With This Ring (Young Justice SI) (Thread Fourteen)

Deep Six Status:

Shaligo: Assimilated. Currently with OL and Roy.
Slig: Turned into a seal. Might regain his mental faculties when the collar is removed.
Pyron: Assimilated. Currently dealing with Trok.
Trok: Still free. Currently fighting Pyron.
Gole: Incapacitated. Not getting assimilated unless he somehow breaks free.
Jaffar: Still free.

So, Paragon might be leaving with half a complete set. Hey Mr Zoat, do construct lanterns have the knowledge they can assimilate things from the start or are they unaware till their lantern tells them? Asking cause Larfleeze's construct lanterns seemed to assimilate everyone they killed in the comics.

The SI is unclear how much a construct lantern is a person and how much they're person-shaped orange light. He hasn't really experimented, and certainly doesn't engage them in casual conversation so as to avoid seeing them as people.

Demon Nabu tends to express a pretty strong ego.

But anyways, that wasn't what I was asking; I was asking if the construct lanterns had instinctive knowledge on their powers and could they use them at will.

For example, could Pyron decide to try and assimilate Trok on his own or would he not even know he could try to di what OL did to him unless Paragon ordered him to assimilate him.

Ring: "Identity theft in progress. One percent complete."
Paragon: "What the... Pyron?"
-Pyron's head appears from the ring.-
Pyron: "Yeah, Boss?"
Paragon: "Are you...?"
Pyron: "Nabbing Trok? Oh yeah!" -cue frown.- "Do.. you not want me too?"
Paragon: "Uh, not bothered, but I'll need to boost you to get it done."
Pyron: "Got it- OW! Dammit, Trok, stop struggling!"
Paragon: "... What does it say he's the first to try doing this without me asking him to?"

I sometimes avoid answering questions by stating that the SI wouldn't know the answer. I haven't decided whether that's a thing or not.

That may not be him.

When Paul talked to Morrow he was told that Morrow was unsure if the way he behaves is because that's how he is or because that's how Paul thinks he would.

Demon Nabu's arrogance may be Paul's belief about him.
