    Ivalice, a land of stories and legends. It has its fair share of stories, tales of rising clans that battled away the darkness and fought monsters to write their names on the land. It is a world far different from the one that we know, with new races, locations, from high mountains to dark caves, from volcanoes to the tundra. No matter what one might expect, Ivalice will always stand through history.

    This story....is not about Ivalice.

    Instead, this story is about the land of Eorzea, one which has been ruled as a single kingdom for as long as anyone can remember. It has the same geographical diversity as Ivalice, from tundra in the south to more moderate climate in the north, with the same races as well. Indeed, commerce does exist between Eorzea and Ivalice, though it is relatively limited due to the danger of the journey. They even hold to the same system of Laws and Clans, like Ivalice.

    The land of Eorzea is under the domain of the Kingdom of Alenard, which has stood for hundreds of years. It has stood in a time of wealth and prosperity, the frontiers quiet. The economy flows as Clains hold a dominant influence, doing jobs and services, fighting monsters, clearing the wilderness, and playing an integral role, while the government busies itself with the enforcement of laws.

    Recently, King Alaric II passed away in his sleep, allowing his son to ascend to the throne. Yet for all the glad tidings that come with it, this is not necessarily a good thing. King Alaric III is young, ambitious, seeking to write his place in legend and in history. How he will do that is still a mystery, yet rumors say that his gaze has, for lack of external foes, begun to drift to the internal disunity of his kingdom.

    Meanwhile, the Red Wings clan, previously a scourge upon the realm, has at last been removed, banished across the sea to never be seen again. With them gone, new Clans have risen up to fill the void they left. Whether this will come out to good in the end remains to be seen.

    But those are things to worry about in the future. For now, life goes on. Adventurers join Clans, working for common interest and striking out to make a profit, to write their legend on the history of the land, and to accomplish their own goals. Whether it be for good or evil though, that is up to them.




    Locations of Interest:

    -Ishgard: The capital of the Kingdom of Alendard, Ishgard is a bustling city, home to all the races and a significant economy. It is located on the plains, near the center of the kingdom.
    -Kiskarl Mountains: Home to the former capital of the Kingdom, this mountain range runs along the southwest of the nation, and sport significant mineral resources, though they are also home to many monsters.
    -Ul'dah: Located in the Sondiq deserts, Ul'dah is a hub for those seeking to cross the desert, and sports a significant Bangaa population. Nonetheless it is known for its wealth, affluence, and various fighting related forms of entertainment.
    -Vystrain Forest: a sprawling expanse of wood, the Vystrain Forest and the cities within are the home of the Viera in the Kingdom. They stand in more seclusion, and generally have more autonomy due to their aloof nature. Nonetheless, they are still members of the Kingdom, since it provides more benefits than it does negatives.
    -Walse: A major port on the northern coast of Eorzea, it is from here that one would travel to Ivalice if they wanted to make the journey. Home to more than its bit of lawlessness, it nonetheless sees a lot of travel and trade.




    Your character has found themselves, whether simply waking up one morning or via some other event in the land of Eorzea. Whether they have their memory or not, what you do is up to you. Will you fight to return home, or accept the world for what it is, and all that it has to offer? Or will you carve your own path, and change the destiny of this world forever.

    The Races:

    Humes: Also known as Humans, the Humes are the most versatile race in Eorzas. While not particularly good at any one thing, they are overall balanced, qualifying them for a wide range of jobs, which they can use fairly effectively, though they may be outmatched by the more specialized races. They can reside in a myriad of climates, and are the ones who make up a significant portion of the Kingdoms administration.

    Nu Mou: The Nu Mou tend to have caninelike features, and are a very long lives species. They are very skilled at magic, and in turn are fairly weak at melee combat. This means that they are best suited for jobs that can take advantage of their magical skills, supporting allies from the rear. They tend to dwell near mountains and are a more isolated race, though they will not entirely shun outsiders.

    Viera: The Viera have leporine traits, and are known for their beauty as well as their speed. The Viera are a divided species, with males and females living in separate communities deep within the forest. They are well suited to jobs that involve speed and agility, though they are versatile in other jobs as well. Noticeably, they also have the ability to communicate with the spirit world, granting them access to abilities that the other races lack.

    Moogles: The moogles are a small species bearing rabbit-like traits. Due to their size they tend to be best suited for jobs that gear towards dexterity and engineering, though they are by no means inadequate at melee and magic related jobs. They tend to gravitate towards humes, and have no real preference in terms of terrain or climate. They are inordinately proud of their poms.

    Bangaa: Bangaa are a strong race, sporting mainly reptilian features. They are the most physically capable of all the races, and are well suited to jobs that involve brute force. Conversely, they have difficulty spellcasting, though they aren't completely incapable of doing so. They tend to dwell in hot areas, and are one of the races most integrated with humes, in spite of the racial tension on both sides.

    Jobs: Each character must have a job, which indicates their particular area of expertise. There are several jobs amongst each race that can be done by anyone, while there are others which require more skill. Jobs can be changed, but characters will be less effective in those without significant experience

    If you do not fit into one particular race, just go with the one closest to your species. Here's a helpful list if you don't know the Jobs in FFTA, and what they do.

    Skills: Skills are abilities that one gains from their particular jobs, usually via experience. They can be transferred between jobs. Most of the time these will be geared for combat, and you start with two of them. Custom skills will be accepted pending my approval, and otherwise here's a list of skills in the game that you can draw on.

    OCs and crossovers are allowed, though I reserve the right to nerf and buff as I see fit. Respect general courtesy, don't do anything too crazy, and have a good time.

    She does not have a very proactive personality, save for cases where magic is concerned. If her divinations predict that an earthquake could threaten her library, she would storm heaven to stop it, ending a streak of nearly a century spent living in said library reading.

    Patchouli is in many ways a traditionalist magus, guarding her secrets jealously and sharing with as few as possible. The key here is, again, knowledge. To learn is her ambition, to understand is her purpose. When all the secrets of magic lay bare, she will be satisfied briefly, before turning to another field leaving behind shelves of notes.
    Perhaps somewhere in the numerous shelves of Voile there lies an autobiography. Perhaps if one were to ask her friends, one might get a story.

    Short of looking in a library not in this world, or asking people who did not come with her, one is left with little but an enigma bearing an assumed name. Patchouli guards her secrets well, and it would take someone of great skill to learn those secrets from her.

    She wants to be a hero, but she knows where that path will eventually lead her, so instead of giving her all to save others she puts her own well-being an happiness first and doing the hero job second.

    Bio:
    The only daughter of Kiritsugu Emiya. She won the 5th holy grail war and lived her life as a hero of justice. She has already made a pact with the world, and in an unforeseen turn of events she was transported to Eorzea.

    Frankly, having amnesia affects one's actions rather heavily. She doesn't really have any goals right now, other than to regain her memories. And she's quite likely to latch onto anyone she feels she can really connect with. Woe betide those who'd hurt someone she grows to care about.

    It hasn't affected her sense of justice, though. If something isn't fair, then it can't be allowed to continue. She's the kind of person that'd take a job pro bono if she really thought they couldn't afford to pay. Though if they weren't obvious about it, they'd probably have to approach her. She's rather shy, and initiating social contact with strangers isn't really something she'd do normally.
    Raised in a traditional forest village of the viera, Noi was at home in the trees practically from birth, more comfortable relaxing in the canopy at ten than most adventurers ever become. Her days were split between learning standard school things, how to hear the forest, and, once she was old enough, regular Viera training in defending the forest. She, personally, liked using the bow, and got very good at it very quickly, advancing to Sniper, then Assassin. Not exactly a prodigy, but definitely better than most. Still, she felt at home in the forest, she was good with a bow, but...

    Why was it that she felt as she did when she went into town for supplies? The air was dirty compared to the forest, there were so many people it made her uneasy, but... Still, it was exciting. The first time she came in, she spent a lot more time than necessary just... taking it in. Before that, she'd spent most of her free time in the upper canopy, playing with her flute in time to the voice of the forest or reading a book. After? She started exploring past the forest, into the surrounding area. None felt so right, but all felt new, and that was a thrill.

    So, she left the village, to see more. There was no angry words, no arguments. This wasn't exactly a rare occurrence, after all. Young viera leave to journey outside the forest fairly often; it's a large reason why there are a decent number of viera in society and why forest viera villages are so small. Exploring the world was nice, and eventually she decided to join a Guild. But unfortunately, an accident happened. On the day people from another world arrived an the city she was visiting, the magical energy of their passing affected her. The unconsciousness was temporart; the amnesia was much less so.

    Of course, this is all backstory. In truth, she was created a few months ago, when Mewt made the world. Converting citizens to inhabitants only does so much, after all. Ivalice was not a very large town, and doesn't have enough citizens to fill continents. So those like Noi were created, background NPCs in another land to make the prince's world more real, even if it wasn't. Of course, as a part of this fantasy world, she's a fantasy herself, and doomed to fade away. Even if Mewt doesn't end it himself, it'll end when he dies, and that'd be long before she'd die of old age as a Viera.

    Personality: Ansem is a creature of darkness that lacks a heart. Essentially, he is a heartless man that would take advantage of others to further his own goals. At the core of his very being, Ansem is a scientist. He reveres knowledge and power above all else, and absolutely loathes ignorance. However, his pride and obsession with Darkness blind him from accepting any 'truths' other than the ones he had created for himself.
    Bio: Where do I even begin on this guy?

    Let's just go with the shortest version possible and get this over with.

    There was once an old Keyblade Master by the name of Xehanort, who had an obsession with Darkness. In order to achieve his dream of reaching Kingdom Hearts, Keyblade Master Xehanort hatched out a grand and convoluted scheme that would engulfed multiple Worlds. However, the old Master was still a man, his life was coming to a close. So in an effort to carry out his plans and live to the end of it, old Xehanort sought out a younger body to host his Heart. With that phrase of the plan completed, Xehanort's scheme was coming to fruition.

    Some time has passed, and Xehanort was ready to carry the next stage of his grand plan. Plunging his Keyblade into his self, this process created the Heartless Ansem, Seeker of Darkness, and the Nobody (the shell that is left behind when a Heart is turned to Darkness) Xemnas. Each incarnation of Xehanort would went their separate ways and carried on Xehanort's will. To gather Thirteen Darkness and Seven Light, and then have clashed with each other to forge the X-Blade, a way to Kingdom Hearts.

    The Heartless Ansem sieged multiple worlds with his army of Heartless. Worlds were lost in Darkness, hearts were harvested for Xehanort's wish. The futures of the worlds were bleak, darkness was as far as the eyes can see. That is, until a young Keyblade wielder and his friends stopped Ansem on his track.

    On the climax of their final battle, the Gate to Kingdom Hearts revealed itself to the Keyblade wielder and Seeker of Darkness. Confident that Kingdom Hearts was Darkness itself, Ansem reached out to it, praying for its power. However, instead of glorious Darkness, Light poured out of the Gate, seemingly destroying the Heartless Ansem.

    However, something happened, and now the Seeker of Darkness has ended up on Eorzea. Well, this wasn't part of the plan, but it can be salvaged. All Ansem needed was time and hope.

    Skills:
    1) Xehanort's Guardian (Extremely weakened) - What once a fearsome, muscular shadow entity, it is now reduced to just a pair of arms and a head. Every time Ansem attacks something, the Guardian will follow suit and attack Ansem's target. It has lost much of its abilities and is now reduced to a third-rate follow up act.

    2) Power of Darkness - Ansem is able to shape and manipulate darkness to attack his enemies or use the Corridor of Darkness. The ability to steal others' Hearts has been sealed by a force beyond the Seeker's imagination.

    • Corridors of Darkness - The pathway that connect various worlds together. It is a dangerous path that would turn the weak-minded or unprotected into the Darkness. Due to the Powers That Be, Ansem's Corridors are limited to the world that he is on and the range is greatly shortened. Basically, this is Ansem's very own teleportation spell.
    • Disk of Darkness - A thin, sharp disk of darkness that is thrown at an enemy to deal damage. It functions as a single target spell.

    Weapon: Soul Eater - A falchion-esque sword, with a red, purple and blue blade shaped like a demonic wing. Its handle bears an eye of darkness, and the handle itself consists of dark braids. It grants the abilities: Striker, Grand Slam, and Critical Boost

    Other: Should both Xemnas and Ansem die, they will recombine into Terranort who will be controlled by Bandresnatch and Xehanort.

    I just had an interesting idea for a character. If I fail my will save, I might make a serious submission, but otherwise it could make for an interesting npc, antagonist or whatever.

    The central idea for it is this: a man with a false past who was conjured from whole cloth by the grimoire that transformed the world, much like Noi, who accidentally caught enough of a glimpse during worldgen to realise that the world was not really real, and that he was in truth no more than a transient simulacrum.

    He was more than a touch cheesed off when he figured that out. I'm thinking he'd be a Blue mage, because hey, if you are going to be enduring the stings and arrows of outrageous fortune anyway, you might as well get paid for it in nifty powers.

    According to whatever wrote his memories, Maxell was born and raised in a regional town until his burgeoning aptitude for magic revealed itself, and he was apprenticed to his uncle, a black mage. After completing his training, he joined a clan, and further honed his skills, learning a little white magic from a healer friend. The only thing is, everything up until a few months into his clan career was a lot of bollocks, as he discovered by accident as he was being created. He was none too pleased to learn that he was not really real, and has been quietly angry at whatever made him for making him awry. Knowing he would be taken for a madman, he did not tell anyone about it. His studies into esoteric magic in a search for answers led him to take up Blue magic, partly out of a hope that learning the natural magic of the world might possibly give him a clue, and partly because it is exceedingly rad. He was deeply unsettled by the fact that all of his history with his alleged family and friends never actually happened, and soon found himself making his excuses and leaving the clan. Severing ties with a past he knew was false, he began searching for a new clan, and new friends, whose friendship he could be reasonably confident was more real than him.
    Maxell is a little reserved, but reasonably friendly, prone to getting lost in thought, and not overly eager to talk about himself. prior to his creation, he 'fought' for his friends and to exercise his arts for the most part, seldom motivated by any real desire to help people, save in the most affecting cases. Nothing has essentially changed about his character since, but he has no friends to fight for at present and is much more inclined to help apparent crackpots, just in case.

    1)Space-time manipulation- Once, his power over time is such is that he can manipulate the flow of battle, performing such feats as slowing his opponent or reversing the flow of time to regenerate health and time travel, since arriving at Eorzea, he was weakened to performing the weakest of time magic. Currently he is limited to the following time spells: Haste, Slow, Stop.
    2) Power of Darkness- Unlike his heartless he is only limited to the corridors of darkness and it was weakened even further to the point he is unable to use it to get out of this world and the range is greatly shortened. Basically his teleport spell
    3) Magic- Like his other abilities this was weakened. List of spells:
    1. Magic Bullet: He fires several magic bullets towards a target/multiple targets. Single Target/Multi Target
    2. Fire Manipulation: He can use the three tiers of Fire.
    3. Ice Manipulation: He is can use the three tiers of Blizzard
    4. Telekinesis: He can push enemies back with the use of a invisible magic blast at point blank range.

    Weapon: Ethereal Blades-Glowing Short Blades with hilts, can be combined to make a dual blade and can be turned into a whip ,Grants Speed Boost, Combo Master, Critical Boost

    Being the founder of Organization XIII and apparently the oldest of Nobodies, Xemnas is truly emotionless—in every sense of the word—and does not even remember what it was like to have any feelings. He claimed that this allowed him to have a clear understanding of the heart, but, in reality, this had warped his mind into believing that only anger, hatred, and other negative emotions were what make up most of a heart.

    His lack of emotion deprives him of remorse for his actions, as well as the loss of the other members of the Organization. The only thing he truly cared about was Kingdom Hearts and his desire for power, and even lamented it when it was damaged. However, on some occasions, he had appeared to value friendship, as he was shown to converse with the armor of Aqua in the Chamber of Repose, although, this is likely due to the influence of Terra, as he is, in a sense, Terra's Nobody.

    Unlike the other members of the Organization, Xemnas did not seem to want Kingdom Hearts for a true existence. Rather, much like his Heartless counterpart, he wanted it to use it to obtain power and remake the universe in his image. This concept was furthered as Xemnas thought that Nothingness was the source of much power, and does not seem to despise it in the slightest. This goal stemmed from that of one of his two original personas, Master Xehanort, whom also desired to unlock Kingdom Hearts for the same purpose.

    In other matters Xemnas spoke with calmness and deep authority. He had a tendency to be overly melodramatic, making long-winded speeches, exaggerating his false rage and sorrow with wide sweeping arm movements and hand gestures, like many villains. While ridiculous in nature, his exaggerations were representations of his lack of emotion. He was very intelligent, overall, and knew how to manipulate others, particularly Sora and his friends for his own needs.

    Xemnas's personality seemed to share traits from both beings who composed his original persona, Master Xehanort and Terra. From the former he inherited his manipulative nature and the ideas for the black coat and adding the letter "χ" to rename himself and his fellow Organization members. It is very hard to say how much he inherited from Terra, but there is at least the familiarity with Aqua's armor, to which he refers to as "friend", and his strong desire to find his other "friend" in Castle Oblivion, as he has had Saïx search for the Chamber he sleeps in. Another example was when Roxas fell into a comatose state, saying: "So, sleep has taken you again".

    There was once an old Keyblade Master by the name of Xehanort, who had an obsession with Darkness. In order to achieve his dream of reaching Kingdom Hearts, Keyblade Master Xehanort hatched out a grand and convoluted scheme that would engulfed multiple Worlds. However, the old Master was still a man, his life was coming to a close. So in an effort to carry out his plans and live to the end of it, old Xehanort sought out a younger body to host his Heart. With that phrase of the plan completed, Xehanort's scheme was coming to fruition.

    Some time has passed, and Xehanort was ready to carry the next stage of his grand plan. Plunging his Keyblade into his self, this process created the Heartless Ansem, Seeker of Darkness, and the Nobody (the shell that is left behind when a Heart is turned to Darkness) Xemnas. Each incarnation of Xehanort would went their separate ways and carried on Xehanort's will. To gather Thirteen Darkness and Seven Light, and then have clashed with each other to forge the X-Blade, a way to Kingdom Hearts.

    The Nobody Xemnas infiltrated multiple worlds with his army of Nobodies. Worlds were plagued by the denizens of Darkness, hearts were harvested for Xehanort's wish. The futures of the worlds were bleak, darkness was as far as the eyes can see. That is, until the same young Keyblade wielder and his friends that had defeated Ansem stopped Xemnas in his tracks by systematically eliminating his Organization members.

    On the climax of their final battle, Xemnas became one with the Kingdom Hearts they had built and then powered up further by becoming the vessel for the power of the Realm of Nothingness. However, by the intervention of that bothersome Riku victory was snatched away from him and he faded into Nothingness.

    However, something happened, and now the severely weakened Superior of the Inbetween has ended up on Eorzea. Well, this wasn't part of the plan, but it can be salvaged. All Ansem needed was time and hope.

    Skills: Melee attacks with Interdiction;
    Firing Interdiction as a ranged attack (can end up being a GoB like attack once power has been restored);
    Thunder magic up to -ra tier;
    Power of Darkness: Unlike his heartless, Xemnas was never all that well versed in the Darkness and only used it for teleportation and flight. (The teleportation can be deployed as a standard portal or as a Corridor of Darkness.)
    Weapon: Ethereal Blades; Interdiction (Counts as both a sabre and a rod)
    Other: Xemnas is a Nobody, and thus doesn't actually exist. This can lead to metaphysical complications should something try to erase him.
    Should both Xemnas and Ansem die, they will recombine into Terranort who will be controlled by Bondo and I.

    Chose not to put the Nothingness related powers on there yet, because those are his endgame skills.

    Personality: A young girl often bored of her routine, after being transported to Eorzea she longs to return home after feeling the chaos of the land on her skin, quiet and solemn she charges after her goal with a spirit she never had before. Bad at socializing, often power trips if someone is not there to mind her but overall a kind person who ended in a situation much larger than her, she's fond of playing with children and telling stories/myths of her own world, easily overwhelmed by charismatic figures but has a will that might become unbreakable one day if grown under the right conditions

    Bio: A common girl studying at a common school desiring more from her common life, the embodiment of Careful for what you wish for. She was looking at a old modified gun in her Father's Pawn Shop when the transfer happened, with full memories of her World and stuck in the dangerous this New Dangerous World she is doing her best to adapt, become stronger and return home, but with a body much stronger than before and dreams of Gigantic beings making battle....will she lose herself in this storm of power?

    Personality: A self-centred man unconcerned with the how of arriving in a new world. Lacks any sort of kingly deposition whatsoever from someone who calls himself King of Heroes. Indeed, he seems more concerned with proving his strength and having a good adventure then ruling in any sort of capacity. Really, he seems to adore the idea of clan conflict, and seems almost annoyed at himself that he didn't come up with the idea himself. Has an alarming habit of declaring powerful people his rival.

    Bio: The King of Uruk and man's oldest hero. In many ways, he can be said to be a King that man needed to be saved from; despite spitting in the face of the gods, his love of challenge, adventure and excess made him almost as bad in the eyes of the common people. However, with the guidance of his only friend, Enkidu, he became a worthy king for the people.

    However, Enkidu was stolen from Gilgamesh in a cruel twist of fate. In response, Gilgamesh cursed the gods and sought immortality. It was only at the end of a long journey that he realised that he had no need of immortality.

    For Gilgamesh, Eorzea is a final dream on his road to leaving the world and joining Enkidu in the next world, having left behind the world to advance behind him. Indeed, it was time for one last, great adventure.

    His secret wish is that his friend could be here walking this final road with him.

    Description: Unique job possessed by the first Hero of humanity. Utilises twin swords and an arsenal of weapons that can only be described as excessive and wasteful.

    Action Ability: Bab-Ilu
    Functionally identical to the combined ability lists of the Throw and Item Commands available to Ninja and Chemist in Final Fantasy Tactics. Additionally, the passive ability Double Throw can be learned. Possesses a unique, final ability called Enki: The Star of Destruction, which is functionally identical to a Totema summon, dealing super Water type damage to all targets on the battlefield without discrimination, only excepting Gilgamesh himself. Due to possession of Enki, the Totema command is not available at all.

    Swordplay
    The sword skills of the Rune Knight are available to Gilgamesh.

    Skills: King of Heroes has an inherent Dual-Wield to the class. The class King of Heroes can learn a skill called Retrieval, which induces a percentage chance to recover a weapon thrown, and like a chemist, the class can learn to throw healing items.
    Weapon: Enki – Unique twin swords that can become a bow. Attack power is proportionate to Gilgamesh's level.
    Other: Possesses passive skill Golden Rule, which raises the drop rate of gil and items proportionate to Gilgamesh's level.

    A cheerful and upbeat boy that was recently struck by tragedy and existential revelations that made him doubt his own existence. Now, he is struggling to define who and what he is, while trying to remain the same person. Deeply conflicted, and depressed.
    Bio: A Nobody of the Organization XIII, despite never truly understanding what that meant beyond the creation of Kingdom Hearts. He was sent out on missions on many worlds capturing hearts with a keyblade he believed his own. His friends Axel and Xion kept him company in the Twilit Days, and time passed. Xion grew strong, while Roxas grew weak, until eventually he was no longer able to summon the Keyblade. He eventually confronted Xion, only to discover that she was no longer herself, and that they were both part of a boy named 'Sora', tools created for another man's dream. He defeated her, and took up her keyblade in anger and despair, wanting to find the truth. His actions thereafter led to him casting himself into the void between worlds, drifting with shattered memories and a deep self-loathing. He wants, above all else, to live, for reasons he cannot remember or comprehend.

    To describe Fremy in four words, calm, levelheaded, distant, and mistrustful, due to meeting a number of less than than kind individuals growing up, she has only been a wanderer for most of her life and so she’s socially awkward.

    She is uncaring of her disfigurement, a amber yellow beatial eye, and rough ridges with a small horn, hidden by her attire. Because of her awkward social experiences, she would rather shoot a potential enemy than ally with a potential friend, she’s numb to the world around her because of this mindset she has to adapt.

    She was never really accepted in her village where she grew up, because of her blend of inhuman nature of her face she was excluded from other groups. Earning enough money, she took the first carriage out, learning what she could do with a stolen rifle taken from the guards, and perfecting her aim on the road. She would even experiment with more, volatile weapons, if she needed something with a little less precision.
