Blake's team want to keep her from running off to fight every white fang she can find in Vale so they convince her she needs to do research and investigations on them first.

Blake researches everything and anything she can find and eventually falls into being a conspiracy theorist, she's even got her own connections board.

"You don't understand Ruby it's the tuna industry! Why is the leader of menagerie a cat faunus? The leader of the white fang? The little old lady who runs the knitting club? It's because the tuna industry is manipulating things to put cat faunus in power that they can then control with mind control compounds in the tuna!"

what people think of this. Its my attempt at what would happened if jaune was even more devastated about not being able to kill Cinder
At haven

The air outside Haven Academy still smelled of smoke and blood. The battlefield was over—but victory didn't feel like victory. Weiss had gone looking for Yang, and Yang had gone looking for Jaune. It was Weiss who spotted him first.

He stood apart from the others, near the broken edge of a shattered courtyard wall. The cratered city sprawled below him, lit by dying fires. His armor was cracked, his sword hung limp in his hand.

"Jaune?" Weiss called, uncertain. He didn't move. Yang came up beside her, limping slightly, Ember Celica dented from the fight. "What's he—" She stopped mid-sentence when Jaune raised the sword, point turned toward himself.
"No…" Weiss whispered. They ran as fast as possible. Jaune didn't turn until they were almost upon him, his eyes empty and glassy, reflecting the broken moon.

"She's gone," he said softly. "I had her killer right there, right in front of me. And I still couldn't do it. I couldn't even avenge her."

Weiss shook her head, voice trembling. "Jaune, what you did—what we all did—saved lives. You can't—"

"I failed her!" he snapped, sudden and raw. "I trained, I fought, I bled—and it wasn't enough! Pyrrha's gone because I wasn't strong enough to protect her. And now I can't even finish what she started."

Yang's tone softened, her fists lowering. "You think dying fixes that? You think she would've wanted that?"

He laughed bitterly, tears streaking through the grime on his face. "She wanted me to live. And I can't even do that right."

Weiss stepped closer, hands out, cautious like approaching a wounded animal. "Jaune… I lost people too. I've seen friends fall. You don't honor them by throwing yourself away. You carry them with you."

Yang moved to his other side, her voice low and trembling. "Look, I wanted Cinder dead too. But ending your story here doesn't bring anyone back. It just leaves the rest of us without you."
Jaune's grip on his sword wavered. "I don't deserve to be here."

Weiss reached for him, aura flickering faintly. "You do. You're still here because you were meant to be. Because Pyrrha believed in something inside you—and so do we."

Yang took another step, her voice breaking. "You're not alone anymore, Jaune. Not ever again. So don't you dare go where we can't follow."

For a long heartbeat, the world was silent.
Then Jaune's sword slipped from his fingers, clattering against the stone. His legs buckled, and he fell to his knees.

Weiss caught him, pulling him close as the sobs finally came—deep, shaking, years overdue. Yang knelt beside them, wrapping both arms around the two of them as the fires of Haven guttered out in the distance.

Three Huntsmen, scarred but still standing.
For the first time since Beacon, Jaune cried not because he'd lost someone—
but because someone had stopped him from losing himself.

You know, CRWBY never really got into detail WHY Crocea Mors was so important. Jaune keeps saying it is an Heirloom passed through generations, but we never really get any good pay out for it being a "really old sword". Someone could argue that it represents Jaune's Character drive, from trying to emulate being a hero, to revenge, to protecting the people he loves. (whomever is left) But let's be real, I expected more.

One way I keep thinking of making Crocea Mors special is by creating a connection between it and the Relic of Destruction. Imagine this: after Joanne Arc (the last Summer Maiden) used the Sword of Destruction to "kill" Salem in the Ages of Old. Looking at the devastation she created Joanne separated the sword into two parts. The Blade and the Hilt. Searching for a good replacement she embeds the powers of the summer Maiden into a new hilt and gives the blade to Ozymandias (Ozma's name at the time). Due to the blade's magic signature (less than it normally was but still suffocating) and it's recent use, the hilt was never questioned.

Now where does Joanne hide the real hilt? In Crocea Mors. This allows the family sword to be more durable than any other blade. This backstory would allow Jaune a Relic Retrival Arc of his own, getting some REAL character development in. Plus, we can still have Jaune falling into the Ever After, but he uses this time the train with the SoD and his swordsmanship to its peak. Hell, let him abuse the "fighting yourself" aspect of the tree. Instead of the Rusted Knight, we would get the Sword Saint. (Jaune could even ask the blacksmith to reforge the SoD into a new sword, one not connected to the brother gods but just as powerful.)

And perhaps it was an expression of her desperation to be free, she might never do it personally, but she clings to the idea that she could, that the only reason she doesn't is because she likes things as they are, with an unhealthy obsession.

Blake tentatively approaches NTR-play with Jaune and he sweeps her off her feet - a pirate captain stealing the princess away, a foreign knight ravishing a kunoichi clan heiress, an Atlesian specialist stealing away a faunus crimelord's woman...

I'd say something internal, like literally having the heart or voice of a lion. Blake obviously thinks it's his genitalia, does she convince the rest of her team?

Blake: "A-HA! I knew it! Your faunus part is...is...great googly moogly, it's like that when soft?!"
Jaune: "Blake, what the hell?!"
Blake: "If...if it goes into Blake...Blake will be...broken...domestic...only good for bearing kittens..."

Pyrrha: *at the gym* "How strange, I had this sudden urge to break every bone in Blake's body."

Nora stole borrowed some of Weiss dust she was using in class for small experiments.

Weiss came looking for it and Nora panicked and buried it then promptly forgot about it.

A few months later and weird plants are growing around beacon. Like flowers that when you pick them let you throw fireballs.

(Nora made some of the Mario power ups)

Jaune: 'I'm Blake Belladonna and I think everyone should work on their flaws except me.'

Blake: … Like what?

Jaune: When you have to come up with an answer to a tough question on the spot you shut down. When you think you know best you don't shut the fuck up about it. When someone does something you disagree with you explode about it behind their back rather than communicate with them.

Silly idea:

- Yang goes through a "growth spurt" and Ruby becomes envious, so she decies that she drinks more milk, and to get enough of it she starts stealing milk from other rooms, the cafeteria, etc.
Ruby steals more and more milk, until she steals literally all of the milk at Beacon, and they can't bring in and store any milk for more than an hour before it "dissapears".

The Loss 2 New
Here is my second part for jaune arc dealing with his failed attempt.

The first week at Saphron's house was a delicate balance between rest, small training, and learning to breathe again. Jaune's steps were careful, deliberate—sometimes too careful. His armor had been cleaned, but his limbs ached more often than not, and he found himself winded after even short walks.

Saphron fussed over him constantly, making sure he ate enough, drank enough, and slept, while Ruby hovered like a shadow, asking him to spar or practice just a little, just to keep moving.

Weiss and Yang took on a more subtle, protective role. Weiss fussed over his posture, adjusting his armor straps, offering cooling compresses after the small training sessions. "You can't push yourself too hard," she scolded quietly one afternoon. "Your body hasn't recovered from Haven, and your aura, your strength. It's not fully back yet."

Yang, meanwhile, was more physical in her approach, showing up beside him when he walked, lending him her shoulder when his knees felt weak. "C'mon, Arc, one step at a time," she said, her hand firm on his back as he struggled to keep his balance. "I've got you."

Jaune would laugh softly at their fussing, but there were moments—quiet moments in the early mornings or late at night—when he admitted to himself how much he needed it. How much he needed them.

One afternoon, Saphron returned from the market carrying a small bundle. "Meet your nephew," she announced, placing the squirming boy into Jaune's arms. Jaune froze, the boy's tiny fingers wrapped around his own, and Jaune felt a warmth he hadn't felt in months… and a weakness he hadn't expected. His arms trembled slightly under the boy's weight, and a quiet panic hit him.

"Uh… okay," he muttered, his voice tight. "I… I've got this." Ruby bounded forward. "You're doing great, Uncle Jaune!" Nora hopped up, practically bouncing. "He likes you already!"

Yang and Weiss exchanged a look. Yang's grin faltered as she leaned closer, whispering, "Look at him… he's… he's so careful with him."

Weiss's arms folded around herself, tone clipped but betraying concern. "He's… delicate. And you… you're still fragile yourself. Be careful."

Jaune laughed nervously, rocking the baby slightly. "I… I'll be fine… I think." Yang stepped closer, hand brushing his arm. "Hey, don't pretend you're fine. You're recovering, Arc. Let us help you."

Weiss joined him on the other side, her fingers brushing his hair back from his damp forehead. "We're right here. You don't have to do this alone."

For the first time in months, Jaune let himself lean into their care. The baby gurgled happily, unaware of the weight of battles lost and survived, and Jaune smiled softly, allowing his body to relax despite the lingering aches.

---
By evening, the baby asleep and the house quiet, Jaune sat by the fire, muscles sore and energy low, while Weiss brought him a warm cloth for his forehead and Yang propped his shoulders with a pillow.

"You're doing better," Weiss said softly, tone almost gentle. "But you need to rest."
Yang nudged him playfully. "Yeah, you're not saving the world tonight. Let the rest of us handle it for now." Jaune leaned back, letting the two of them fuss over him, letting himself feel weak and cared for. For once, he didn't have to be strong.

And both Weiss and Yang, watching him settle, hearts unexpectedly tugged, realized that the man before them—still recovering, still fragile, still human—was the same one who had survived Haven and carried them all through so much. And somehow, that made him… even more remarkable.

You know, on a semi-related note, I stumbled across a fanfic once where both Weiss and Yang took one look at Adrian and went baby crazy (it is understandable, living on a death world and almost dying violently multiple times probably does wonders for your desires to pass on your genes).

A few ideas for the Councilman Arc universe:

-Robyn Hill is a minor government official from Atlas who comes out to try and connect with Jaune. It doesn't go well.

-Prunella Glocken needs to be shown to be more evil. How do we do it?

-Rufus Winchester tries to set Jaune up with his hot older daughter. His friends and Cardin work together to keep this from going anywhere.

The first thing any Huntsmas is taught is that their semblance is a unique expression of their soul. But what does that mean? Is a semblance something you are born with, based on an aspect of your being that will never change, or is the soul something more mutable, defined by the circumstances it goes through? Most believe that the truth falls somewhere between the two, but that leaves room for change. Perhaps if Yang had been trained with a focus on discipline, her semblance would have manifested differently, allowing for her accumulated charge to be released in short by controlled bursts, or it could have manifested as a more minor but long-term buff when struck. For a much more extreme example, I imagine RK!Jaune would not manifest at all the same semblance if his aura got reset. Maybe he would have something reflects the years he endured the Ever After, either by inflicting the weight of time on others or by rendering himself utterly unbreakable. Or perhaps his semblance would reflect his grief, a belief that he only brings death, and makes it so that nothing can fully resist his attacks, and so that the wounds they inflict cannot be erased by supernatural means. As for how this could apply to canon, there are two ways I see:

The first would be a group that tries to shape young individuals to create the semblances they desire, weapons to use on their foes. I imagine the most likely culprits would be Mantle from the Color Wars, Atlesians who follow that belief, a mad scientist like Merlot or Watts, the White Fang, or one of the other cults/extremist organizations running around.

The second is connected to the Ever After and Ascension. When Ruby ascended, she ultimately chose not to be made into someone else, but unless I'm mistaken, she was still taken apart and put back together by a god, and that's not something that can leave you entirely unchanged. The simplest option would be that when Ruby is remade, her aura comes into existence with a blank slate, and she gets a new semblance. It would still be connected to her old one, and serve a similar purpose, but it wouldn't be the same, and would reflect an older and more experienced Ruby. (This assumes Ruby is allowed to keep her character development for more than a season, of course) The next option would be for her Silver Eyes to be touched by the Blacksmith's power, becoming something more than they were before. The third would be for all of Ruby's power to get twisted together, giving her a new semblance and Silver Light that she can channel through her semblance in a much more intuitive fashion than her previous blasts of Light. In any case, you have something lost and something gained, and you have a potential solution to Salem: the Relic of Knowledge knows everything about Remnant and the Brothers' creations, but now Ruby has something of the Ever After, of the Blacksmith, which means something the relic could not have accounted for.

How else could this concept be brought into a story, besides semblance evolutions?

In order:

Unwell for whom? Part of me assumes she'll disclose government secrets just to screw over Ironwood. But I also see her saying something about Faunus (didn't she call Marrow 'Fido' or something in the show?) when it's Blake's turn to be Jaune's bodyguard. Or she attempts to guilt Weiss into something and it fails spectacularly, Weiss, being musically talented, responds with a diss track on the spot and and the mic that Lisa Lavender somehow snuck into Jaune's office recorded all of it. Or, maybe Robyn and friends are all laid low by a fervent bout of self-consciousness when suddenly surrounded by legitimately nicer and more attractive women, and are thus incapacitated and miss the meeting, thereby staining Atlas' international reputation.

How to make Prunella more evil? In the political or the personal dimension? She got elected, so that's kind of dispositive evidence that she probably launders a ton of money she got via insider trading through non-profits and charities owned by her staffers and their relatives (these charities, often floundering, will, predictably, guilt their volunteers into working longer hours as volunteers rather than employees - only the staffers/staffer relatives are employees, and their salaries make up 97 - 98% of the charity's operating expenses).

On the personal level, have her first response to everything be a threat, and her first response to any genuine threats to her personal well being be begging for mercy. This will demonstrate that she is cruel when she can get away with it, but in order to thrive she depends on most other people in her ecosystem being more decent than her. This also makes her uniquely vulnerable to Cinder's manipulations. Cinder, who can - thanks to Salem and thanks to your other man, Aldric, can threaten Prunella's life at a moment's notice. So if Prunella puts up any resistance to Cinder and they don't just mirror and mimic each other in the way that the self-absorbed do when among their own, Cinder has an immediate means to compel obedience, one that Prunella won't even think to question.

#3 sounds hilarious. I can only imagine half of Rufus' friends think that this is a half-cocked attempt to restart the monarchy and Cardin's objection is obvious.

Basically we make Robyn just a total disaster who fails at her mission. She's been claiming she's a victim and champion of the underclass for years to get her political position so she's an utter failure at it all.

Honestly though, Prunella is based on Cruella deVille and she's supposed to be the key to Cinder bringing down Beacon. So yeah, she's absolutely corrupt. Pretends to be for Faunus rights with her non-profits that are all money laundering. I was thinking of more things she would do to try and undermine Jaune and so forth.

And yeah, it would be a total disaster.

When it comes to Robyn I do like what @Pastah-Farian did with her in one of his stories. He made Robyn the last living descendant of the old Mantle Royal Family. It makes her much more fascinating while also giving her multiple story hooks that any good writer would use.

You can also count this for rusted knight jaune.
Not only he was in a magic/divine satuated environment for a long time, and eat the food there as well. He was also changed by the blacksmith with the help of the remains of ajax to regain his youth using the remains of her soul.
So the question is how would the remains of a soul being grafted to jaune soul effect him.
And who knows what else the blacksmith could do with his soul doing the joining

Prunella proceeds to seriously creep out Salem by insisting she bring out the Beowulf puppies.

Even Tyrian is freaked out.

The northern tundra of Solitas was silent — a cathedral of frost and wind where the world itself seemed frozen in prayer. Beneath the endless white, deeper than any mine had dared to dig, men from the Schnee Dust Company had broken through the last layer of ice and found something that shouldn't have existed.
A mysterious cavern, it was so bright inisde as if it was a world of light. The poor souls that cracked it opened first are now permanently blinded, their minds shattered. All they will say
Is that the light will come for us all, Praise the light.

Once it dimmed after the initial burst of light. It pulsed like the heart of Remnant itself — a pool of liquid radiance, swirling in hues of blue and silver, its surface alive with whispers that carried on the air. The engineers had no words for it. The scientists had too many. Only one man saw it clearly, an opportunity.

Jacques Schnee stood at the edge of the abyss, the glow from below painting his pristine white coat in ghostly colors. The ice reflected a fractured, shimmering version of his face — cold, calculating, untouched by awe.

Behind him, the rhythmic click of metal boots echoed through the chamber.
Dr. Merlot adjusted his spectacles, eyes alight with feverish curiosity.

"Magnificent, isn't it?" he whispered, almost to himself. "The readings… it's not Dust. Not Aura. Something older, purer. The air hums with creation. Can you feel it, Mr. Schnee?" Jacques's gaze never left the pool. "I can only feel cost, and danger. Tell me if it's even worth all that. "

Merlot leaned forward, a dark spark in his eyes. "You think in ledgers. But think of legacies. This… this could reshape the very nature of life. Imagine a pool that builds rather than destroys — something that can be harnessed, amplified. Imagine the power to strengthen bodies, amplify souls, even grant humans the ability to generate Dust themselves."

A low hum rose from the cavern, as though the light itself agreed. Jacques's gaze fell again to the pool. "Soldiers who never tire. Miners who never fail. Hunters loyal to the company alone." He smiled, small, deliberate, predatory. "You're saying I could make them?"

Merlot's grin returned, sharper than ever. "With time. And blood." From his coat, he produced a small vial. Inside, a droplet of the glowing liquid hovered, pulsing with its own heartbeat. "A fragment of the pool. Alive, Mr. Schnee. It wants to bond. To build."

The vial cast Jacques's face in divine blue, and for the first time, something flickered behind his calm exterior — not fear, but hunger. "And you're certain it can be contained?"

Merlot chuckled softly. "Contained? No. Guided, yes. With the right vessel." Jacques repeated, "The right vessel?" "Subjects," Merlot said simply. "Human. Faunus. Those with strong Aura or strong will. Desperation helps — it breeds survival, adaptability, strength."

Jacques exhaled, watching his breath curl in the icy air. "Then find me some. Quietly. Prisoners. Laborers. Atlas doesn't question where its failures go, and I won't answer if anyone asks about this one." Merlot's grin widened. "Discretion — the finest currency."

He turned back to the pool, eyes reflecting the glow. "One day, Mr. Schnee, the world will call this a miracle. A second genesis. And your name will be the first written in its history."

Jacques adjusted his gloves, voice cold as the ice around them. "I'm not interested in history, Doctor. I'm interested in patents."
Merlot laughed quietly, the sound echoing through the cavern long after Jacques's footsteps faded. Alone, he knelt before the pool.

It pulsed again — as if sensing him. The hum grew into a whisper, ancient, a voice that was not human.
…create…

Merlot froze. Then, with a trembling smile, he removed a glove and dipped a fingertip into the liquid. The light flared — blinding, holy, terrifying. Whispers became a chorus.

"Oh yes," he murmured, reverent and unhinged. "We will." The cavern trembled. Cracks spidered across the ceiling as a column of azure light erupted upward, piercing the frost and storm above.

Far above, Jacques paused on the lift as the light reached him, illuminating his pale eyes. He did not flinch. He simply adjusted his tie and smiled.

In the depths below, the world began to change.

It makes her much more fascinating
I don't know what trope it is but it's a top tier one for me. Essentially a royal/noble or whatever who knows the sins of their parents or grandparents and whatnot and tries to make it right. Success of that repayment depends on their own personal competence.

Robyn as a lost daughter undergoing some Anastasia type stuff, for me at least, explained her desire to do whatever it took for Mantle. That and the loyalty her team-mates had with her, her most loyal yeomen.

We need RWBY DLC in MK?

So Vacuo has the Crown who are descendants of both Sunderer the first king and the last queen which was thrown out not executed for sucking as a queen but kept alive due to her related to Sunderer

Jaune who related to Vale Royalty and competence incarnate

Princesses Blake First of her name the shitty kitty

and Robyn last royal of Mantle?

To continue the meme: we can't forget the microtransaction infestation and the utter spinelessness in the character design that would come after 2011.

Number 2: So, the activist types are always just upper-crust brat gangs larping as rebels or whatever? That is hilarious.

Also, Count made AI art again, and I think I can get away with posting it here this time.

So, a brief explanation is that I had been trying to make Neon Katt for Whitley's harem.

We've kicked around the idea that Neon wants a sugar daddy here before, and there was a post dropped some time ago with a picture about Neon rescuing Whitley.

I personally liked the idea, but I'm getting off track. I made about ten attempts but none of them came out quite right (tail missing, hair screwed up, etc.) Except for one. And I decided it was good. This is Neon Schnee. A few years into a happy marriage.

I picture Whitley as spoiling her, which she encourages, because she really likes living the good life.

Formulating a Whitley harem idea, it will be a small harem, so manageable. Three, maybe four girls at most. I will flesh it out more tomorrow

Here is part 2 of my ff7 inspired idea

SDC Research Facility — Atlas Sublevel 17

The air smelled of metal, frost, and sterilized fear. Rows of glass pods lined the chamber, each pulsing faintly with the same blue-white radiance that had been drawn from the northern tundra. Inside them, silhouettes twitched, breathed, and dreamed in liquid light.

Dr. Merlot stood before one of the pods, clipboard in hand, his smile razor-thin. "Subject A-07. Male. Faunus. Notable Aura compatibility. Psychological profile: violent tendencies, anti-human sentiment. Perfect instability for adaptation."

He tapped the glass. The body within floated still — a young man with crimson hair drifting like a flame through water. The bull's horns had been shaved down, half-hidden by bandages. Tubes traced veins of silver across his skin, feeding into the glowing veins that pulsed beneath.

"Adam Taurus," Merlot said softly. "Let's see if the light can tame the beast." A hum filled the room as the containment seals opened. The luminous liquid drained, leaving Adam gasping on the platform, his eyes snapping open — no longer red, but shimmering with fractured blue.

Technicians backed away as he collapsed, coughing. His voice came hoarse, hollow. "What… what did you do to me?" Merlot leaned down, expression almost paternal. "We improved you. You were lost, angry, broken. The light cleanses such impurities. How do you feel?"

Adam blinked. His heartbeat echoed — not in his chest, but everywhere. In the walls. In the hum of the machinery. In the light itself. "Calm," he said finally. Confused, but true. "I feel… calm."

"Excellent," Merlot murmured. "You'll serve the Company well. You'll protect, not destroy. You'll find meaning in your strength — purpose in your obedience."

Weeks passed. Adam healed, trained, obeyed. The hatred that once burned in him now flickered low, replaced by a strange serenity. He fought for the SDC's security forces — fast, efficient, unstoppable. They called him Project Dawn and Jacques? He was pleased.

The Company lavished their loyal subjects with luxury: personal quarters, new weapons, even artifical families crafted for morale stability. To the world, they were elite soldiers. To the SDC, they were living prototypes.

But sometimes, in his dreams, Adam heard the whispers again , the same voice that had called to Merlot in the cavern.
It repeats faintly "…create… serve… ascend…"

He would wake drenched in sweat, eyes flickering between blue and red. For a moment, the hatred returned, faint, fragile, human. Then it would fade, swallowed again by the light.

Ironwood is an amazing father figure, just not a tactician [Lelouch/Shikamaru he is not]
