  • Due to issues with external spam filters, QQ is currently unable to send any mail to Microsoft E-mail addresses. This includes any account at live.com, hotmail.com or msn.com. • For prospective new members, a word of warning: don't use common names like Dennis, Simon, or Kenny if you decide to create an account. Spammers have used them all before you and gotten those names flagged in the anti-spam databases. Your account registration will be rejected because of it.
  • Since it has happened MULTIPLE times now, I want to be very clear about this. You do not get to abandon an account and create a new one. You do not get to pass an account to someone else and create a new one. If you do so anyway, you will be banned for creating sockpuppets.
  • Due to the actions of particularly persistent spammers and trolls, we will be banning disposable email addresses from today onward.
  • The rules regarding NSFW links have been updated. See here for details.

What are your most hated fanfic tropes

You can totally have an agricultural revolution in Westeros though. And I disagree some about the industrial revolution too, it's like people forgot it all happened during the victorian age. Industry is a lot more than guns and smoking factories. Textiles will incentivise a certain level of automation all by themselves, even if it takes water wheels. Same for metalworking mass production, you can get that running just to make better farming tools, people used to have wooden shovels you know.

The real bottleneck is in making precision-measuring tools. If the SI knows about that (rubbing three stones together ad nauseam), he sure as hell can kick it off, even if it takes more than his lifetime.

The cultural/economic/whatever conditions? Sorry, but they aren't as big a hindrance as you all like to think. It was called a revolution because it went against that very same status quo. And it won. In some cases, it even won without the ugly parts (the American School).

I'm starting to really despise when a character not only takes the idiot ball, but sexually molests it. Is your character really so fucking desperate for sex that they lose their survival instincts?
When does this happen the only time I can think of similar tropes is in rape hentai where instead of killing the superpowered hot female paladin/taimanin/magical girl whatever who just killed half your guys before being stopped you decided to rape and sexually torture her instead.

I've seen a few where the MC or another character had the choice of thinking with their brain instead of dick/pussy and didn't, but the one that drove the point home for me was a WC one recently where he had evidence the Stamp didn't cause immediate or total loyalty, needed some info from a witch, but instead of waiting for said witch to wake up in the morning, killed her minions, entered her bedroom, and jumped on her to try and stamp her instead of waiting a few hours.

Granted he regretted it when he was turned into her loyal brainwashed minion for a month before breaking free, but it was a complete idiot ball moment. If that story has him doing another, it will be one of the few I've dropped on here entirely.
