The Heavenly Staff sext is a Taoist sect, one of the many orthodox sects that dot the Sun Ape Kingdom, protectorate of the Xu dynasty of the Blue Carp Empire.

It was a sunny, pleasant day. The sect elders were drinking tea and playing Mahjong like a squabbling group of grannies while the inner sect lead the outer in morning calisthenics.

It was quiet. Peaceful. Intoolerable.
