Because all of Murata's changes are focused more on the upper moons and the hashira so season 1 kind of remains untouched for the most part. I say kind of because we don't know if Inosuke or Zenitsu have had any changes to their stories or not. Unlikely for Zenitsu to have changes but Inosuke may or may not have more depending on certain factors.
 
Parts of this chapter felt a bit rushed... Mostly the bit where they first met Tamayo, it just seems to be a lot of statements joined together rather than there being any narrative flow.
