Weird Alert Issue

Every time recently (in the last month) I get an alert for a comment on a thread I click the thread, usually by making a new tab in my browser. Well when it pulls up the thread it only shows everything up too that comment, I then have to refresh the thread for the new comment to show up instead of the new comment automatically being there. I'm not sure whats up, and it really isn't that big of an issue but it is a little annoying. I just thought I'd throw it out there to see if I'm the only one this is happening to.
