INFINI TY

(A Multi-Crossover)

Miles Morales had fought many insane battles in his life.

Alien invasions: check. Evil gods descending from the sky: check. A mad titan trying to wipe out half the universe because he had the world's worst dating strategy: somehow, also check. Honestly, by superhero standards, today had started out almost boring. Like, seriously, a Hydra base hidden in the middle of nowhere? There always seemed to be another one.

Captain America was punching Red Skull in the face because some traditions never died.

The Infinity Stones and the Cosmic Cube sitting in the same room, radiating enough energy to make reality itself sweat, was new though.

...in hindsight, that should have been the first clue that everything was about to go catastrophically wrong.

Miles still didn't actually know how Hydra had gotten their hands on any of it.

Apparently, Thanos had been halfway through his old plan of gathering all six Infinity Stones to snap away half of existence for a second time, somehow convinced Lady Death would go out with him after that, when his flagship had gotten blown out of the sky and crashed directly onto a Hydra installation.

Miles had several questions. None of them mattered right now, though, because Red Skull was standing in front of Captain America, arms spread wide, delivering what was probably his twentieth villain speech of the week if not day. "You fools cannot comprehend the new world that Hydra shall create! With the power of the Cube and the Infinity Stones, history itself shall kneel before us!"

"Yeah, yeah, fascism good, freedom bad, we've all heard this one before!" Peter shouted back, flipping over a blast from one of Hydra's troopers.

Miles was about to crack a joke too when his spider-sense exploded.

Pain lanced through his skull hard enough to make him stumble.

"AAAAAAGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!"

Across the room, Peter dropped to one knee and grabbed his head. "Oh, that is really, really not good-!"

Miles looked up just in time to see one of Hydra's scientists slam his hand onto a glowing control panel connected to the Cube and the Stones.

He didn't think. He just moved.

One second he was firing a webline the next, he was airborne flying towards the device. "VENOM BLAST!" Golden lightning erupted from his hands and slammed into the machine.

For one glorious instant, nothing happened.

Then everything happened.

The machine detonated, and the room vanished into blue fire and screaming metal as the Cosmic Cube fractured with a sound like glass shattering underwater, while the Infinity Stones erupted at once.

Miles hit the ground hard, ears ringing. Around him, reality itself seemed to be tearing apart.

"No!" Scarlet Witch screamed, red energy pouring from her hands. "Hold it together!" Other heavy hitters like Doom and Nate Grey quickly joined her.

Reality strained against itself as Doctor Strange floated into the center of the chamber, cloak whipping around him. "I can reverse this!" he shouted, golden symbols spinning around his hands. "Everyone, hold the fracture steady!"

Miles pushed himself up just in time to see Captain America tackle Red Skull through a collapsing wall.

"You lose, Schmidt!"

Red Skull laughed. "You still don't understand Herr Rogers!" he yelled as he pulled a pistol from inside his coat.

Time seemed to slow.

Miles opened his mouth.

Peter fired a web toward him but it was too late.

Bang.

Scarlet Witch jerked forward as the bullet tore through her back.

The red energy surrounding reality flickered.

Nate's eyes widened.

"Wanda!"

The fracture burst open.

Red Skull staggered to his feet and threw his arms into the air.

"HAIL HYDRA! MY WORLD IS-!"

Snikt.

For one brief moment, Red Skull's expression shifted from triumph to confusion.

Then his head slid off his shoulders.

Wolverine spat onto the ground.

"Shut the hell up Bub."

And then reality died.

White light swallowed everything.

People screamed as they were consumed by it, as existence itself shattered into pieces. Somehow in the chaos, Victor von Doom created a shield over Doctor Strange and Miles, green energy keeping them safe from non existance.

"Finish the spell, Strange!" Doom barked.

Strange's hands shook. "It's not working!"

"It has to work! Doom wills it!"

Miles collapsed to his knees, clutching his head.

Something was wrong.

Even more wrong than reality getting destroyed.

Memories flooded into his mind that weren't his.

He saw cities he'd never visited.

Monsters he'd never fought.

Worlds he'd never known.

Doom suddenly froze, and Miles guessed he got the same flashes. His mask tilted upward toward the white void consuming reality.

"...no. STRANGE STOP!"

Strange looked up from the spell. "What?"

Doom's voice had lost all arrogance.

"The Cube and the Stones are using it to pull other realities into ours to repair the damage! YOU ARE CAUSING AN INCURSION ON A SCALE NEVER SEEN BEFORE!"

Another explosion shook reality apart.

Miles looked up, blood dripping from his nose.

"What is it going to do to us then?!"

Doom stared into the endless white.

"It is going to change."

The words echoed through the void.

"Change what?"

"Everything."

The white light expanded as Doom´s shield shatered.
Clark Kent dropped his coffee as Metropolis disappeared into a white void.
ZION looked up from the battlefield as every Shard in his network suddenly went silent, while in another dimension the corpse of its mate stirred.
Godzilla roared at a sky that no longer existed while Ultuma tilted its head in curiosity as it glared at the readers.
Optimus Prime's optics widened as Cybertron split apart in beams of light.
Homelander stopped mid-sentence during a television interview. "What the fu-"
Mark Grayson reached for his half-brother to pull him behind him as the sky dissolved around them.
Sonic the Hedgehog skidded to a halt in Green Hill Zone which lost all its color. "...okay, that's new."
Darkseid looked up from his great creation and frowned.
Unicron opened his eyes.
Somewhere, Beyonder laughed.
And then nothing. For a single, impossible instant, there was only silence.
Miles woke up on cold stone. His entire body hurt.

He groaned and rolled onto his back. "...ow."

Above him stretched an unfamiliar sky. Fragments of land floated in the distance, suspended in an endless void. Pieces of cities drifted beside mountains. Oceans hung upside down in the sky. Strange stars burned where stars absolutely should not have been.

Miles sat upright.

Nearby, Doctor Strange stood at the edge of a shattered cliff, staring out at the impossible landscape.

Miles slowly climbed to his feet.

"Please tell me we're in another dimension."

Strange didn't answer he just sighed.

It was the exhausted sigh of a man who had just watched reality explode and somehow knew things were about to get even worse.

He turned toward Miles.

"We are in the worst-case scenario."

Miles swallowed.

"...which is?"

Strange gestured toward the broken heavens.

"We are standing in what remains of the Multiverse."

TIMELINES BEFORE THE MERGE New
Marvel (Kinda close to Marvel Comics but Peter Parker went through the events of Brand New Day Movie as did everyone else who showed up there.)
DC: Same as Marvel. Supergirl has her Movie Characterization. Alfred is retired instead of dead and Jon didnt age up.
Transformers (Inspired by Transformers One, which is kinda canon, but other continuities are too in broad strokes. Autobots were exiled to Earth a few years ago, and only recently the Decepticons joined them after Cybertron became uninhabitable)
Invincible: Season 3 Episode 5 ended a day ago.
Godzilla: Combination of Monsterverse and OG Japanese Series. (Kong exists as does Zilla and Gojira Junior)
The Boys: Time between Season 4 and 5.
Worm: Around the time of Hive.
Sonic: Post Sonic Frontiers and after the Belle/Sage Arc in IDW Comics but before the Angel Island Arc

Legion: Stabalizing New
Victor von Doom had always assumed that if reality itself ever collapsed, there would be screaming, and while there had been screaming here, mostly, there had been idiots.

Idiots panicking, idiots fighting, idiots on television insisting that everything was under control, and idiots proving, once again, that Doom was the only competent being on the planet and who could rule it.

The moment he had dragged himself free of the ruins of the Hydra catastrophe and realized the scope of the disaster, he had done what Reed Richards undoubtedly wasted precious minutes debating.

He had gone home.

The teleportation beam deposited him in the center of Castle Doom's laboratory, and he had immediately gotten to work.

Since then, he had dismantled three Doombots, repurposed four reality analyzers and an experimental dimensional stabilizer that had once nearly destroyed Belgium. Sparks showered across the laboratory as Doom ripped the arm off a Doombot and welded it into place atop an enormous metal framework.

"The conduits are inadequate," Doom muttered, tightening a bolt with one hand while rewriting quantum equations with the other. "Reality itself is fluctuating faster than anticipated."

A nearby Doombot tilted its head. "Master, preliminary scans indicate that local space-time has stabilized."

Doom didn't even look up. "Idiotic machine! We are experiencing the equivalent of an adrenaline rush!"

The Doombot blinked. "...adrenaline, Master?"

Doom slammed a control panel into place for a brief moment, wondering why he made this Doombot so idiotic before remembering that it was made so would-be thieves would think they could outsmart him. It was lucky that he found it amusing after its purpose was done. "When a man suffers mortal injury, his body floods itself with chemicals to delay collapse. Reality is doing the same." Doom finally looked up from his work. "When the rush ends..." he said quietly, "I can only theorize."

Even Doom disliked those theories. He turned back to the machine dominating the center of the chamber. The Ultimate Stabilizer.

A ridiculous name, perhaps. But Doom had built ridiculous machines before. All of them had worked.

The machine towered over him, cables snaking across the floor like metallic roots. Rings of energy rotated around a glowing core, protected by layer after layer of armor plating stripped from Doombots and experimental weapons.

In theory, it would anchor reality itself.

But the problem was power.

Doom opened a metal case and stared at the glowing blue device within.

An arc reactor.

A relic from a life he rarely cared to remember, specifically from the brief, absurd period during which Victor von Doom had become Iron Man.

"It will do," he muttered.

The reactor could protect Castle Doom for a few days at least until Doom found a good replacement.

He slammed the case shut. "We require a superior energy source."

"Understood, Master."

Doom gestured toward the windows overlooking the mountains. "Deploy reconnaissance units. Search for anything capable of sustaining continental-scale reality stabilization."

"Parameters?"

"Anything with high enough energy."

The Doombot paused.

"What if they find a person with enough energy, Master?"

Doom turned slowly.

"Bring them too. Willingly if possible."

The robot nodded. "Understood, Master."

As it hurried away, Doom allowed himself a brief moment of silence.

Valeria.

For the first time in hours, the thought crossed his mind.

He clenched his fist.

She was intelligent, capable, and, regrettably, currently under the protection of Reed Richards.

Doom's lip curled beneath his mask.

Richards was a fool.

An arrogant, short-sighted fool.

But he was not an incompetent father.

"...she will survive," Doom muttered.

The alternative was unacceptable.

A burst of static echoed through the laboratory.

Doom glanced toward the radio sitting atop a workbench. One of the Doombots was cycling through military frequencies, emergency broadcasts, and civilian channels in an attempt to piece together the state of the world.

Most of what it found was nonsense.

"-repeat, unidentified giant reptilian continues advancing towards the eastern seaboard-"

The radio crackled.

"The PRT Director are currently debating whether the creature is a previously unknown Endbringer—"

Doom stopped working.

The broadcast continued.

"-witnesses describe the entity as over three hundred feet tall, reptilian in appearance, and capable of firing what survivors of a sea battle are calling 'blue nuclear fire.'"

Doom frowned.

"...an Endbringer?"

He had no idea what that was.

But anything capable of firing nuclear fire warranted attention.

The Doombot station shifted.

"-President Coulhoun has condemned President Ellis's emergency declaration, while President Coin and President Rederson have both disputed Homelander's announcement of martial law-"

Doom slowly turned toward the radio.

"Of course the Americans are infighting..."

The reporter sounded barely restrained. "Homelander himself has appeared outside the White House, urging citizens to remain calm while Vought International coordinates relief efforts-"

Doom ignored that and motioned to the Doombot to switch another frequency.

"-military commanders are warning civilians not to engage hostile robotic units. Initial reports identifying the attackers as Decepticons have proven inaccurate. Eyewitnesses describe spherical robots with cartoonish proportions and-"

An explosion sounded in the background.

"-wait, we're receiving confirmation that these so-called 'Badniks' are not affiliated with Cybertronian forces-"

Doom tried to remember if he knew that name. "Hmmm, Cybertronian..." No he didn´t but they and the creator of these Badniks would kneel before him regardless.

He nodded, and the Doombot switched the station again.

"Authorities in Sunset City are reporting massive property as a giant insect swarm spreads throughout the downtown area, causing the riots to escalate. Local heroes known as the Chaotix, have joined evacuation efforts-"

Doom blinked. "The what?"

The radio erupted into static once more before a frantic new voice cut through. "We interrupt this broadcast with breaking news!" The reporter sounded halfway between terrified and exhausted. "The group know as the Legion of Doom has launched a coordinated assault on Metropolis."

Silence.

The temperature in the laboratory seemed to drop ten degrees.

Doom glared.

The Doombot changing the radio stations instinctively took a step backward.

The reporter continued. "Superman is MIA but multiple unidentified heroes are currently engaged with the attackers in downtown-"

Victor von Doom stood perfectly still. Then, very calmly, he crushed the wrench in his hand into scrap metal. "The Legion..." The words came out dangerously quiet.

"...of Doom."

Lightning flashed outside Castle Doom.

Every Doombot in the room froze.

Doom marched toward the radio. "WHO DO THEY THINK THEY ARE?!" The windows rattled. "Who dares claim the name of Doom without the permission of Doom themselves?!"

No one answered, mostly because they were radios.

Doom jabbed a finger toward the nearest Doombot. "Prepare my armor."

"Master, you are already wearing your armor."

Doom stared at the idiot exasperated for a moment. Right this was the idiot, he thought before rage filled him and he screamed. "MY BATTLE ARMOR, FOOL!!!!"

The Doombot gulped and saluted. "YES, MASTER!"

Doom spun back toward the Ultimate Stabilizer, cape billowing behind him. "These impostors shall kneel before their rightful superior." He slammed another power conduit into place. "And if they refuse-" Electricity surged through the laboratory. "-then Doom shall educate them how to respect their better."

Far away, beyond the mountains of Latveria, reality groaned.

For the briefest instant, the stars and the sun flickered.

And Victor von Doom worked faster.

Defenders: Shattered New
Butcher groaned and pushed himself upright. Every bone in his body felt like it'd been hit by a truck, which, considering the sort of week he'd been having, wasn't actually impossible. "...the fuck?"

The street around him was chaos, cars sat abandoned in the middle of intersections while storefront windows had been shattered and people were running in every direction.

And overhead, a man in green armor riding some kind of flying board swooped between skyscrapers, cackling as he dropped sacks of stolen jewelry into the street. "That's the third bloody Green Goblin this month!"

"He's not the Green Goblin, he's the Hobgoblin!"

"Who cares?!"

A man wearing an orange-and-blue costume and carrying a sword casually vaulted off a rooftop, landing in front of a jewelry store before immediately getting into an argument with a police officer over parking regulations.

Across the avenue, a guy in a red devil costume was helping an old lady cross the street while simultaneously talking down a crowd of looters.

And in the distance, someone in a blue parka was creating an ice wall in front of a bank.

Butcher blinked. "...fuck more supes."

He reached into his coat and pulled out his phone and saw that he had one missed call from Hughie, seven from Mother's Milk and three from Frenchie. Nineteen were from an unknown number labeled DO NOT ANSWER. Probably Starlight.

He hit Hughie's contact, but nothing but static greeted him before the call disconnected. He tried Mother's Milk, and when that didnt work, he tried Frenchie but he didnt have luck with that either. "Come on, you useless bastards..." He muttered before reluctantly trying the unknown number.

The line crackled for a moment then died.

He glanced around himself to see the chaos continue.

Oddly enough, most of the people causing problems were Supes, with the rest of the normal civilians being, strangely, calm. Or at least calmer than Billy would've expected.

"It's okay!" a woman yelled at a crowd running from an explosion. "Stay together! The Avengers handle stuff like this all the time!"

"What do you mean, this doesn't happen every week?! AND WHO THE HELL ARE THE AVENGERS!?" someone else shouted back.

"We had three alien invasions before breakfast last year! And the JLA handled it!"

Billy stared. "...the hell are they talking about?"

Unfortunately, he didn't get much time to think about it as someone yelled at him from behind him. "HEY!"

Billy turned and grimaced.

Oh, great.

A group of idiots. There were four of them, all wearing homemade costumes with stars plastered across their shirts. One of them pointed directly at him. "Your him!"

Billy frowned. "...who do you think I am, mate?"

"The Starlighter!"

Billy's face twisted in disgust. "The bloody what?"

The guy marched forward, righteous fury written across his face.

"You people ruined Homelander's life!"

Billy spent several seconds processing that sentence.

First of all, "Starlighter" sounded ridiculous. Like hell he would support a Supe even if she was Hughies pet.

"Hold on." Billy raised a hand. "You wankers support Homelander?"

"Of course we do!"

Billy stared. "...voluntarily?"

The fanboy puffed out his chest. "Homelander protects America!"

Billy looked around at the burning city. "Fantastic job he's doing."

The man's face turned red. "Get him!"

Billy sighed.

"Right. Guess we're doing this."

The first idiot swung but Billy ducked under the punch and headbutted him hard enough to send him crashing into a trashcan. The second guy tackled him from the side, and Billy elbowed him in the ribs in return, only for the third one, who had apparently decided to bring a baseball bat, to hit him in the head.

Crack.

He blocked but the bat slammed into his shoulder.

"Oww, you little-!"

The fourth guy punched him square in the jaw.

Billy staggered backward.

There were too many of them.

"Oi!" Billy shouted as somebody kicked him in the ribs. "Four against one? Cowards!"

The answer was another punch.

Billy hit the pavement hard.

One of the fanboys raised his fist.

"So freak you think Starlight's gonna save you-"

Bang.

The man's head snapped sideways as a bullet punched through his shoulder, making him scream in pure agony as his idiot friends looked at where the gunshot came from. Standing at the end of the street was a man in a black trench coat carrying enough firearms to invade a small country. Beside him stood a supe in a featureless mask and fedora. And behind them was the least threatening giant Billy had ever seen.

The man with the guns lowered his smoking pistol. "Back off or next ones are going in your dicks."

The fanboys wisely decided that now was an excellent time to leave.

Billy groaned as he took the masked supes' hand. The Supe then helped him to his feet. "You injured?"

Billy rubbed his jaw. "Nah. It's only a scratch wound. Surprised you supes didnt help them."

The man blinked. "...what?"

Billy pointed accusingly at all three of them.

"What, you haven´t heard of supes?"

The giant looked baffled. "No?"

The man with the guns frowned. "You mean superheroes?"

Billy immediately pointed at him. "Yeah."

The masked man tilted his head.

"Who exactly do you think we are?"

Billy opened his mouth, but before any sound exited, the entire street shook.

BOOM.

Half a city block away, something crashed into the pavement hard enough to crater the road. A teenage supe rolled across the asphalt, coughing blood, before desperately trying to stand. She wore purple armor and held what looked like a futuristic crossbow.

"Hawkeye?" The giant said, making the girl turn to them.

"Get back!" she shouted.

Billy blinked. "...excuse me?"

The woman staggered upright. "You civilians need to evacuate! There are hostile parahumans in the area!"

Billy had absolutely no idea what a parahuman was. But after the morning he'd had, he decided to just go with it. "Right," he said. "Terrible news about the para-whatevers."

The girl stared at him. "...what?"

A deafening roar cut through the city. Something enormous jumped over a skyscraper. Billy froze as he recognized that silhouette, even if it now had massive horns and glowing orange lines running through its body. "...Behemoth?"

The woman looked at him in confusion. "You know this guy? Why the fuck would anyone name themselves after an Endbringer?"

Billy stared at her and she stared back

The giant man with glasses looked between them. "...an end what?"

The masked man adjusted his hat. "Interesting. I thought for a moment it was Damage."

Billy pointed at the monster. "No, no, that's the bloody Behemoth! Big bastard from Vought!"

Everyone stared at him and frowned. The faceless man only tilted his head. "Vought?"

The man in the trench coat pinched the bridge of his nose. "We are having this conversation later."

The masked man nodded. "Agreed. Preferably after we establish whether the giant radioactive monster is secretly working for the Illuminati." Everyone turned to stare at him. "What?"

"Mate," Billy said, "Are you high?"

The giant sighed and walked over to help the armored woman stand. "Let's just focus on surviving first."

Billy reached into his coat.

His fingers closed around a small glass vial of Temp V.

He took it out and stared at it for a moment. Then he uncapped it and injected it into himself.

As power filled him the armed man loaded another magazine into his rifle while the masked man pulled twin pistols from beneath his coat and the girl raised her crossbow.

"Right then."

Green veins began spreading across his skin.

"Let's go spank the ugly bastard."
