Where does it say anything about hem being black? It doesn't make any description of the robbers, other then them being male.

It would be funny if these were the Youkai, and we somehow convinced them to stop kidnapping people. Anyhow, does anyone want to do a better stunt? This is a 1-die at best.

The problem is, we kinda have something to do at the scene. So running away is not exactly the best option. Besides, why would we freaking run away from a mere thug?

To the youkai, not some random shmuck from the street. Considering our target has spiriting people away as part of his legend, I imagine he has some kind of ability he can use on humans that'd try to put up a struggle. Or he's plainly stronger than a human, I mean we're talking about a bloody ayakashi here. Hence, as long as we don't do something blatantly superhuman, I'd wager he'll still ping us as vulnerable.

Well I was thinking we pull the aforementioned trick, run around a corner, and then duck into a doorway and let the muggers run past us, then proceed on our pre-planned route.

At the end the two brothers, Daiki and Nobuichi you learn, are shaking your hands while bawling their eyes out.

"What the hell I did all my life!?" Daiki cries. "I saw the light!"

"Thank you mysterious handsome stranger!" Nobuichi sniffs. "I promise that when I gain my first million I will commission a statue in your honor."

Both pass an arm over each other's shoulders. "Ready Daiki?"

Who is currently bawling his eyes out in despair under the light of a street-lamp.
