Question about rules 8

So what happened if i make a story about certain accident where bunch people died and then in the next 1 hour the said accident really happened in RL and it become political mess, should i delete my story or what?

This question came to my mind because i remember there small author that experiencing this in other site that have the same rule, poor guy his reader jumping him and forcing him to deleted his story

Rule 8 mostly does not apply to story text. Purely as regards the rules of QQ, you're fine in that situation.

...Well that's one way to get people interested in your story, Nostradamus.

But yeah, like Alethiophile said, as long as it's clearly in-universe and in-story, Rule 8... kind of doesn't apply. In the sense that the intention and spirit of the rule is to squash non-story discussion of real life events and politics, because such things inevitably end in flames.
