The name seemed familiar so I checked his post history. I did read one of his stories. And one of his last handful of posts, was one of my stories. I didn't know him well, but I hope it brought him some enjoyment. I hope it made him smile once or twice at least.

I'm sure he did, bringing smiles to our faces with a little silly fun in the creativity of our members, I'm sure each of us appreciates the little moments of joy and fun we share with each other.
 
Andrew Garfield once talked about how grief is just the unexpressed love still within us for those that have passed, because we never have enough time. Whatever time you have free to do so, spend it with those you cherish. Be it here on QQ, on your other internet circles of choice, or in real life; never take the time you have with others for granted.

May the day come when cancer is but a far off dream of the human race.

Silver Swallow, may you find peace in whatever lies beyond this life.
 
I didn't know him, but he has my respect and my grief that he had to face such a thing. My father died of cancer and it was not easy. My thoughts to his family and to he himself, wherever he may be. He fought well and hard.
