ADVENT believed that the Earth was pacified and in the absence of the XCOM Project they were mostly correct. The return of XCOM was well within expected parameters, even the return of the vaunted Commander was mostly accounted for. It was the entirely unconnected human with power that was completely unknown to ADVENT that truly threw a metaphorical wrench in the Elders Plans.
This is my first foray into the world of Celestial/Gacha fics and the first in the 'Divine Smith' anthology. Got a fire lit under me and I busted this out in about a week, which is pretty damn fast for my writing speed.
Anyway, pretty standard setup for the Celestial Forge: 1500 words equals 100pts to be rolled and possibly spent in the Forge. As I started the Story with three free rolls no points were gained this chapter. The standard accumulation and rolling will begin next chapter, also I swear that I did not pick the first three perks. I used a randomized roller and I just so happened to pull three that had surprising synergy and utility. See the notes at the bottom for the list of Perks I gained this chapter and at some point I'll probably be creating a separate document of all the various Perks I end up accumulating throughout the story.
