For prospective new members, a word of warning: don't use common names like Dennis, Simon, or Kenny if you decide to create an account. Spammers have used them all before you and gotten those names flagged in the anti-spam databases. Your account registration will be rejected because of it.
Since it has happened MULTIPLE times now, I want to be very clear about this. You do not get to abandon an account and create a new one. You do not get to pass an account to someone else and create a new one. If you do so anyway, you will be banned for creating sockpuppets.
Due to the actions of particularly persistent spammers and trolls, we will be banning disposable email addresses from today onward.

I'm thinking an ex Root member, with Danzo and root in general representing how Boruto's world view can lead to some very fucked up evil's if taken to their logical extremes, who's because of their experiences have gone full warrior of peace from it. With him assassinating and just doing all kinds of terrorist activities to anyone or any nation that opposes naruto's peace plans.
With his big rebuttal to Boruto being, yeah things aren't perfect and today's peace is tenuous at best and requires a bunch of compromises that nobody is happy with. But Boruto is spoiled. He grew up in a world where eight years old aren't forced to kill each other to survive. He's a rich kid with the strongest dad on the planet and a support system that can be summoned up with the word nepotism.
Having a antagonist who is pro his father is a great idea. Where as Boruto I think okay so first. Root. Root I feel exists to have bad and good ninja. When in fact all Ninja are murderous mercs. That brings me to my thought is the difference between Root and proper ninja is squad of soldiers vs elite shinobi warrior if non Root?
Yet he wants to bring back the war and nationalism? Without even having killed anyone yet? Without seeing half his family mauled in front of him? And Boruto wants to call himself a leader or say that his goals are noble? For a root agent who's lost everything over and over again, and been indoctrinated to literally kill himself for the mission, he'll despise Boruto. He'll see him as a boy pretending to be a man.
For root Ninja's as a whole, most of them are better trained than your average Chunin, especially in counter intelligence and stealth, Plus thanks to some human experimentation and very brutal training a lot of them are pretty hardy and can take a lot more of a beating than their rank might imply. But a big limiting factor is that Danzo did all of this under the table.
So any extraordinary prodigy or clan kid, he's not going to be able to recruit them or kidnap them without bringing down a lot of heat and attention to him. So while overall Root Ninja's are better trained and equipped than their Konha counterparts, they lack a lot of heavy hitters and speciality Jonin's like Anko or Kakashi.
But this is Boruto's time and Root is gone now. Just a few of the survivors instead of quietly retiring, were radicalized by their experience and especially how Naruto saved them and was a huge part of their rehabilitation. With Naruto feeling very guilty about never being able to reveal the truth about the uchiha slaughter for political reasons, trying to pay it back by focusing really hard on Root survivors.
But, I do think you need something bigger than Naruto's power to act as a stick for why the Ninja's will go with this peace thing. I mean the first Hokage was the strongest Ninja ever too and he wasn't able to stop the cycle of violence. Plus a terrorist group built off of rejecting the teachings of Danzo and loving Naruto like a patron saint make for a wonderfully complex villain.
I know it's a meme, but Naruto's talk-no-jutsu is no joke. Given some maturity, proper training, and a little ruthlessness or fanaticism, and he would be one of the greatest politician/cult leader on the planet.
Interesting. While Boruto, well first off I really like the idea he strongly identifies with his mom and her clan's traditions. There is not enough Hygua in him and too much Naruto for his jutsu
I do like the idea of grandpa Hyuga, recognizing how much he screwed up his daughters and wanting to have a normal/healthy relationship with his grandkids to try and make up for that as a second chance.
