My name is Ash and I was isekai'd into the world of RWBY. After spending 17 years as an orphan, I'm finally ready to join Beacon Academy alongside the rest of the Volume 1 cast.

But… something has happened to the canon. Adam Taurus is here, and he is a kind, emotional guy eager for friendship with humans.

And… is that BLEISS?!

[#] This story is different from the original Canon, bordering on "AU".

[#] And truth be told... I just wanted to write a story with Bleiss Schnee.

[#] FYI: This story will contain a lot of swearing! Almost like a collab between Seth MacFarlane, Matt Stone, Trey Parker, and Vivziepop.

"I can't believe it's finally happening." I whisper in awe.

I was reincarnated into the RWBY universe as an orphan in the city of Vale. I survived the joke this city calls a support system for parentless youth, and as soon as I was old enough, I threw myself into every free training program for future Huntsmen offered by the government and charities institutions.

"And today, at 17 years old, after so much grinding I'm finally at Beacon Academy in the very year Volume 1 begins."

I stride through Beacon Academy's grounds, a grin spreading across my face as I take in the sprawling campus. The lawns stretch out like a sea of green, punctuated by towering oak trees and bursts of color from flower beds.

"With my knowledge of the canon, I'll prevent the fall of Beacon. I'll be the greatest hero Remnant has ever seen."

Walking through the property I scan the area, anticipating the exact moment when Ruby and Weiss cause an explosion, or when Jaune hurls his lunch into the nearest trash can.

I plant myself on a bench, eyes peeled for any sign of chaos.

But time passes, seconds turn into minutes, and still nothing happens. Eventually, bored of waiting, I check my cracked screen scroll.

"Half an hour waiting and still nothing?" I mutter, annoyed. "No explosions, no screaming, no Ruby-shaped holes or craters on the ground."

Maybe I missed it. Maybe I was too late, and the crater is hidden by the neatly trimmed grass.

I shrug, pushing off the bench. Guess I'll have to meet these heroes on another time.

"Hope I'm not too late for Ozpin's speech."

I break into a run, my black and red two-handed mechashift greataxe the 'Evil Dead' strapped against my back, its weight a familiar anchor as I charge toward the building looming ahead, a colossal stone structure draped in ivy.

* * *

I skid to a halt inside the auditorium, the echo of my footsteps dying away in the vast chamber. Professor Ozpin stands on the stage, his calm voice carrying through the air.

"...and with that, I urge you all to get a good night's rest. Dismissed."

The few students disperse, chattering and laughing as they head for the exits. I stand there, frozen, as reality sinks in.

"Seriously!?" I burst out, frustrated. "I didn't see anyone, and I even missed Ozpin's weird, somber speech?"

From a distance, I see Ruby and Yang arguing, Pyrrha sitting alone, Nora and Ren unpacking bedroll, while the future CRDL is chatting and chuckling.

While I'm distracted, an annoyingly friendly voice pulls my attention.

"You don't need to be so upset," says a masculine voice from behind me. "you didn't miss much, my friend."

I'm not a fan of overly friendly people, they always sound so fake to me. I turn to snap at whoever's talking, but the words catch in my throat when I lock eyes with the speaker.

"Y-You're..." I stammer, then catch myself. "Can't be."

"Do I know you?" he asks in a hopeful tone. "I sure could use a familiar face around here." He laughs, genuinely happy.

My brain short-circuits, mouth hanging open as I stare at the guy standing right in front of me. He's tall, about 1.93 meters (6,4 feet), almost my height. With a mop of red and brown hair that's somehow both messy and perfectly styled, slicked back. His bright blue eyes sparkle with a warmth I never saw in the series.

And that smile… it's wide, genuine, and totally disarming, nothing like the original one.

It can't be him, he shouldn't be here, but those dark red bull horns in his hair leave no doubt.

"I'm Adam." His smile widens, a chuckle escaping his lips. "Adam Taurus. Nice to meet you."

He extends a hand, and I stare at it like it's a foreign object.

I stare at Adam's hand like it's a grenade ready to explode.

'Why Adam Taurus is in Beacon?' I shout mentally. 'Why is he being friendly? Especially to a human like me?'

I blink, waiting for the punchline, for something to give, but nothing does. He just stands there, hand outstretched, grin widening.

"You alright, buddy?" Adam asks, his eyebrows furrowing in concern. "Are you one of those humans?" he adds sadly, pulling his hand back.

"Those humans?" I repeat, confused.

"The kind of human that doesn't like faunus." He explains looking down. "Especially touching them."

I snap out of my daze, realizing I've been staring like an idiot.

"I'm not one of those humans." I shake my head. "I just... you caught me off guard."

Adam's expression shifts, concern melting into curiosity.

"Really?" He tilts his head, studying me. "Are you sure about that?"

Around us, a few students pause, their gazes flicking towards us. Whispers start, a hushed buzz that grates on my nerves.

"Did he just refuse to shake that poor faunus's hand?" someone mutters.

"The one with the green eyes?" another chimes in. "Does he have a thing against faunus?"

"Is he a racist? Seriously?"

"I knew it. Look how he's treating that redhair faunus."

The whispers morph into a chorus, echoing through the auditorium. Frustration boils over inside me. I can't afford to be labeled a racist.

"Yeah, I'm sure. I don't care if you're Faunus, human, or whatever." I say, voice firm.

Frustrated and afraid of being labeled racist I reach out, grab Adam by the shoulders, and pull him into a tight hug. He stiffens, surprise radiating off him. I squeeze tighter, desperation fueling my actions.

"IT'S SO NICE TO MEET YOU, MY FRIEND!" I shout so everyone can hear. "MY NAME IS ASH!"

The murmurs around us shift, the tide turning.

"Guess we were wrong about that guy."

"Yeah, no way a racist would hug a faunus like that."

"Maybe he's not so bad after all."

The voices fade, footsteps echoing as the crowd disperses. Once we're alone, I release Adam, stepping back.

"Sorry about that," I mutter, rubbing the back of my neck. "Got a bit carried away."

But Adam doesn't joke or laugh like I expect. Instead, he stands there, eyes shining with unshed tears. He grips my shoulders with both hands, breath hitching.

"Adam?" I ask, concern spiking in me. "Are you okay? Did I squeeze too hard? I didn't hurt you, did I?"

He shakes his head, a watery laugh escaping his lips.

"No, Ash. I'm just... I'm really happy."

I blink, taken aback.

"Why?"

Adam's smile softens, a genuine joy radiating from him.

"Today is my first day at Beacon. My first day surrounded by so many humans."

He takes a deep breath.

"I thought I'd be fighting just to prove I belong here. But you... you just hugged me, in front of everyone. Like it was nothing and called me friend."

A single tear spills over, tracing a path down his cheek.

"I made a human friend on my first day. You have no idea what that means to me."

I blink in confusion. The Faunus's behavior is strange, especially for someone who's supposed to be a cold-blooded terrorist assassin. I try to pull away, but he tightens his grip on my shoulder, keeping me in place.

"Adam, can you-." I try to ask him to release me.

But the bull Faunus interrupts me, pulling me into another hug, softer this time, filled with gratitude.

"Thank you, Ash," he whispers, voice thick with emotion. "For being my friend."

"Okay…" I answer awkwardly, patting his back. "Can you let me go now?"

Adam pulls back abruptly, hands dropping to his sides.

"Sorry, I didn't mean to..." He drifts off, shrugging. "I got a bit carried away."

"It's fine," I lie, forcing a smile. "No big deal. But I really need to find a place to crash."

'Preferably far away from you.' I whisper mentally.

I turn to leave as Adam enthusiastically waves at me.

"Good night, new friend Ash!" His voice echoes off the walls, sincerity ringing in every syllable. "Can't wait to tell Blake about you."

I shake my head, a wry smile tugging at my lips. That went from zero to weird in record time.

I weave through the auditorium, mind racing, leaving Adam behind.

That wasn't the Adam Taurus I know… or thought I knew. The Adam from the series was cold, brutal, a terrorist with a bloody trail of destruction in his wake. This Adam? He's all warm smiles and genuine joy, like a damned puppy eager to make friends.

What the hell happened to turn the ruthless terrorist into this... this teddy bear? And why is he even here at Beacon?

I shake my head, trying to wrap my brain around the abrupt shift.

I'm so lost in thought, the world around me fades into a blur. The chatter of students dulling to a distant hum. My mind races, trying to reconcile the Adam Taurus I thought I knew with the one I just met.

Still deep in thought, not watching where I'm going. My foot catches on something, and I fall on my face.

SMACK!

I hit the ground hard, the impact jarring my bones. My aura flares, blocking the brunt of it, but the embarrassment stings worse than any physical pain.

"Watch where you're going, fuckface!" an oddly familiar feminine voice shouts. "You tripped on my bedroll."

Groaning, I push myself up, brushing off the dust.

"Sorry about that," I mutter, looking towards the source of the voice.

I stare, mouth slightly open, as my brain short-circuits for the second time today.

Sitting there, arms crossed and a glare fixed on her face, is a girl with porcelain skin and a petite frame. The first thought that jumps to my mind is that she's Weiss… but she isn't the heiress from the original show.

"Take a damn picture, cocksucker, will last longer," she mutters angrily. "The Atlas tabloids would eat that shit up."

She's stunning.

Those eyes... they're the first thing I notice. Red, like fresh blood, they gleam in the dim light, a stark contrast to her pale skin. They're not soft, not warm, but sharp, piercing, like a wolf stalking its prey. She sits in the shadows, but those eyes... they burn like embers in the dark.

Her hair, a waterfall of black, blends into the darkness, framing her face like a macabre halo. It's messy, wild, cascading down her shoulders in chaotic waves. The style, or lack thereof, suits her, emphasizing the sharp angles of her face, the severe line of her jaw, the slight point of her chin.

She's dressed in black from head to toe, a black tank top clings to her torso, revealing toned arms and a hint of cleavage. Her legs are encased in black pants, torn at the knees.

I'm a fan not just of the original RWBY series, but also the fanfics inspired by it. So, when I saw her, I instantly recognized who she was, as her name slips out in a blurb.

"Bleiss."

Her eyes narrow, suspicion flashing across her pretty face.

"Do I know you?" she demands, voice sharp as a blade.

I shake my head, snapping out of my daze.

"No, not really," I admit, scratching the back of my neck. "I just know you by reputation."

Bleiss rolls her eyes, a harsh laugh escaping her lips. She brings two fingers to her temple, massaging it as if fending off a headache.

"Oh that's just fucktastic," she mutters, voice laced with sarcasm. "Another fucking rat clout chaser after me. Just what I needed."

I can't help but chuckle at her irritation. She's so different from Weiss, so raw and unfiltered. It's refreshing, even if she is a bit prickly.

"You've got it all wrong." I say, raising my voice, catching her attention. "I stumbled here by accident, I'm not a stalker."

Bleiss's eyebrow arches, disbelief etched into every line of her face.

"Oh, really?" she drawls, leaning back on her hands. "So, you're not just another asshole trying to get your five minutes of fame by snapping a pic of the Schnee family's failure in the dumps?"

"No, never." I firmly deny it. "I'm not that kind of person, and I admire you too much to do something like that."

She blinks, surprise flickering across her face.

"Admire me?" she repeats, disbelief thick in her voice. "Now I know you are fucking with me."

I shake my head, a small smile playing at the corners of my mouth.

"I swear I'm being honest," I plea, looking into her eyes. "I truly admire and respect you."

Her eyes widen, shock replacing suspicion. She studies me, gaze sweeping from head to toe, as if seeing me for the first time.

"Are you retarded?" she asks. "Why would anyone admire me, and not one of my perfect bitchy sisters?"

"I have nothing against your sisters, but I think what you do is incredible." I begin, remembering most of the fics with Bleiss that I've read. "Standing up to your family, forging your own path, it takes guts to be true to yourself when everyone expects you to be someone else."

She blinks again, clearly at a loss for words. Then, a smile tugs at her lips, genuine and warm. It transforms her face, softening the sharp edges, replacing the harsh lines with a radiant beauty that steals my breath away.

"Thanks," she breathes, shaking her head. "You're not so bad."

I chuckle, extending a hand.

"My name is Ash Williams."

She reaches out, grasping my hand in a firm shake. Her skin is soft, but her grip is strong, confident.

"Bleiss Schnee, the black sheep of the Schnee family." She states with pride.

I laugh at the statement, so 100% in character for Bleiss.

"Man, you're great," I mutter, getting a chuckle out of her.

This is all so surreal, so different from the RWBY canon.

I was ready to tackle the story, but the curveball of Adam being at Beacon threw me off and shattered some of my future plans. Still, Bleiss's presence here gives me hope that some changes might be for the better.

"So, Mr. Williams..." she says, lowering her voice to a quiet, dry tone. "Are you here with someone, or are you alone?"

The sudden change in her behavior catches me off guard, but I quickly remind myself that this isn't unusual for Bleiss.

"I'm alone."

"Interesting," she replies, eyeing me up and down again, only this time with a strange intensity that makes the hairs on the back of my neck stand up.

I swallow hard as a chill runs down my spine.

"Well... if you'll excuse me, I need to-"

"Are you alone, alone?" she asks without blinking, her gaze locked on me.

"Alone, alone?" I repeat, confused.

"Are you hitting something?" Bleiss asks with a mischievous smile. "Or is your dick dry?"

"Say what?" I ask, worried.

"Cute, honest, and dumb," the red-eyed girl hums happily. "My favorite."

"Ha-ha." I laugh awkwardly, taking a step back. "It was nice meeting you, but I need to find my place to sleep."

I try to take another step back, but something tugs at my leg. I look down, brows furrowing in confusion as I see a strange, metallic black cord wrapped around my calf. My gaze follows it, landing on Bleiss, the other end coiled around her hand.

She pouts, feigning hurt.

"Aww, where do you think you're going, Ash?" She says, batting her eyes at me. "Leaving so quickly, you're going to hurt my feelings."

I stammer, nerves kicking in.

"I-I, uh, I n-need to find a place to crash."

Bleiss's eyes flick to my backpack and back to me, a smirk playing on her lips.

"Don't see a sleeping bag rolled up there, sweetcheeks."

I swallow hard, fearing that Bleiss's inner yandere has awakened and is focused on me. I try to play it cool.

"I don't mind the floor. I've slept on worse."

Her smirk deepens, eyes gleaming with amusement and thirst.

"Oh, hell no. I can't let you sleep on the cold, hard floor, Ash." She pats the bedroll beside her, grin widening. "You can bunk with me."

My eyes widen, shock coursing through me.

"I... I can't do that," I protest, shaking my head. "I can't sleep with a girl I just met. Especially not one as... as beautiful as you."

Bleiss laughs, loud and genuine, head thrown back.

"Aww, you're such a fucking gentleman, Ash," she says, eyes sparkling with joy as she licks her lips. "Makes me want you even more!" She punctuates it by yanking hard on the black rope.

I stumble, caught off guard by Bleiss's strength. I could overpower her, no doubt, but I don't want to hurt her. So, I let her tug me towards the bedroll, not resisting her enthusiastic pull.

POF!

I land face-first onto the softest sleeping bag I've ever felt. It's like falling into a cloud, miles better than the lumpy beds back at the orphanage. The scent of fresh laundry and a hint of something sweet, almost fruity, envelops me, relaxing my body.

Before I can react, Bleiss is on me, gripping my shoulders and pushing me onto my side. I let her manhandle me, as I'm too stunned to do something.

'I'm being harassed by a hot girl?' I think, shocked. 'That's so weird and kind of awesome.'

She flops down beside me, propping her head up with her left hand. Her eyes, those piercing blood red orbs, bore into mine, shining with amusement and something else. Something I can't quite put my finger on.

"Comfy, right?" she asks with a shit eating grin on her face.

I nod, swallowing hard.

"And a little scared." I admit with blushed cheeks.

Bleiss laughs, a musical sound that sends shivers down my spine.

"A little fear is good, Ash," she says, her tone shifting, turning serious and intimidating. She leans in, eyes narrowing, voice dropping to a low growl. "Fear makes you think twice before betraying me, before looking at other women."

I blink, confusion crashing over me like a tidal wave.

"But... we're not in a relationship," I protest, brows furrowing.

Bleiss reaches out, squeezing my nose between her thumb and forefinger.

"You're such a silly little man, Ash," she teases, grinning. She releases my nose, her hand cupping my cheek. Her thumb brushes against my skin, her touch surprisingly gentle. "Unlike my sisters, I always sought... 'male company'. I've been searching for a decent guy who makes my engine go for a long fucking time, and I'm not letting you go."

I shake my head, disbelief coursing through me.

"I'm just a regular guy, Bleiss. Nothing special."

Her eyes soften, a smile playing at the corners of her mouth.

"Oh, my sweet himbo," she coos happily. "You don't get it, do you?"

I blink confused as she leans in, her breath fanning across my face.

"I only attract self-centered assholes after the Schnee fortune, or shitheads looking for fame." She says in a somber tone. "You are a decent, handsome guy that weirdly enough respects me."

I stare at her, mouth slightly open, at a loss for words. She grins, leaning back, eyes twinkling with amusement.

"Close your mouth, sweetcheeks. You'll catch flies like that."

I snap my mouth shut, a nervous laugh escaping my lips.

"I... I don't know what to say."

Bleiss's grin widens, a chuckle rumbling in her chest.

"You don't need to say anything, Ash." Just relax and enjoy the ride of your life.

Her hand reaches my chest, feeling my muscles, making her purr with delight.

"And you're fucking ripped?" she asks, digging her nails into my chest with a wicked grin. "Momma likes it."

I could easily push her away and run, but I'm a virgin in this new life, who hasn't even been able to get 'alone time'. Living as an orphan with 20 guys as roommates makes that impossible. So how could I possibly try to escape a hot girl caressing me?

"B-Bleiss," I say, gathering all my willpower to try to stop her. "This is moving too fast, and people are watching us."

"I know," she admits, annoyed. "If it weren't for the spectators, I'd pop my cherry with you right now." She turns to me, licking her lips as a wide grin spreads across her face. "But a handy under the blanky will have to do… for now." She states like a lovely threat.

As her hand reaches down to my pants, a forced cough breaks the moment, drawing our attention.

"What do you think you are doing?" Complains a female voice, identical to Bleiss.

Bleiss sits, her hand never leaving my chest, and squares off with the 'W' of team RWBY, her twin sister, Weiss Schnee.

"Of all the fucking times," she growls, eyes narrowing. "What the hell do you want, sis?"

Weiss stands tall, her prim and proper demeanor a stark contrast to Bleiss's wild, untamed energy.

"It's not enough that you're here leeching off my plans," Weiss snaps, her voice sharp as a blade. "Now you're going to stain our family name with public indecency?"

Bleiss's expression darkens, a furious growl rumbling in her chest. But before she can unleash her wrath, I get up, gently removing her hand from my chest.

"Weiss has a point, Bleiss," I say, my voice steady. Bleiss's eyes widen, shock and betrayal flashing across her face. But I press on, turning to Weiss. "But you were also out of line, Weiss. Calling Bleiss a leech? That's too low."

Weiss's eyebrows shoot up, surprise etched into every line of her face.

"E-Excuse me?" she stammers, indignation radiating off her.

I face Weiss head-on, needing to look down a little because of our height difference.

"You heard me," I say, my voice firm. "You both need to apologize. You're sisters, for crying out loud. Act like it."

Bleiss and Weiss stare at me, mouths slightly open, shock written all over their faces. Then, they exchange a look, something unspoken passing between them.

Bleiss is the first to break the silence, a grudging respect in her voice.

"Fine," she mutters, looking away from Weiss. "I'm sorry, sis. I shouldn't have been so... enthusiastic in public."

Weiss's lips purse, her gaze flicking from Bleiss to me and back again. Then, she sighs, a soft huff of surrender.

"I apologize as well, Bleiss," she says, her voice softer than I've ever heard it. "I shouldn't have called you a leech. That was uncalled for."

Bleiss nods, a small smile playing at the corners of her mouth.

"Apology accepted," she says, then grins at me. "See that, Ash? I can play nice."

I chuckle, shaking my head.

"Glad to hear it," I say, then yawn, the day's events catching up with me. "Now, if you'll excuse me, I need to find a place to crash."

"Wait! Why?" Bleiss whines, but Weiss keeps staring at me curiously. "We can still 'just sleep' together."

I turn to Bleiss, a soft smile playing on my lips.

"Look, I really appreciate the offer, Bleiss. And believe me, it's tempting," I admit to her, but also to myself. "But I can't trust myself sharing the same sleeping bag with a hot girl like you, and I won't have you lying to your sister on my account. I need to find my own place to sleep."

Bleiss's eyes widen as stumbles back, hand clutching her chest as if I've physically wounded her.

"No!" she gasps, voice laced with disbelief.

Before I can react, she drops to her knees, arms outstretched, voice echoing through the room.

"NOOOOOO!!!" she wails, head thrown back.

I blink, taken aback by her dramatic display. Around us, students pause, their gazes flicking towards the commotion. Weiss watches, confusion etched into every line of her face.

"You just promised to do nothing with him. So why all the drama?" Weiss asks, her brows furrowed.

As I walk away, I hear Bleiss sobbing and explaining.

"I was gonna check out his dick while he was asleep."

"BLEISS!" Weiss shouts, horrified by her sister's confession.

Without much trouble, I find a quiet spot near a pillar, drop my bag, and finally get some sleep.

"This day was so weird." I whisper to myself. "I wonder what else is different from the original canon.

[#] I don't know if I've already mentioned this here: I landed a job, a good one. I'm back to teaching. My first day was magical, a wave of nostalgia hit me and made I wonder why I ever gave up being a teacher in the first place... By the end of the first week, I'd lost my voice and had kids puking on my sneakers... twice. Truly magical.

[#] It's finally here! 'RWBY NOT!' serialization.

[#] As always, Ko-fi subscribers have access to 5 chapters ahead, plans start at 1 dollar.

"Look at that weirdo," a girl shouted from afar, pointing at me. "What's he doing with that rock on him?"

"I think he's training," one of her friends said. "Looks like he's doing sit-ups with extra weight."

"Why?" she asked, laughing. "We already had training today. Why train more?"

"Don't mind him, girls," said a taller boy with indigo eyes and ginger hair as he approached me with his cronies.

He stopped a couple of steps away while I kept doing sit-ups on the floor, hugging the heavy rock against my chest.

"This loser is a charity case," he says, his voice dripping with rancor and disgust. "And with a useless Semblance like his, he needs every second of training he can get."

I kept going, ignoring the fifteen-year-old boy.

'If it weren't for my fear of breaking RWBY canon,' I think between one rep and the next, 'I'd cave your teeth in, Cardin.'

No one needs to tell me that my Semblance isn't the best for a direct confrontation. But what they don't know is that when it comes to training, I have the most OP Semblance of all.

Cardin's face darkens, eyebrows knitting together.

"Hey, I'm talking to you, piss-stain!"

I keep ignoring, focusing on my grind.

'Forty-eight, forty-nine... '

"Are you poor and deaf or just stupid?" Cardin sneers, leaning in with a smug grin. "You don't ignore people like me."

'Fifty.' I pause, looking up.

"Why?" I snap. "Gonna run and tell daddy his fag son got ignored by his crush?"

Cardin's face contorts. Behind him, his cronies snicker.

"You think you're funny, orphan boy?" He kicks dirt onto my sweat-soaked face. "I've taken down tougher and bigger shit-talkers than you."

I move the rock but keep laying down, wiping grit from my eyes.

"You mean in a fight or in your ass?" I ask with a shit eating grim on my face. "Either way I'm happy for you being out and proud like that."

"What?" Mutters Cardin, confused.

"Live your truth queen!" I say aloud, so everyone could hear. "You can take as many dicks as you want."

"Wait!" A girl in the background speaks loud enough for everyone nearby to hear. "Cardin Wintchester is GAY?"

Whispers spark around us, a mix of shock and amusement.

"That explains why he's always picking on that orphan," someone else murmurs. A few girls giggle, eyes darting between Cardin and me.

Cardin's face flushes a deep, angry red.

"I-I'm not... I don't... That's not why!" he stammers, then draws a deep breath, regaining his composure. "You think I'd be attracted to him?" He scoffs, lips curling in disdain.

I shrug, sitting on the floor.

"Relax, ginger boy." Dusting off my pants, I flash a grin. "I'm all about the ladies." I punctuate the line with finger guns aimed at the girls.

Most of them frown in disgust, but a few have eyes sparkling with new interest.

Cardin's fists tighten, knuckles cracking like gunshots.

"You're dead, orphan boy." He growls, cracking his knuckles again. "I'm gonna tickle you to death!"

"You what?" I ask, confused.

The bizarre threat freezes me in place, brain stuttering to process it. Before I can react, Cardin lunges and starts rubbing a finger across my abdomen.

"AYO, WHAT THE FUCK?!" I yell, as everything suddenly fades to white.

I wake up, gasping.

'Thank god it was just a nightmare.' I think, relieved as I open my eyes with blurry vision.

It was just a memory from my first year at Flare Academy, Vale prep school, probably dredged up from the depths of my subconscious. I was able to get into that school thanks to social programs and an Aura pool potential well above average according to the examiners.

Most of the students came from wealthy families, strutting around like aristocrats in a kingdom that hadn't seen royalty in decades. They were assholes, but they didn't really bother me all that much.

Now Cardin… he was 'the one asshole to rule them all', the GOAT of all assholes. If you are talking about being an asshole, he is 'HIM'.

'But where did that tickling thing come from?' I think, with my vision clearing. 'If he had done that at Flare, Beacon wouldn't have a Cardin here and I remember seeing that stupid ginger face yesterday.'

As soon as my vision clears I see the person responsible for my strange dream sitting on my pelvis, she quickly hides something with a red tip on her back.

"What are you doing, Bleiss?" I ask, stifling a yawn. "Was it you tickling me?"

"Maybe… just doing some stuff," she says vaguely, avoiding my eyes with one hand tucked behind her back. "You know how it is."

"No, I don't," I tell the girl in black. "Why are you on me, and what are you hiding behind your back?"

"It's not my fault, Babe!" Bleiss pleads, still keeping one hand behind her back. "I found you here all alone… shirtless, sleeping on the cold floor. I had to do something."

Her words carry a trace of real concern, and it gets to me.

Not many people in my life have ever shown me that kind of kindness. And hearing it from a beautiful girl who's actually into me makes me feel like the luckiest guy alive.

"Bleiss," I say, pushing myself up on my elbows, "I really appreciate it. But I'm hot all the time. And it's not like I have another shirt to change into before the initiation if I spend the night sweating through this one."

She scoffs, dramatic as ever, turning her face.

"Well, I couldn't just leave the love of my life being taken by the cold," She begins as she slowly turns her face towards me, her blood red eyes focusing intensely on my body. "Especially with this chiseled abs exposed." She whispers almost salivating. "So that's why I came to warm you up."

"Why not just give me a blanket?" I ask, raising an eyebrow.

Bleiss's blood-red eyes widen with an eerie, intense gleam. She leans in, her voice a sultry whisper.

"Because my way is so much more fun."

"What do you…?" I start, but the words catch in my throat as she begins to move, a slow, rhythmic grinding against me.

A gasp escapes me, surprise and pleasure mixing as my body responds. Heat rushes through me, and I can feel myself hardening beneath the crazy hot goth dryhumping me.

"Fuck Bleiss…" I moan in a whisper.

"I love when you say my name like that, Babe," She chuckles, a low, throaty sound. "And good to know you have a nice member to go with that cute face and chiseled abs."

"Bleiss, couldn't you wait?" I groan, bucking my hips, trying to disrupt her rhythm. "Its to earlier for this, even my alarm didn't go off.""

She throws her head back, laughter spilling from her lips.

"I know, I turned it off."

My eyes widen, and I stare at her in disbelief.

"You did what?"

She shrugs, a smirk playing on her lips.

"I don't see what is the big deal," she says, her voice breathless, "You even got a message from the Beacon administration."

"What?" I shout in panic, blood freezing.

I bolt upright, sending a yelping Bleiss tumbling to the floor.

"Ouch!" she complains, flopping onto her own ass.

I snatch up my scroll and see the urgent message.

"Admission Interview in 5 minutes. Shit!" I curse, adrenaline surging.

No time to brush my teeth, let alone shower. I grab my armored coat from the floor, slam it on, sling my backpack over my shoulder, and snatch Evildead.

"By Bleiss!" I shout as I dash.

"Ash, wait!" Bleiss calls, but I'm already out the door, sprinting down the hall. "You didn't even see what I did on you…" Schnee's voice fades behind me.

I could have avoided so many problems if I'd listened to her… or at least noticed what she was hiding behind her back.

"Congratulations on arriving on time, Mr. Williams," the vice principal said, her tone professional yet edged with disdain. "However, I must warn you, it was perilously close to being late for my liking."

'Maaaaaaaan.' I think holding my jaw so it doesn't fall, barely able to pay attention to what professor Goodwitch says. 'She is just as intimidating as she is stunning.'

She's not just a hot teacher, she's a fucking MILF goddess. The kind that rules over every teen's fantasies.

Her blonde hair yanked back in a merciless ponytail, baring those fierce, predatory green eyes that could burn through steel. Her suit clings to her curves like a second skin, so tight it's practically obscene. It's enough to make a grown ass man weep with joy, a teen choke on his own tongue, and a boy hit puberty in one raw, gut-punching look.

"Mr. Williams, are you listening?" Her voice, stern and commanding, snaps me back.

'Shit, how long have I been zoning out?' I lean back, trying to play it cool. A smirk tugs at my lips.

"Sorry, what did I miss?"

Her eyebrow arches, a silent warning.

Glynda's eyes bore into mine, her expression unreadable as she adjusts her glasses with her red long fingernails.

"Mr. Williams, I will address the matter directly. You represent one of four exceptional cases at Beacon Academy." She pauses for a second, letting the words settle. "Specifically, your profile is distinctive due to the absence of a background rooted in wealth or a hereditary lineage of Huntsmen and Huntresses."

I shift in my seat, unease prickling at the back of my neck.

"How can I be 'exceptional'? I got here through Vale's incentive program for the less fortunate." I lean forward, elbows on her desk. "You know, the one that promises a shot at being a 'Vale Defender'."

Glynda's lips purse, a flicker of something, maybe annoyance, crossing her face.

"Yes, Mr. Williams, I am well aware of the program," she says in a low, steady tone, her gaze fixed firmly on mine. "Such programs exist precisely for cases like yours, as well as those of Mr. Lie, Miss Valkyrie, and Miss Sustrai." Folding her arms, she continues with quiet authority. "But make no mistake, the four of you are exceptions, not the norm."

I swallow hard, a lump forming in my throat.

"Where are you going with this, Professor?"

"What I am saying, Mr. Williams, is that you should take pride in yourself." Glynda's expression softens, just a fraction. "Securing admission to Beacon Academy is a significant accomplishment, particularly for an individual with your… 'distinctive background'."

I snort at the 'distinctive' part of my background, but I hold back any laughter.

'Distinctive background 'is a great word to replace infamy and bad reputation.' I think, still keeping my poker face.

"Well, thank you, Professor. I appreciate-." I try to speak while standing up, but she cuts me off.

"There is no need to thank me, Mr. Williams." Her voice cuts cleanly through mine, precise and unyielding. Leaning forward, her gaze sharpens. "But understand this, should you ever offer anything less than your absolute best, you will answer directly to me."

'OH MY GOD!' I scream mentally. 'I have such a fear bonner right now. I have to change the topic to calm down.'

I force a cough, trying to hide my nerves.

"So, uh, what am I still doing here, anyway?" I ask, shifting in my seat. "Shouldn't there be some kind of initiation or something?"

Glynda's brow furrows, confusion flickering across her face.

"Initiation?" She repeats in curiosity.

I nod, trying to appear more at ease than I feel.

"Yeah, you know, like a challenge or something. Isn't that what you have to do to get accepted into Beacon?"

Glynda's lips press into a thin line, her eyes study me intently as she speaks.

"Mr. Williams, did you not find it unusual that so few individuals were in attendance at Professor Ozpin's address yesterday?"

"Yeah, I guess. I mean, there were only like... ten people there."

Glynda's eyebrow arches, a small smile on her lips.

"Twelve, Mr. Williams. There were twelve individuals present."

"Still," I nod, conceding the point."That seems pretty low."

Glynda's lips pursed, her expression thoughtful.

"On the contrary, Mr. Williams. Twelve is quite a significant number." She pauses, her eyes never leaving mine. "Especially considering we only have one team in the second year."

My eyebrows shoot up, surprise coursing through me.

"One team? That's it?"

Glynda leans back, her eyes gleaming with pride and determination.

"Beacon Academy is not merely a school, Mr. Williams. It is an elite training institution, where we cultivate the finest, the strongest, the most exceptional individuals to become the future guardians of Vale." Her voice resonates, filled with conviction. "We spare no expense, no resource, in honing these young men and women into formidable Huntsmen and Huntresses."

I blink, taken aback.

"But... What about everyone else? I mean, what happened to all the other kids from Flare Academy who didn't make the cut?"

Glynda's expression softens, a hint of empathy in her eyes.

"Those who do not meet our rigorous standards are given two choices, Mr. Williams." She pauses, her fingers tapping against her desk. "They can choose to have their Aura locked. As you know, individuals with unlocked Auras attract Grimm more frequently. It is a safer, albeit more restrictive, path."

I frown, the thought of having my Aura locked sending a shiver down my spine.

"And the second option?"

"The second option is to join the Vale Guard. It is a less glamorous path, but no less important. They serve as our military backbone, protecting our major cities and borders from constant threats."

I nod, a sense of relief washing over me.

"So, they still get to fight, just... differently."

Glynda's eyebrow arches, a hint of approval in her eyes.

"Precisely, Mr. Williams. Everyone has a role to play in the defense of our world. It is merely a matter of finding where one fits best."

I lean back, my mind racing.

'Is this complexity just not exposed by the original series or is it more evidence that Canon has already been completely screwed?' I question in silence thinking.

Glynda's voice slices through my thoughts, sharp and commanding.

"Mr. Williams, your academic performance, your exceptional combat skills, and..." She pauses, her fingers flicking in air quotes, "Personality have not gone unnoticed."

I straighten, eyes narrowing.

"In light of these factors, you have been selected to assume leadership of a team, Mr. Williams."

I blink, shock coursing through me.

"Wait, you want me to be a team leader?" I scoff, disbelief etched on my face. "You do know about my reputation in Vale, right?"

A small smile plays on Glynda's lips, her eyes gleaming with amusement.

"Oh, I am well aware of your… 'reputation', Mr. Williams." She says with a smile, fingers tapping lightly against her desk. "But let us not forget, Huntsmen and Huntresses are known for their… eccentricities. If a drunken, miserly bastard can become one of the most respected Huntsmen in the world, I see no reason why you shouldn't be able to lead a team and succeed."

My eyebrows shoot up, surprise flickering across my face.

"Whoa," I mutter, feeling awkward. "Thanks."

"As I mentioned before, Mr. Williams, there is no need to thank me." Goodwitch declares her tone becoming icy cold, her gaze piercing my soul. "Your position at Beacon Academy may grant prestige and privileges ,but with them come immense responsibility, and constant scrutiny from the faculty. We will be watching your every action, and any lapse will not go unnoticed. Anything less than excellence will not be tolerated."

I nod, a bead of sweat trickling down my spine.

Glynda's lips curve into a satisfied smile, her eyes gleaming with approval.

"Good, Mr. Williams. I see you understand the gravity of your new role." She stands, her chair scraping against the floor. "Now, head to the locker room and prepare."

I frown, confusion washing over me.

"Prepare? Prepare for what, exactly?"

Glynda's eyebrow arches, a hint of amusement in her eyes.

"Why, for the Rite of Champions, of course."

My eyes widened, surprise coursing through me.

"Rite of Champions?" I repeat, confused. "Whats that?"

"As a team leader, Mr. Williams, you will participate in a small competition in front of Vale's esteemed politicians and allies." Her lips curve into a sly smile. "Consider it your debut, a chance to prove your worth and showcase Beacon's finest."

"Maaan," I groan in frustration. "Can I at least have breakfast?"

"There's no time for that," she replies dryly.

"That would never have happened in the original canon," I mutter, standing up as the teacher gives me a confused look.

"Canon?" Glynda repeats, curiosity flickering in her eyes, as I leave the room.
