  • Due to issues with external spam filters, QQ is currently unable to send any mail to Microsoft E-mail addresses. This includes any account at live.com, hotmail.com or msn.com. Signing up to the forum with one of these addresses will result in your verification E-mail never arriving. For best results, please use a different E-mail provider for your QQ address.
  • For prospective new members, a word of warning: don't use common names like Dennis, Simon, or Kenny if you decide to create an account. Spammers have used them all before you and gotten those names flagged in the anti-spam databases. Your account registration will be rejected because of it.
  • Since it has happened MULTIPLE times now, I want to be very clear about this. You do not get to abandon an account and create a new one. You do not get to pass an account to someone else and create a new one. If you do so anyway, you will be banned for creating sockpuppets.
  • Due to the actions of particularly persistent spammers and trolls, we will be banning disposable email addresses from today onward.

Easier ability to link to posts in reader mode

Currently, if you are viewing a thread in reader mode, there is no obvious way to link directly to a post in the reader-mode thread, because all the links go to the normal thread rather than to the reader-mode thread. For example: In this reader-mode thread, if you want to save a link to the top of chapter 4.2, clicking "Feb 2, 2026", clicking the share button, clicking the bookmark button, and clicking "#362" all give you this non-reader-mode link, while clicking "view content" gives this slightly different link that leads to the same non-reader-mode destination.

However, if you open up DevTools and look at the HTML, it is obvious that a reader-mode-preserving link already exists! There just isn't any button exposing it to the user. It would be convenient if there were a way for a reader to get this link without having to look at the HTML.

Workaround: if you leave reader mode, at the bottom of the threadmarked post is a link to reader mode at the next threadmark.
