Think I'm gonna go with about twice the lifespan of an irl horse, meaning that in good health they might live up to 70 years or so, but rarely longer than that. So usually shorter than humans but not by as large a margin as irl.

Also fingers remain crossed that someone whos familiar with european warhorses shows up at some point like you put that in a race?! *facepalm*

It probably would have a niche in MANT since the runners are probably going to be in bad mood anyways, and the high star gain and failure protection offsets some of the usual problems.

I could see Mori developing something of a grudge. Irrational, sure, but where before she was probably going to retire on her own terms, Shiro may well have taken that choice away from her.

IRL Mori retired at the end of their 2-year old season, so in umaverse it's more they decided that professional racing wasn't for them and Shiro solidified that decision.

We know the sword she has is real, it just hasn't been sharpened since her grandmother passed.

But man, anytime an Uma hears that Shiro is running in a race and a they're a frontrunner? Immediate brutal guts training for Umas that are weak to that kinda stuff.

The Trainers are going to hate Shirogane's run for all the G1 races +extras, this will set a precedent, the other Umas in her school might try to race them with her.

And a feat like that would have Younger Umas wanting to do the same years later, specially if she keeps running them each year.
