Taylor could use her clones to walk the surface, that's not what I was refering to, but rather due to the strain from no longer being connected to QA to handle the various non-instinctive inputs and the minutia that it can deal with exceedingly easily, Taylor is a bit more limited in controlling too many altered servants unless she is reconnected to QA, as for why QA wouldn't connect to the Taylor clones, it would require a significant degree of altering the brain chemistry to be nearly identical to Taylor or need to use Bonesaw/Panacea level alterations in order to reconnect. That isn't to say that Taylor can't however simply alter a body to make it a complete clone of herself, and in truth here she could have as well with enough alteration combined with the Crimson change being modified to allow for some control of how the growth manifests, but for modesty reasons she kept the fur.
