I disagree. The fact that he's injesting experiences from two lives simultaneously, and the fact that he's human means it's damn near impossible to separate things completely.Surely, he should have figured out a way to not let things happening to his one self effect the other.
Hed have to essentially split into a pair of separate personalities that interact never for that to make any sense.
Surely you would take the opportunity to screw around in one world while bored in the other, for example.
There has to be some cognitive overlap.
It doesn't have to be a lot, but he's supposed to be living this, which should by definition mean he gets used to exactly that sort of thing.
People will always find little tricks and amusements in damn near any aspect of life.
Amputees troll with their prosthetics, deaf people troll by pretending to be deafer than they are, etc.
Give me some indication that he lives like this.
The lives cannot be totally divorced, since he loves them simultaneously.
At least it's finally been mentioned after like 3 chapters...
