Julian Ambrose Crawford (but call him just Julian... please) has just finished graduating from Hogwarts, presumably having done his Hufflepuff House proud in... some sort of way. A self-described sensible coward and often-accused eternal slacker, Julian is left a bit adrift now that seven years of magical boarding school are suddenly left behind him. Just as he's contemplating the new directions his life can take, his future is turned completely on its head when an invisible floating magical grimoire suddenly pops up in front of his face.

IMPORTANT: So related to a discussion I recently had about the HP fic's name, I stumbled across the thought of swapping the grimoire out for a deck of Tarot cards instead. The Chaos Gacha website itself has this system as well where you can shuffle the cards, get 5 facedown and pick one, which then gives you the gacha reward.

I quite feel for this as it would make one of the suggested names fit absolutely perfectly and further distinguish this fic from the Son of Kaos one by giving the chaos gacha a different appearance. However, it is quite a bit of work and I can imagine that some readers might not appreciate the new format. So, that's why we have a poll (over on my Patreon)!
 
New Title and Cover Image! New
Hey everyone, as I may have mentioned earlier, I wasn't entirely happy with the title (and some people got... a bit mean about the first cover image...), but the perfect title for this fic literally just hit me out of nowhere like a lightning bolt!
