are Shounen Protagonist-coded.

A pokemon professor sees two pikachu chittering at each other while sparking their cheeks and he wonders if perhaps they're using electrical communications alongside the noises.

And what they're actually doing is DBZ screaming at each other for like, an hour before they either get bored or start bapping each other.

I miss when I was a child and I could open my bedroom window at my house innawoods and get all the neighborhood dogs, nearby yotes, and other neighbor kids howling and making noise just cuz we can't sleep and nobody could prove it wasn't just animals doing it.
    khatun
Have you ever just wanted to scream?

Not like aegh or argh or aaa but like just open the window, chug a full liter of water, and then howl out all of your emotions loud enough to set off car alarms and wake up the entire neighborhood?

A friend introduced me to Turnip28 and I think it might be the most British wargame I have ever had the pleasure to read about.

It feels like once every couple of months I have to mass ignore ai slop threads to get to actual people writing stories and the paranoid part of me is wondering how many people don't bother to tag they're using it that slip through the cracks.

    What is your background from?

It was taken off 4chan, gimme a day or two and I should be able to find the source image from the post.

I don't recall the name but iirc it was from some doujin where a fox spirit who devours human essence and a human felon hiding from the police are living with each other and pretending to be a happy couple lol

The older I get the more my furry brain rot makes it harder for me to enjoy 90% of the things I try to read.

It's like my brain is like "This doesn't have one of my hyperfixations in it why should I care again?"

Ngl that sounds interesting. I can't vividly imagine anything because my brain can't focus on a single thing.

I can plot out entire movies in my head while my body goes on autopilot.

Trying to write them down is like pulling teeth though.

Eight entire pages of ignored threads and I'm finally finding fics that interest me on the front page and I'm wondering if perhaps I'm stupid for not doing this earlier (the answer is yes.)
    khatun
    khatun
Up to fifteen pages now jeez. I almost wish there was a way to blanket blacklist certain tags just to cut down on stories I'll never read cuz the crossover/setting doesn't interest me but coding that would probably be a bitch.
