  • QQ will have forum downtime on October 21, starting at 10:00 AM Eastern time, for software updates.
  • Due to issues with external spam filters, QQ is currently unable to send any mail to Microsoft E-mail addresses. This includes any account at live.com, hotmail.com or msn.com. Signing up to the forum with one of these addresses will result in your verification E-mail never arriving. For best results, please use a different E-mail provider for your QQ address.
  • For prospective new members, a word of warning: don't use common names like Dennis, Simon, or Kenny if you decide to create an account. Spammers have used them all before you and gotten those names flagged in the anti-spam databases. Your account registration will be rejected because of it.
  • Since it has happened MULTIPLE times now, I want to be very clear about this. You do not get to abandon an account and create a new one. You do not get to pass an account to someone else and create a new one. If you do so anyway, you will be banned for creating sockpuppets.
  • Due to the actions of particularly persistent spammers and trolls, we will be banning disposable email addresses from today onward.

Okay, thank you. If I want to navigate to a tagged work without filtering the page results, is there a way to do that or do I need to go through the results pages manually? As an example, sorting the creative writing page by word count, then navigating to the first naruto tagged work ( which for this example would be around page 500 instead of actual page results).

I worded that wrong, I apologize. QQ has filtering and search as options for every forum and sub-forum, but what I was trying to do was use the various sorting options in filters, then search through the listed threads ( such as the 900+ pages worth in the NSFW creative writing forum ) by what tag or author or other identifier a work or works may have without filtering the unfiltered forum results so that I could navigate to the forum page number that the searched for thread is currently on. I probably poorly worded this as well and apologize if I have.

This is fairly confusing. You want to:

1. Enter the NSFW subforum (currently 1,000 pages exactly, though maybe not for non-mods, as deleted threads are visible to staff).
2. Open the filter menu and sort by 'Word count' 'Descending'.
3. Jump to the page which has the first instance of X tag, but without searching for X tag specifically, so you still have all pages of results.

I don't think that is possible.

To try and clarify, I was questioning how, if possible, to navigate to a specific page by what threads were on it without filtering the pages or if knowing something like the author's name could show which page their work(s) were on without having to search for or filter for their work(s) specifically. This started because I was trying to needle in a haystack look for gay tagged works because of thread discussions of their rarity and became more curious about their comparative metrics to other works than trying to look for gay tagged works themselves only to have difficulty sorting the forum by watchers and being unable to find gay tagged works without filtering all other results. I hope this clarified my inquiry and again apologize if not.

To compare numbers, do multiple searches -- you don't need to find both +tag and -tag in the same search.

Well, older games shouldn't be an issue for this graphics card, though, to be honest, ray tracing is useless for older titles. You'd be better off with something like a 1060 or 1660, as they at least offer more VRAM. Modern games often have a minimum VRAM requirement of at least 6 gigabytes. As for the processor, it depends on the specific version of the Intel i5, but it shouldn't pose any problems for these types of games.

Is this a PC or a laptop?

Hmm, is this a new unit, or is it from the secondary market? If it's new, it should be able to run older games without any issues. Personally, though, I'd recommend looking for models with a graphics card at the "XX60" tier or higher. It's not that a 2050 would struggle with older games—heck, I even built my first PC using a processor with integrated Radeon Vega graphics.
For the games you mentioned, it should be sufficient. That said, for peace of mind, I'd suggest checking out some reviews on YouTube; that's how I made my own choices—I'd look at how well a specific graphics chip handled various workloads, and then decide. But again, for older titles, the GPU you mentioned should be perfectly fine. It might even handle some newer games, too.
The issue with newer titles is that they often have higher minimum VRAM requirements. Still, modern budget-tier cards will handle older games with no trouble at all.
On the other hand, if there's no price difference between this laptop and one with a better graphics card, you're better off going with the more powerful option.
If you need to save on cost, you could look for a model with a smaller storage drive—you can always replace the drive yourself later, whereas the graphics card is soldered onto the motherboard.

>can my computer with a gpu from 2021, 16 gb of ram and an I5 play 7th generation games?

Nah dude, its too weak. You need 128 gb ram, an I9 and a 5090. MINIMUM.
Better yet, go straight for a quantum computer.
But honestly, this is no laughing matter.
We've all been at that stage of not quite grasping things.
And personally, I doubt he'll want to limit himself to just old games.

Also, a 165Hz refresh rate is overkill.
Check the specifications for versions with less RAM and storage. It would be better to choose a configuration with a more basic display, less storage, and less RAM, but a more powerful graphics card.
I don't see any issues with the processor, as an Intel Core i5 is essentially a mid-range CPU.
Keep in mind that you can always add more storage or RAM later, but you won't be able to replace the graphics card yourself.

A reminder to everyone here that you deserve to find yourself a good Taqueria that makes real Tacos.

I had an interview where they straight up lied about the whole job and hit up a good ass taqueria after to calm down. I'm not even mad anymore, this shit is like sex to me.
