Having seen clips of Captain Marvel in Young Justice, I feel compelled to disagree with your reasoning.

 

That'd be funny as hell. She confronts a mugger, but he runs away. She yells "Stop!" and he gets hit with a falling washtub or cooking pot like something out of Loony Tunes or a Japanese gag manga.
