Users deleting their own old polls

Went digging and found a post from Jade Kaiser noting that it was hoped that the move to XF2 would allow users to delete their own polls but that there were tech issues preventing things. SB recently figured out what their problem was and even posted how things got fixed. Is it possible that QQ's issue is the same?
