INFINI TY

(A Multi-Crossover)

Miles Morales had fought many insane battles in his life.

Alien invasions: check. Evil gods descending from the sky: check. A mad titan trying to wipe out half the universe because he had the world's worst dating strategy: somehow, also check. Honestly, by superhero standards, today had started out almost boring. Like, seriously, a Hydra base hidden in the middle of nowhere? There always seemed to be another one.

Captain America was punching Red Skull in the face because some traditions never died.

The Infinity Stones and the Cosmic Cube sitting in the same room, radiating enough energy to make reality itself sweat, was new though.

...in hindsight, that should have been the first clue that everything was about to go catastrophically wrong.

Miles still didn't actually know how Hydra had gotten their hands on any of it.

Apparently, Thanos had been halfway through his old plan of gathering all six Infinity Stones to snap away half of existence for a second time, somehow convinced Lady Death would go out with him after that, when his flagship had gotten blown out of the sky and crashed directly onto a Hydra installation.

Miles had several questions. None of them mattered right now, though, because Red Skull was standing in front of Captain America, arms spread wide, delivering what was probably his twentieth villain speech of the week if not day. "You fools cannot comprehend the new world that Hydra shall create! With the power of the Cube and the Infinity Stones, history itself shall kneel before us!"

"Yeah, yeah, fascism good, freedom bad, we've all heard this one before!" Peter shouted back, flipping over a blast from one of Hydra's troopers.

Miles was about to crack a joke too when his spider-sense exploded.

Pain lanced through his skull hard enough to make him stumble.

"AAAAAAGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!"

Across the room, Peter dropped to one knee and grabbed his head. "Oh, that is really, really not good-!"

Miles looked up just in time to see one of Hydra's scientists slam his hand onto a glowing control panel connected to the Cube and the Stones.

He didn't think. He just moved.

One second he was firing a webline the next, he was airborne flying towards the device. "VENOM BLAST!" Golden lightning erupted from his hands and slammed into the machine.

For one glorious instant, nothing happened.

Then everything happened.

The machine detonated, and the room vanished into blue fire and screaming metal as the Cosmic Cube fractured with a sound like glass shattering underwater, while the Infinity Stones erupted at once.

Miles hit the ground hard, ears ringing. Around him, reality itself seemed to be tearing apart.

"No!" Scarlet Witch screamed, red energy pouring from her hands. "Hold it together!" Other heavy hitters like Doom and Nate Grey quickly joined her.

Reality strained against itself as Doctor Strange floated into the center of the chamber, cloak whipping around him. "I can reverse this!" he shouted, golden symbols spinning around his hands. "Everyone, hold the fracture steady!"

Miles pushed himself up just in time to see Captain America tackle Red Skull through a collapsing wall.

"You lose, Schmidt!"

Red Skull laughed. "You still don't understand Herr Rogers!" he yelled as he pulled a pistol from inside his coat.

Time seemed to slow.

Miles opened his mouth.

Peter fired a web toward him but it was too late.

Bang.

Scarlet Witch jerked forward as the bullet tore through her back.

The red energy surrounding reality flickered.

Nate's eyes widened.

"Wanda!"

The fracture burst open.

Red Skull staggered to his feet and threw his arms into the air.

"HAIL HYDRA! MY WORLD IS-!"

Snikt.

For one brief moment, Red Skull's expression shifted from triumph to confusion.

Then his head slid off his shoulders.

Wolverine spat onto the ground.

"Shut the hell up Bub."

And then reality died.

White light swallowed everything.

People screamed as they were consumed by it, as existence itself shattered into pieces. Somehow in the chaos, Victor von Doom created a shield over Doctor Strange and Miles, green energy keeping them safe from non existance.

"Finish the spell, Strange!" Doom barked.

Strange's hands shook. "It's not working!"

"It has to work! Doom wills it!"

Miles collapsed to his knees, clutching his head.

Something was wrong.

Even more wrong than reality getting destroyed.

Memories flooded into his mind that weren't his.

He saw cities he'd never visited.

Monsters he'd never fought.

Worlds he'd never known.

Doom suddenly froze, and Miles guessed he got the same flashes. His mask tilted upward toward the white void consuming reality.

"...no. STRANGE STOP!"

Strange looked up from the spell. "What?"

Doom's voice had lost all arrogance.

"The Cube and the Stones are using it to pull other realities into ours to repair the damage! YOU ARE CAUSING AN INCURSION ON A SCALE NEVER SEEN BEFORE!"

Another explosion shook reality apart.

Miles looked up, blood dripping from his nose.

"What is it going to do to us then?!"

Doom stared into the endless white.

"It is going to change."

The words echoed through the void.

"Change what?"

"Everything."

The white light expanded as Doom´s shield shatered.
Clark Kent dropped his coffee as Metropolis disappeared into a white void.
ZION looked up from the battlefield as every Shard in his network suddenly went silent, while in another dimension the corpse of its mate stirred.
Godzilla roared at a sky that no longer existed while Ultuma tilted its head in curiosity as it glared at the readers.
Optimus Prime's optics widened as Cybertron split apart in beams of light.
Homelander stopped mid-sentence during a television interview. "What the fu-"
Mark Grayson reached for his half-brother to pull him behind him as the sky dissolved around them.
Sonic the Hedgehog skidded to a halt in Green Hill Zone which lost all its color. "...okay, that's new."
Darkseid looked up from his great creation and frowned.
Unicron opened his eyes.
Somewhere, Beyonder laughed.
And then nothing. For a single, impossible instant, there was only silence.
Miles woke up on cold stone. His entire body hurt.

He groaned and rolled onto his back. "...ow."

Above him stretched an unfamiliar sky. Fragments of land floated in the distance, suspended in an endless void. Pieces of cities drifted beside mountains. Oceans hung upside down in the sky. Strange stars burned where stars absolutely should not have been.

Miles sat upright.

Nearby, Doctor Strange stood at the edge of a shattered cliff, staring out at the impossible landscape.

Miles slowly climbed to his feet.

"Please tell me we're in another dimension."

Strange didn't answer he just sighed.

It was the exhausted sigh of a man who had just watched reality explode and somehow knew things were about to get even worse.

He turned toward Miles.

"We are in the worst-case scenario."

Miles swallowed.

"...which is?"

Strange gestured toward the broken heavens.

"We are standing in what remains of the Multiverse."

TIMELINES BEFORE THE MERGE New
Marvel (Kinda close to Marvel Comics but Peter Parker went through the events of Brand New Day Movie as did everyone else who showed up there.)
DC: Same as Marvel. Supergirl has her Movie Characterization. Alfred is retired instead of dead and Jon didnt age up.

Invincible: Season 3 Episode 5 ended a day ago.
Godzilla: Combination of Monsterverse and OG Japanese Series. (Kong exists as does Zilla and Gojira Junior)
The Boys: Time between Season 4 and 5.
Worm: Around the time of Hive.
Sonic: Post Sonic Frontiers and after the Belle/Sage Arc in IDW Comics but before the Angel Island Arc
