  • Since it has happened MULTIPLE times now, I want to be very clear about this. You do not get to abandon an account and create a new one. You do not get to pass an account to someone else and create a new one. If you do so anyway, you will be banned for creating sockpuppets.
  • Due to the actions of particularly persistent spammers and trolls, we will be banning disposable email addresses from today onward.

Hello,

I got caught in an off-topic discussion and then got a slap on the wrist.

I'm not really sure about how to "Take that discussion elsewhere" properly and would like to avoid making it worse by trying to fix it.

It feels like Rants on and by Artificial Intelligence would be a good place for the discussion to go on but I'm unsure about how to do it

I could quote the different messages into the AI rant thread but that would create an ugly big fat message full of quotes there.
Or I could link to the beginning of the discussion and summarize it?

Is there a good way to do this?

From a rules perspective, either of your ideas are fine. To mitigate the 'ugly big fat message full of quotes' issue, you could just surround the quotes in a spoiler.
