Because they aren't being tricked. Those governments, businesses, and media companies have set themselves up so that there is no alternative for their services. If you want what they have at all, you need to go through or work with them.

The bread might be moldy and full of toxins nowadays, but The Powers That Be have gotten really, REALLY good at providing circuses for the common populace. Why bother revolting when you can just hang out on your couch and watch Love Island, DoorDash yourself a pizza, light up a joint, and relax?
 
Didn't Wikipedia use to have a "longest works of fiction" page, or something very similar? I'm guessing they abandoned it due to sprawling fanfics and web novels, but does anybody know the details?

eh, BearCats are actually really unimpressive equipment its one of those things where its a line item in a budget and its the American truck equivalent of Dubai having Lamborghini it is a status symbol more than a practical tool. It is designed to look impressive. Its messaging and posturing and the cupola mount basically never carries anything anyway [for most departments]
 
LAPD and SFPD are two departments where they load it, but the thing is fucking scary.

When I was in school, yes, pizza on fridays was normal. Chocolate Milk was a thing with breakfast in elementary I want to say, there was also yoo-hoo which is a chocolate drink in the machines middle school and high school for lunch / whenever you could get to the machines...

It's "pizza" only by name, it's really more of a shitty flatbread with some really thin tomato sauce, pre-shredded cheese and some little pepperonis. Chocolate milk is also usually offered alongside regular milk options, yes.

Now, the real question, what kind of awful anti-American ragebait are you trying to set up right now?

Notably is also once a week on Pizza Party Fridays and offered alongside other options. It's not like kids are assembly line marched into a room with the option of Pizza, or death/
 
For future reference, do we have a cheat-sheet anywhere for uploading images and media from specific websites?

The only thing I know is replacing "static" with "vignette" for wiki images and I half remember someone mentioning adding something into an X/Twitter link for (usually nsfw)posts.

And I wonder if there's anything similar for Pixiv so I don't have to upload a copy to an image-host-site for the sake of convenience.

For Twitter, you should be able to link the images directly just as you would elsewhere -- right-click and "Copy image link" then paste it into an [img]...[/img] block

I recall on Discord being told to add "fixup" in front of the "x" for Twitter links; no idea if that's a Discord-only thing though.

I just had LASIK done Friday. It's going pretty great so far.

My night vision is about the same or slightly better, I think. There might be a bit more eye fatigue? But, I'm not entirely sure on that since I could just be tired from working.

Overall, I am very satisfied with the procedure. My vision is at least on par with my previous when wearing glasses. Dry eye hasn't been an issue though I have been consistent on using the eyedrops, medicated and non-preservative.

After having read some of LASIK horror stories, I've been very fortunate. It's still within the first week so there is potential for that to change however it's a promising start.
 
Are we allowed to make a thread to ask opinions on what setting i should make a Quest in (Recently started a Worm Quest but want to get practice writing in other settings as well)

If so, where would we do that?
