It all starts with a random rift. At least a random portal for each world. And then, crazy things happened as a result: mass incursion, Zero Point being destroyed, legions of glitches appearing out of nowhere, decaying of the dimensional boundaries, phenomena spread into the wrong universes, the fragmenting of the existence itself, the attack of the alternative timelines, etc... When all worlds are being under attack by everyone from their universes, each band of heroes puts themselves into a difficult position and recruits and unites everyone from their alternate universes, alternate multiverses and of alternative existences to wage war in the omniverse of madness, that inconceivably threaten all of the very omniverse itself. And with the fate of the omniverse in their hands, they will together face all their greatest challenges ever yet from his dream world anyone could have ever imagined… and beyond. It's not just for survival, salvation and for our sake - it's for destiny.

Hello there, as sponsored by the Continuum Exploitation Authority. This is a massive thread for a massive, would-be global collaborative project by me, Absolute Rainbow (who was permanently banned from SpaceBattles primarily for my activist behaviors at the time - don't ask why outside of DM), as part of my ongoing dream to push the "most ambitious crossover ever" to the absolute extreme upper limit (by actually being the most ambitious crossover ever, of course). It's about "The tales between worlds", currently spearheaded in fanfiction.net with fics that doubles as blueprints and actual multi-cross fanfics. (FFN was chosen for its crossover variety and simple format, by the way)

Let's Be Heroes), Fusionfall, Super Robot Wars, Homestuck (at least partially), Ready Player One (both books and movie(s)), Shinza Bansho, Doctor Who, Gainax and TRIGGER (and Kharas (of Rebuild of Evangelion)) as a whole, Dodge Greenley himself (both Pibby and Crisis on Infinite Mirths), Super Hero Time (thus Super Hero Taisen), Team Teen (by Alex D., a.k.a. DToons Productions), Anime War (by MASTAR Media), WesleyTRV: Warzone (by Wesley Vianen, a.k.a. WesleyTRV), Fanfictasia (by ArtSpear Entertainment), Dreamcatcher franchises by NeonStar02/Laher78 and Taylor Jolicoeur, the entirety of Trope Pantheons (from TV Tropes), the Ultimate Showdown of ultimate density (literally), and so much more, the TTBW project features people from across all realities helping the CXA protect all existence from absurdly powerful (ROB-level?) threats, while said threat attempts to somehow end it all. And yes, the project simultaneously are canonical (as in at least extra-canonical, akin to Evangelion stuffs) to virtually all of fiction AND cross over with so many other multi-cross stuffs, AT THE SAME TIME.

I am Daigo, the mask maker. Pechy Comet, Amaya Shadow, the Warrior King and Ms. Continuum, have all chosen to atune me and my siblings. And also, I was at Base Alpha. He, the Dark Presence, should take back those swarm - the onimorphs, demonic bugs from the cut tentacle all the way to invading the Island. I'll take the power he injected me with through my arrogance, and I already swore not to be THAT arrogant again. I nearly lost everything myself, and... if the Darkbolts win, I could finally lose everything and... die horribly. I gotta temper myself.
We cuffed the revenant for killing off a bunch of innocent but strong warriors. Doom is worried sick. It took secretly godly effort to save the Inklings and Octolings. I gave the dark mask to Synthwave. Ms. Continuum was requested to loop through: CXA lasts each of this day every 22 minutes - the length of a full Loop, as Jones scolded me about. This break has lasted five full weeks already - enough time to recruit the entire O.X.R., based on the timeline we ended up in thus far. We have had to have every options at our disposal. Meanwhile, the Deadly Alliance and the Keepers of Time are checking on the other Islands. O.X.R. and the Supernovas are working with the full alliance for some ways to... uh... I can't think about it, not helped because they... didn't tell me.
A masked and more punky and gruffer Kendo, in blue and wielding the Typhoon Blade, went from the stars (*1) to...
Location: Oninoshima (鬼の島), Reality-783
And Jade too. Actually, she's turned demonic and red again, but this time on her own - she can control herself better now. It was all thanks to Ms. Continuum manipulating the powers of the Dark Presence, though some has suspected that Magnifico is counting on her to corrupt the siblings.
"Brother, report from the O.X.R." Kendo arrived with his sister.
The siblings are in the Outlaw Oasis, alongside Kaguya.
"It's a gorgeous day! The efforts of us alliance have paid off so far-!" Kaguya is carried away.
"Mister Quartz, the report from O.X.R.!" Jade called Kaguya. "Mine is from Mr. Kadoya, a.k.a. Decade!"
"Oh really? Decade bringing report to me?" Kaguya noticed.
"What's the report is all about?" Daigo asked his younger brother.
"The general and the Jolicoeurs have something to tell us." Kendo revealed. "Get to the HQ and listen to what they have to say."
"Are you sure-"
"There's no time! We have no time to waste!"
The ronin then rushed to the O.X.R. HQ.
"Too bad it won't fit all of us. Not even with the inkfish and shrunken Shugods." Daigo shook his head.
One hour later, and indeed the HQ is too small. Far too small. The mechs all have to be outside, while the members spilled out to the Academy. The regular members of the O.X.R., led by the general Onyx Winter, sat down with the Jolicoeurs and friends.
"Listen up, everyone. We have a plan." 2025!Peachy cut to the chase, interrupting the general before she could talk.
-*sigh* "You couldn't just wait for me to signal..." Onyx facepalmed.
"You probably already know what's really happening." Taylor shrugged.
BGM: For the O.X.R.!
"O.X.R., and all the guests... ATTENTION, SOLDIERS!" Onyx takes over. "It is in our notice that after the bugs have been driven away with our efforts, there is a party seeking to exterminate us. That party is in possession of unimaginably powerful sources of magic and phenomenas."
The announcement is broadcasted literally EVERYWHERE the alliance holds.
"Is it with paranoia and righteous fury that we are holding this broadcast for a plan to stop the party before it nuke all of reality, from beyond the Island." Onyx continued. "Tomorrow we commence Operation: [CENSORED]!"
Seriously? Why the censor? It's not a swear word! Taylor is baffled.
Uhhh... Miss O.X.R. (*2), why did you censor this? 2025!Ron facepalmed. It is not a swear word. Knock it off, lick in and remove this censor.
"Operation: [CENSORED] will involve something so drastic, only our current benefactor, the Continuum Exploitation Authority, have the guts to constantly do..."
"What's it?" Daiji looked up the hologram broadcasting the announcement.
"We're going to hire time itself. Bring everybody's forces to fight the party." Onyx revealed the endgame. "And we have less than 48 hours left to get ready. If we fail, it's not just the Island that dies - all that has been, would be, is and will be will wither away."
"The Darkbolts are only going to spare their remain forces. No one else. There will be no mercy, but instead, rifted nuclear bursts that will shatter all continuities, shredding all of existence with... the last dream wish." Taylor added. "Instead of simply the Dark Presence trying to shatter reality, the Darkbolts are going to attempt an mega-omnicide. They're causing... Armageddon."
"Armageddon..." Lieutenant Ripp Slade - previously Battlehawk of the Advanced Forces - growled in rage. "And we thought the bugs..."
"Lieutenant, listen." *clears throat* "As you may have known, the party has already targeted numerous versions of all that be, and presently have exterminated almost everything. We are among their final targets... like bugs waiting to get revenge on respective rangers. No Island is safe now. The nuclear attack will reach our sky." Onyx continued. "We have no choice but to match forward and end the party. If we have to summon the demon master behind the bugs, so be it."
"We have to use the Loop to recruit everyone! It's our best shot yet!" Jones shouted.
"Royals, rangers, inkfish, godheads and players! It's the last straw, so we make it count!" Eric declared, in anguish and rage. "Darkbolts must be exterminated! Day 14 is when Magnifico finish the job! If we lose, we die, and he and his party will wipe all!"
"You know the drill! Dear existence, the fate of all of everything is on us. Repel the ultimate menace. Hold the line at all costs. And above all - finish the fight!" Onyx screamed.
"End the Darkbolts! Save the CXA!" Agent Patch shattered his bamboo with his teeth, onscreen.
"Magnifico must be stopped! There is no going back!" 2025!Peachy slammed the table.
"Master, here we come!" The demon army rifted away to install a Loop... across all of time. "And locate the best of all!"
"And this is for you, Olive..." (*3) Onyx popped a bottle of... Oni juice. The remains of a particular Onimorph... (*3)
"Ewwwgh." Eric is disgusted. "To think of some friendly Onimorphs being caught in crossfire without notice, and then everyone having to resort to..."
"We'll have to get as much help as we can. It's an ORDER!" Gira called the O.X.R. out just below within the HQ.
"You heard that?" Taylor noticed.
"I think he did." Eric left the build.
Meanwhile, at Supernova Academy, the Fox Clan - now led by Drift - immediately assisted the demon army to the past, present and future. This time, he has remote help from... the Superjudge!
Lock in, mister. Uotan, while traversing away from the Kingdom of Rosas, contacted Drift using rift energy. Congratulations on your promotion also. We are searching for an accessible ground for all of us to gather.
"Glad to have your company." Drift gives a rift a thumb-up, meant for the Superjudge. "And please protect miss Ingrid this time."
"OMG OMG OMG, I just saw from the Hourglass - the same future Off the Hook warned about!" (*4) "Same nuclear arrows, same rifts, same blast!" Deadpool reported to Drift.
"You saw the current future. Darkbolts are going to end us all, and we have to stop them." Drift commented, and then turned back and walked. "Dude, did you just so happen to visit Asha's Cottage? The neo-hag's house from back in the day?"
Meanwhile, Uotan's group listened to this suggestion. "Oh."
The Superjudge then immediately compared the database with where he, the idols and co. are standing before.
"The last the tales told, this thing... stood... oh wait..." Lyla recognized this place. "This... this really was the cottage Asha used to live in!"
"Wait... was I right?" Drift is caught off-guard.
"The cottage? OMG, we did it!" Deadpool celebrated. "Now the only thing left for you guys to do is to confirm the land is ready! We already handled the recruitment."
"Deadpool, the cottage isn't there anymore, but the land is."
The Superjudge then noticed a note lying down what might have remained of the cottage. It says: "If you're reading this, good luck stopping Magnifico. I now know that I and he should've had an agreement that would be better for everyone. But I was too late - after disposing him with everyone's help and becoming a fairy godmother, I helped people make their wishes come true, only to learn later on that some wishes are evil and dangerous. Maybe that's the real reason why Magnifico refused to grant all wishes. 'Be careful what you wish for', indeed. This will be the last message I'll ever written as myself... long after the realization, and the one time I got away. I had to rift my way to this home just to write this, before Magnifico capture me and glue me into the modded chair, so please read this carefully: Get to the reality of Kingdom of Rosas, which is where this home and the kingdom are in. Prepare to end him for his extra crimes and for going Turbo. Do it at all costs. You're everything's only hope. If you fail, we are doomed. Magnifico cannot remain a tyrant. Not anymore. "Because Ms. Continuum doesn't like to get her human form exposed, damnit!" Pearl complained. "I hope Pechy eventually understand!"
"Pearlie, I believe you're right. There is absolutely no way she couldn't freely expose her human form, especially not within using her butterfly form often. The Zerobreaker definitely locked her forms." Marina conceded. "Why don't I make a remote announcement to tell the Zerobreaker to get out of Ms. Continuum?"
Valda, also rescued, immediately repeatedly stabbed the land like a jackhammer to mark the territory. Meanwhile, back in Oninoshima...
"Attention, soldiers! We have one more thing! We've found the mothership! It's our chance!"
Everyone at Reality-783 are indeed greeted by the CXA mothership that the Darkbolts stole after the Battleworld 52 destruction (*5), and the O.X.R. saw this as signs of somebody finally taking the mothership back, unbeknownst to the Darkbolts themselves. But it's been a while since the mothership have been-
"WE DID IT! THEY NO LONGER HAVE THE MOTHERSHIP!" Cue a small celebration.

"The ZB is counting on you to hijack our plans! Your mothership is yours to own, so you could turn that against us and abduct us all!"

"You're powerful. But that doesn't mean you can just..."
2023!Pechy pushed the personified Rift Butterfly away from the mothership. "You have a piece of ZB within you right now, as Splatoon 2 girls warned us."
"My past self is right. Stay in the Island!" 2025!Pechy blocked Ms. Continuum. "This is for your safety and our survival. We need to stop the darkbolts, and we cannot do that if we're captured without a fight."
