Is this intentional? I don't want to have to start blocking individual authors or finding other workarounds. I've already got an enormous amount of tags blocked.

You can't block tags. What do you mean by "forum view"? You mean the thread with the most recent post that appears next to each subforum?

Filter, then. I did find the issue - Somehow "Show ignored threads" was set 'on' in my bookmarked URL. I've removed the offending section from the URL and it's now functioning properly.

Edit: NOW. NOW functioning properly. Wow, talk about a bad typo.
