Hence the note I dropped on the last page.By which I mean, any attempt to prosecute fraudulent use of AI has a heavy burden of proving that it is AI and not just really bad and deliberately provocative writing,
*Enforcing that companies keep a register of all the text their AIs generate, that people can have suspect text compared to, would help somewhat (it'd at least force them into using open-source models). Banning neural nets worldwide is the only way to wipe it out completely, though.
Yes, AI's good at brainwashing. From my point of view that's an additional reason to smash the AI and deprogram the cultists.And AI is designed to tell you that you are great and your ideas are great and that using AI to help you write is just great.
