I did dump something short and incoherent on the Spacebattles FF creative thread after thinking a bit about this conversation though- and the only person to comment did so just to spoil the twist at the end.

Thanks; it's been almost two years since i wrote anything (and that's counting idea snippets like that) and i'd forgotten how stressful it is. -_-

Eh, the stress is mostly after it's posted and i am waiting to see how badly it crashes and burns. (This is always the default assumption.) I don't really go to any smut-heavy fanfiction forums outside of this (and i am only here because SB and SV find a way to ding me anytime i post something about Naruto or Railgun) so i dunno what the audience is like out there.

This is true, and not just in the "must read more porn that isn't freaky stuff that i will never admit to" sense; i am just not that into in any series that i want to "fix" with fanfic at the moment. Dissatisfaction is my primary motivator. ^_^;

That is one i have pondered addressing a few times. Maybe i will be in the mood after i watch Railgun T, though the plot of To Aru always makes me want to tear my hair out.

Much dissatisfaction, but the setting is such an unwieldy beast that sometimes i just want to wash my hands of it.

If i try to write anything that touches their broader world outside of specific events that can be isolated just to the Railgun portion, yes. It's sort of limits me to character-focused pieces that take place before the Sisters arc. -_-;
