Sukuna is still human. He was born like that because he ate his twin in the womb (iirc). He isn't a curse, as he can still use RCT and would have been one-shot by Maho's Sword of Extermination. He's just so fucking evil that people mistook him for a curse, not only that but the King of Curses.
Because Sukuna isn't Half-Curse, he's fully human, even if disfigured. You're thinking of the Death Paintings and Yuji, who are half-Curses
Stating this here cause the mod seemed annoyed, and I don't want to get shot!
My comment actually never said that he was a curse, it was basically me trying to say that I believe that his soul was cursed.
Sorry for the confusion!
I also stated in my other comments why I believe that happened but to reiterate...
People in the Hein era had many superstitions against deformed children, especially something like a conjoined twin, Sukuna also absored his twin which would be considered a major taboo, and also him and his brother were probably both gonna be sorcerers.
I believe these things enabled and empowered his birth, which made him the major outlier that he is and allowed him to completely eclipse long time Jujutsu sorcerer clans.
Basically just like how cursed energy and superstitions and things that cause negatively can form into a cursed spirit, which is basically a pseudo soul with cursed energy (the completeness of the soul depending on the rank) and like how cursed spirits can come from sorcerers who have died.
This taboo he did and the superstitions, empowered his soul "cursed it".
Which for me would explain everything.
Cause cursed spirits are born from concepts of negativity and the bigger and scarier the concept the more energy "curse" energy the spirit receives.
