A red star bathing in the rime of moonlight.
And thine eyes were of want and wonder and will. Of shall and now and must. And not one utterance whimsical came when thou chose Tower of White and Gold to house thy Voice. And thou spoke of a world under thy will and so named it Freedom. Passion-Moth guided, braziers of Vulpine Ancestors lit: so foretold the reigns of hist'ry back in the hands of Man.
Yet thy blood is not of man! Say! Time, seated on Throne Immortal! And thy breath: the impetus of duration, like death on a mirror, watching me watching thee back. And like fire, thou spread over this Starry-Heart. Devouring, Destroying, Mastering all that stood in thy path 'til it was neither new nor old, but an occurrence that was both then and then to come. The pulse of the world spurning thee on, in thy blood and in thy dreams, whispering to thee in scaled-maned tongues: power for the sake of power! And I surmise a Dragon's thoughts are bound to perchance.
Is that why thou looks to the east? In anticipation of a rising Dawn long gone? Or of Snake-Wraiths to come sing prophecies of Lasts and Firsts? Tell me, what madness found thee in the passing of the Twilight? Was it the arms of chilled First Night who gave thee passage secure through royal seas beyond mortal skies?
Anon anon anon Auri-El, Lord of Mundex Arena! Why didst thou forsake me? I climb thy Tower with thy babe in arms, and I see golden threads spooled from thine breath to be woven in one, great, red lineage. This is the tapestry thou hast spun from me. So let this music be heard, across distant stars and all bending lights.
