Signing up to the forum with one of these addresses will result in your verification E-mail never arriving. For best results, please use a different E-mail provider for your QQ address.
  • For prospective new members, a word of warning: don't use common names like Dennis, Simon, or Kenny if you decide to create an account. Spammers have used them all before you and gotten those names flagged in the anti-spam databases. Your account registration will be rejected because of it.
  • Since it has happened MULTIPLE times now, I want to be very clear about this. You do not get to abandon an account and create a new one. You do not get to pass an account to someone else and create a new one. If you do so anyway, you will be banned for creating sockpuppets.
  • Due to the actions of particularly persistent spammers and trolls, we will be banning disposable email addresses from today onward.

Marcus Chen dies at 4:47 AM on a Tuesday in 2024, face-down on his keyboard, mid-way through writing point 41 of a 47-point Reddit analysis titled "How Disney Infinity Could Have Been Saved." He was 28. He worked at Best Buy. He owned every Disney Infinity figure ever produced, including the ones that weren't supposed to exist.

He wakes up in Bob Iger's body in June 2013.

Disney Infinity launches in two months. The toys-to-life market has three years before it catastrophically collapses. Avalanche Software has no idea their parent company is about to forget they exist. Ike Perlmutter is actively suppressing X-Men promotion out of spite. Kathleen Kennedy is about to decanonize thirty years of Star Wars storytelling. Kevin Feige is quietly considering quitting. The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is filming.

Marcus does not care about any of this.

Marcus cares about ONE thing: saving Disney Infinity. Making it the greatest toys-to-life game ever made. Every single business decision he makes will be filtered through this single-minded obsession — and through cosmic irony, that obsession is going to accidentally reshape the entire entertainment industry.

He's going to fire Ike Perlmutter because Ike won't let Spider-Man in the game. He's going to buy Fox for the X-Men figure rights. He's going to call Johnny Depp at 2 AM to sing a sea shanty. He's going to make the CEO of Square Enix cry over a Kingdom Hearts pitch. He's going to put Oswald the Lucky Rabbit on the biggest stage in Disney history and play as him for twenty minutes in front of millions of people.
