The night passed rather quickly, Alex had slept almost as soon as his eyes had closed and he had gotten under the blanket.
His eyes snapping open almost as soon as the time hit six in the morning.
He didn't move for a moment and simply laid there on his bed, his eyes opened and looking up at the ceiling of the house.
'I don't want to get up… can't I just stay here and pretend that all my problems just don't exist.' Alex thought to himself, his lips forming a flat line as he felt an emotion that felt so close like anxiety and sadness at the same time that he couldn't quite distinguish it course through his body and then it was gone.
'No.. I can't, I have to get up.' Alex thought and just as he was about to, he heard a voice coming from downstairs, it was someone walking, but that wasn't the only voice that he heard, it was everything, it was the breathing, it was… the heart rate and then his hearing which had instantly focused onto the person downstairs seemed to expand exponentially as suddenly he could hear everything and yet nothing at the same time, his brain was almost instantly overloaded from the information as he lifted his hand quickly and grabbed his head.
"Fuck… make it stop, please make it stop." Alex muttered however the more he did, the worse the headache got, the sounds now felt like they were all shouting directly into his ear, the more they did, the more he panicked and worsened the situation.
Finally after almost an entire minute where it only seemed to get worse by the second until he was about to faint, he managed to give himself a single thought.
'Calm… Need to calm down.' Alex thought and this time he had the right idea, his breathing slowed as he closed his eyes, it still hurt, it hurt deeply and his head felt like it was being split open however the headache was slowly lowering in intensity instead of simply growing larger like it had.
For the next ten minutes, Alex couldn't even move, simply laying there, head in his hands and breathing shallow whilst his entire body was sweating from the pain until the hearing was suddenly gone, everything returning back to normal as if nothing had ever happened.
*Huff* *huff*
Releasing gasping huffs of breath, Alex finally lowered his hands from his head and onto the edge of the bed as he tried to get up as slowly as he could, only to quickly find out that what he was doing wasn't exactly the smartest thing, as soon as he took three steps away from the bed, he felt the ground shift under him and in an instant his equilibrium deviated and he fell down onto the ground or at least he would have if he hadn't caught himself and was now basically standing almost entirely horizontal to the ground, whilst only using his core strength to not fall down.
Looking up at the ceiling whilst he maintained the pose, he felt both shock and despair at the same time.
'It's getting worse, it's most definitely getting worse.' Alex thought as he slowly raised himself back up, he didn't even need to use his hands, simply lifting his body back up with his legs and core strength, something that he had never ever been able to do in the entirety of his life.
"I need to get dressed, clean myself up and then head downstairs and get Charlie to send me to the hospital so that Carlisle can take me out of here as soon as possible. I… I don't trust myself right now, not my body and not my control over it, at all." Alex muttered under his breath as he took another step and this time because he had been trying to rush his morning routine, he had unconsciously used slightly more speed and thus he was now stopped right before the door of his room.
His nose merely millimetres away from touching the wooden door, his eyes snapped wide open as he took a step back as slowly as he could.
If before he could somewhat control his strength but there would still be accidents, not it almost felt like he had to focus himself to control the accidents, he couldn't control the output of his actions when they happened at all, there wasn't the option of regular or a bit more strength anymore, now it was either normal or clearly supernatural.
Alex gulped as his hands shook as he slowly opened the door of his bedroom and he walked towards the bathroom as slowly as he could.
For the next half an hour he proceeded to complete his morning routine whilst being as careful as he could, every movement that he took had to be thought out, he couldn't move in instinct like every other human did, he had to think about moving his hand otherwise it would move at speeds that would most certainly destroy something around him.
After having finished showering and cleaning his teeth as well as dressing up in whatever clothes he could find, Alex headed down the stairs.
Charlie Swan was already awake, he would have usually already gone to work however he seems to have stayed back today and was now sitting on the couch watching the morning news.
"Good mornin." Alex said softly as he finally arrived at the ground and walked towards him.
Charlie turned his attention towards Alex as soon as he spoke, his eyes wide in shock for a moment before he released a sigh.
"Good mornin Alex. Didn't hear you there, those stairs usually make a sound when someone goes down em but I didn't hear you, it shocked my heart for a moment there." Charlie said as he shook his head and got up from his position on the couch, turning fully towards Alex and taking a step closer.
