Cap is a genuinely good man who's generally unafraid to fight for what he believes in... and who's quite good at doing so.
Author's Note: Yes, Cap's first reaction to the Z-Team in all its glory was to unass the room as soon as he politely could. Let's face it, he is not getting paid enough for that shit. *g*
Erm.
Missing space.
She smokes with asthma. Does she want to die?Visi's jaw fell open, her cigarette landing unregarded upon the floor.
It actually is a deliberately self-destructive impulse, yes. She's not actively trying to kill herself, but she is punishing herself for being alive. Canon Courtney starts out with some serious self-worth and self-hatred issues.
Yeah, a subconscious death wish is never fun. Thankfully Good Boy Steve is here to lift her spirts and make things better. It actually is a deliberately self-destructive impulse, yes. Ah, Cap being the golden retriever that he is and bring light to dark places. Never change Cap, never change.
You have accurately identified the impulse that originally led me to create this fic. I wanted Visi to be happy (even in canon Dispatch on her most optimistic route, she ends the game merely capable of someday being happy) and then somebody else mentioned 'Steve Rogers in Dispatch' within my hearing range and cue the intrusive thought parade.Thankfully Good Boy Steve is here to lift her spirts and make things better.
Plot bunnies do be like that. You have accurately identified the impulse that originally led me to create this fic. Erm, either this is a typo or it's missing a "the" in front of it.
In the draft version she was an unrepentant mid-boss villain, much like the cut person is in canon. But as the story evolved I found myself feeling a lot more sympathetic to her, so while it will be rough for her for a while she'll eventually be fine.
I hated firing them cause this is their last chance and the system is against and their trying their best in their own way.In the draft version she was an unrepentant mid-boss villain, much like canon. Considering how unbelievably thirsty Visi is towards a handsome guy that actually gives a shit, she absolutely had a dream sequence. It also was both just as dirty yet somehow more romantically saccharine than canon. She had to change the sheets, it was unbelievable. You'd had to be there.Author's Note: Oh, you thought I was going to give Visi the dream sequence? The one from canon? Well… actually, I was originally going to do that. And then my fingers just started running away with me and somehow this happened instead.
