How long would it take Kal, at current charge level, to leave the battlefield, recharge above the atmosphere and return? And if he employed that strategy, how much radioactive dust would be pulled up in his wake, and where would it be distributed?

(I'm assuming that OL would allow this method.)

So in fact, Captain Atom, as per his canon abilities in YJ, can severely hamper Mr Atom by absorbing the radiation himself.

Can Jemm, the red martian, use magic, and i don't mean does he have the capability like every other martian if they studied and practiced, but is he capable of casting spells, or whatever martian magic requires?

When OL went to Mars, Jemm was able to make his hand seem like it was on fire, like a burner, i thought that only sorcerer priests could do that?

Are red martians able to learn magic without becoming sorcerer priests?

How was Mandated OLs relationship with his version of Nabu like?

He seemed to be creeped out by the whole host thing, and found him abrasive, but otherwise talked to him and treated him very respectfully and Nabu seemed to approve his investigation into tax fraud.

Any martian can learn to use magic. J'emm has had a very basic education in the subject.

That was just really hard shapeshifting. All martians are capable, but few can psychologically cope with having flames as part of them.

Nabu was somewhat suspicious about someone using the orange light, but once he confirmed that he was striving to keep control and focus he simply assigned him a tutor.

Exactly the same. It's the people around him who are different.
 
When you say tutor, do you mean someone to help him with meditation, or someone to give him the knowledge of what Nabu knows about the orange light and its effects, properties etc. ?

I honestly would have thought that Nabu, while still being a bit of an a-hole, would be less abrasive, considering that he has a slew of hosts and many trained apprentices and assistants to help him with his tasks as well as the backing of one of his earths most powerful governments.
I could sorta understand why Nabu was an a-hole in the main story, what with Klarions actions being probably the biggest attack a chaos lord has done on the world he protects, and you know being left on a shelf for decades, most likely in isolation, which isn't exactly good for anyone.

I am not defending him, if that it what it sounds like, just pointing out how he could have the mindset he had in the story.
He still could have asked King Orin for help, seeing as he rules a kingdom of magic users, who will want to defend themselves against someone like Klarion again, or he could have read OLs notes on that golem body.

During the avarice is magic chapter of april fools, did OL transform himself into a alicorn when meeting Celestia, or did the magic of Wilson do that when he stepped foot on the planet, like Sunset when she came to earth?

Luna didn't know what he was and called him an ape, so does that mean that if he doesn't step foot on Wilson and just float in its solar system he will stay human?

When the renegade transforms into a pony, or whatever, what will be the reaction of Sinestro ring?

The implication was that Luna transformed him, and he only seemed to have become a unicorn.

Sinestro used to run a Lantern Corps with species of all morphologies as members. It wouldn't bother him.

The local ones do. The Green Lantern Corps would have to send one of the handful of magic-capable Lanterns they've got to Earth to be completely re-educated.

No, all the ones on Earth have mage-slayers. If the Guardians wanted all the greenies in the galaxy to have them, they'd have to send a magic using green lantern from somewhere in the galaxy where the local greeny is a wizard or whatever, who can go to Earth and learn how to make them/understand them. Guy and co. can use them fine, but they buy them from Atlantis rather than make them because they're not wizards. If the GL corps as a whole wants to start using them, they have to be able to make them themselves and/or have someone on Oa understand it.

Mr Atom fired a shot, but dumped a portion of the power into the ground and merely registered the full power with the GM system.

Mage slayer rounds nullify spells when they hit them. Mr Atom's outer armour is completely mundane, he's just using magic to manipulate the radiation he absorbs. They'd have to crack his chassis open and then shoot the mechanism for the mage slayer to do anything, and at that point they might just as well punch the mechanism.
