I have a few fic ideas about the Castlevania series that I'd like to share, but I was unable to find the specific thread for it. I was minutes away from creating one myself before I found the MetroidVania thread, which apparently used to be a thread for just Castlevania and Bloodstained before the OP decided to expand the scope to the entire genre because the thread wasn't very active. I understand the OP's reasoning for the scope expansion, but Samus is one of the most iconic heroines in gaming and the Metroidvania thread now functions as a Metroid thread that occasionally gets interrupted by posts from other series.

Would it be okay if I created a new thread for Castlevania and Bloodstained? I'd be more comfortable discussing my ideas in a more focused thread, even if it's less active (though with a new game coming out next month, I think there will be a bit more activity.) And I don't want the people who go to that thread to goon over Samus to feel disrupted by the discussion and lore of an entirely different series. I can't find any rule against creating a new thread for a series that technically already has one, but I also don't want to commit a total faux pas by creating one if doing so would be rude.
