Once and Future (WormxFate)

Hello, and welcome to Once and Future. This will be using a variant of the Pendragon tabletop ruleset.

Can you give us the modifications you did? I want do make my own quest (even if is just for myself) using your system if its at all possible.

Most of the modifications were simplifications of the system. For example, in Pendragon, you would train Spear, Sword, Axes, etc. all separately, however I boiled it down to just a single Melee stat. Likewise, there are a lot of Courtly skills (Hawking, Singing, Poetry, etc.) that were removed and several skills were "modernized." Instead of Literacy you have Academics. Instead of Stewardship you have Finance.

The mechanics around achieving Ideals were changed a bit to fit in with more "modern" outlooks. You're Heroic instead of Chivalrous and have different target Virtues to hit as a result. Ideals give slightly different rewards since some of the rewards they would have given previously (Chivalry, Magic Resistance) got rolled into your Powers.

Powers do not exist in the base Pendragon ruleset.

The various running a Team mechanic stuff was either tacked on or a modification of running your Estate in Pendragon.

Attending a Party works slightly differently than attending a Feast in Pendragon, as that would normally be a competitive thing between players to accrue the most Appeal and be the most liked person at the party.

We haven't yet seen Tournaments in play and that's a big part of Pendragon. I've only just started doing more Mass Combat stuff and that's a huge part of Pendragon.
