• A notice about Rule 3 regarding sites hosting pirated/unauthorized content has been made. Please see here for details.
  • Staff is working to deal with the problem of synonymous tags. See here for more information and to suggest tag mergers.
  • QQ will have forum downtime on October 21, starting at 10:00 AM Eastern time, for software updates.
  • Due to issues with external spam filters, QQ is currently unable to send any mail to Microsoft E-mail addresses. This includes any account at live.com, hotmail.com or msn.com. Signing up to the forum with one of these addresses will result in your verification E-mail never arriving. For best results, please use a different E-mail provider for your QQ address.
  • For prospective new members, a word of warning: don't use common names like Dennis, Simon, or Kenny if you decide to create an account. Spammers have used them all before you and gotten those names flagged in the anti-spam databases. Your account registration will be rejected because of it.
  • Since it has happened MULTIPLE times now, I want to be very clear about this. You do not get to abandon an account and create a new one. You do not get to pass an account to someone else and create a new one. If you do so anyway, you will be banned for creating sockpuppets.
  • Due to the actions of particularly persistent spammers and trolls, we will be banning disposable email addresses from today onward.

AO3 Borked

This would permanently damage most sites but the internet has deteriorated into such a pearl clutching daycare it'll essentially be less than a blip.

Not many. Or at least they're not gonna stay.

Why not? We have far less restrictions compared to our sister websites.

Hopefully it'd be 90+ % stuff that straight up wouldn't fly anywhere else. Gotta keep the easily scandalised out especially out of moderation. 😅😅😅
Like full on proship depravity. Can't have the newbies try to sand the edges off the place.

I was hit with the AO3 notif about it being dead for a bit, but rhen I saw a rushed YT video about it taking two to four whole ass weeks and now I find QQ talking about it too lmao

Ah well, all the more reason to read through my QQ backlog.

AO3 had a security issue, they have to do a long investigation to see how far the intrusion got.

I suspect QQ will see a rush. A lot of lewd writers don't have any other good options. Ff.net has gotten a lot worse for lewd authors in general and has always purged slash content. Royalroad has hidden guidelines on what lewd stories can be posted. The other ones I know of are niche and not good for getting feedback.

...Just get ready for some more slash and mpreg...

Huh? I didn't know it was going to take 4 weeks!

That's like a month and a half or something!

😱‼️
